Luciona was so helpful when my 4 year old was having a tantrum and not wanting to try on the raincoat. She distracted him and showed us the mirror which did the trick. Thank -you!

Ciaran was extremely helpful when I called to enquire about availability of a Rab jacket. He took my number and called me back after checking in the stock room. He put the jacket behind the counter for me to collect the next day. He went the extra mile for me. Excellent service.

Great service from Raizan. He fixed a rucksack buckle from the buckle kit rather than let us stumble about trying to DIY.

Good selection for a relatively small store. Anya and Sam we’re very helpful and friendly in helping us purchase trousers and coats for an upcoming trip.

Luciona saw us looking at the rucksacs and offered help. Having ascertained why my son needed the sac and the specific requirements she talked us through several bags attributes, pros and cons. He is a tall thin teenager and she spent time adjusting the bag to his dimensions and also help pack the bag with his martial arts gear so he could feel the weight distribution. Nothing was too much trouble and we did not feel hurried. With her knowledge of the different bags he chose the OEX 70l over the more expensive models.

Very helpful staff

I'm an existing Go Outdoors customer, but went to the Reading Express store for the first time, to buy some hiking boots and walking trousers. Jack F approached to offer help, and assisted me to choose the appropriate boots and socks, and told me where everything else was in the store. Checkout was flawless, he updated my Go Outdoors member card, gave me a choice of carry bags etc. Great experience, I didn't feel pressured at any time to make my purchase choices, and I'll be happy to go back.

I went to Go outdoors today and find my perfect summer raincoat in very good price. The counter young man Jack F have been patience with me and surprised teach me how to fold my light weight raincoat into a small parcel. Great experience!

I went to Go Outdoors so I can find lightweight comfortable shoes for walking.
Ciaran and George helped me to get the pair that was a perfect fit for me by trying a bunch a pairs.
I also got a membership for only £5 which gave me a discount for the pair I bought. I will definitely purchase more pairs of shoes from Go Outdoors because of the quality of service I received and quality of shoes.

Very helpful staff, firstly on the phone the day before lettting me know what rucksacks they had in stock and then Veronica on the day was great to help us find the best rucksack for a D of E expedition.
