Reported insufficient hot water on 11th May 2026. Called several times since about it. Should have been legally looked at within 24-48 hours. First visit Guinness booked was for 11th June 2026 after complete run around, which was cancelled by phone at approx 14.00hrs on 11th June. Told next engineer availability 25th June. Told man on phone about partners ailments and at hospital on 25th June, was told he only books appointments and recieved text that visit booked for 25th June. Very unprofessional service provision. Called Guinness Partnership again and only got a visit booked for 12th June because I sited health and safety responsibilities of Guinness Partnership. Plumber turned up at 0800hrs on 12 June just to be told he cannot fix because he does not know how. Hot water still not appropriate temperature. Am now seeking legal advice from local authorities concerning breach of contract and health and safety failings. Have to boil kettle to clean dishes which increases risk of scolding to both tenants.

My neighbour came onto my garden and removed all of my stones and whilst doing they were calling me a nonce and was shouting it out in the street. After two years of complaining to Guinness and the housing ombudsman the housing ombudsman ordered Guinness to clean the area from the stones and the mess that was left. Guinness hasn’t done this. They came onto the garden and dug it all up and didn’t remove any of the stones so it’s just as much of a mess than what it was. I can not use that area to store my bins because it’s freshly dug mud and it will make a mess each time I move my bins. As a result of the damage done by Guinness contractor I have removed my property from the housing swapping website because it looks like a mess. So now I’m stuck living here and am still being harassed by my neighbour. I asked Guinness that I have no contact with Jolene Mackenzie and for her to have nothing to do with me. Jolene is now signing important private paper work for a house move so I can’t do that either now thanks to Jolene and Guinness. I have been saying to Guinness for at least 3 years not to speak with Jolene but I have again been ignored.
The gentleman on customer service today was absolutely outstanding. He was very helpful, informative, and listened carefully to every single thing I had to say. What really stood out was that he genuinely seemed to care about my health — when I had to move around to show him what I meant, he kept reminding me to take care and be careful, which meant a lot.
He was wonderful to talk to: understanding, cheerful, and such a happy, friendly person. He helped sort out several issues for me, and gave me all the clear reference numbers I need, just in case I have any questions or problems later on. One of these matters had been dragging on for ten years, and he handled it properly and patiently.
I have spoken to him before, and he is just as excellent every time. He is a true credit to Guinness, and a real pleasure to deal with. It makes such a difference when you speak to someone who actually cares and wants to help. Highly recommended.

Guinness customer services continually provide a five star service and do their best to cover the failures of service manager who seem just to ignore all issues and rent paying tenants
