Excellent service all round. Purchased washing machine, cost inc. fitting and disposal of old machine comparable to Curry’s. Installer polite and efficient, in and out in 20 minutes. Highly recommended.

My Pioneer amp developed a fault within the two year warranty. Pioneer were hopeless, and three months later have yet to supply the replacement parts. Woolacotts have been excellent, especially Catherine at Bude, who arranged a Yamaha upgrade as a replacement. Great service and friendly with it.

Customer Service at this branch in Bude, is absolutely superb. They listen and they help intelligently - so very rare. I have had dealings with Santander, Hastings Direct, Saga [and it was], amongst others, this past year and a half and HBH Woolacotts was my most positive and life affirming experience. I don't know what their training or ethos is - but it is impeccable and it made me happy in my purchase and it actually re-affirmed my faith in the human race!

The 2 star rating is for customer service and not the product purchased, which we are happy with. We purchased an appliance from Woolacotts in October 2019 and with it came a fitting service. The fitters did not fit the appliance correctly causing a substantial amount of water to leak onto the floor, and causing cracks to some of the floor tiles. In response to this Woolacotts sent out another fitter to fit it correctly and also provided a dehumidifer, which had to be kept on all day and night for several weeks in order to dry the floor out. Woolacotts offered a voucher to spend in their store, as compensation. However, we do not want a voucher, we would like a contribution towards the costs to replace the cracked tiles. We are not asking for them to pay for the cost of replacing the whole of the flooring but a contribution towards the cost, which is reasonable. After leaving messages for the manager, he has not returned my calls and therefore this issue is still unresolved. This is an update, after posting this review, Woolacotts got in touch and this has now been resolved satisfactorily. Therefore I am changing the star rating from a 2 to 4 stars. It would have been 5 stars if this matter had been resolved quickly but because it has taken 1 year and 4 months to resolve this matter, I can only give it a 4 star rating.

You may think you can only achieve competitive pricing by using the Internet and major players. Think again, I couldn't be more pleased to have found Woolacotts
who provided a first class local service when I purchased three items during a kitchen re-vamp. Everything you would want from a local retailer,very helpful staff during the Covid Pandemic, and competitive.

Having first bought from them a couple of months ago, I suspect I won’t be buying anywhere else. Their customer support is fantastic, the installation team truly amazing and no obstacle cannot be overcome. Their instore staff are highly knowledgeable. I don’t tend to write many reviews but they really are very good.

Nick at the Launceston branch went above and beyond the call of duty to help us out when our washing machine broke down just before Christmas. The customer service is A+++. Thanks again

First class service, we truly can't fault the Barnstaple branch. Have purchased various electrical items over the years and wouldn't go anywhere else! Their after sales service is second to none. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and go above and beyond. A special thank you must go to the young lady who is an absolute credit to the company.

Supplied all the kitchen equipment for our new kitchen, outstanding service, delivery was when we asked for, held onto out items until delivered, recommended some items for our kitchen. Absolutely fantastic service

Great local company. Friendly sales staff are happy to show you products, but no hard sell at all and they give plenty of time and space to make a decision. Clever at guiding you to the appropriate price range. Probably the least pushy sales staff I’ve ever met (one of my pet hates!). Excellent delivery staff - good humoured, helpful, cheerful in the face of a crying 2 year old and no complaints about a bit of an awkward site for the washing machine. I’m very glad I didn’t buy online and shopped local at the Liskeard branch.

If like me, you are sick of ordering rubbish online and bending over for huge corporate retailers (like Currys PC world) to shaft you, You will like this south west company. I have purchased several electrical products from them in-store and online, they have not failed me. They offer a nice personal touch in-store, the assistants are not clueless kids waiting for their shifts to end. They are able to offer specialist advice based on their own experiences and they do not look at you with a gormless blank expression when you ask technical questions. The prices are extremely competitive, the goods always arrive genuinely new and untarnished. I have had quibble free replacements with their service, enough confidence to even take out extended warranties despite the decline of business on the highstreet. Highly recommended, no negative issues with them, no criticisms really. Will continue to use them for my electrical appliance needs.

Not really impressed to arrive near closing time to the Wadebridge branch and have the staff look at us at the door while we made way for customers leaving, for them to then close the door without a word and put the shutters down without so much as a smile. We decided to support a local business after lock-down, but after such a lack of basic good manners when any normal response would have been perhaps to say "I'm sorry we are closing." Or "we can give you 5 minutes to ask and look at what you would like to buy.." It seems lock-down hasn't effect them badly enough if they aren't bothered about a sale. We will be buying from Amazon instead! It will cost us less and we will not have to endure such treatment.

It would be hard to find a company with better customer service than HBH Woollacott’s. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable on all the items they stock. The pricing may match other stores but the service is second to none. I would strongly recommend visiting this company before going elsewhere.

We just received our new washing machine this afternoon. A quick phone call ten minutes before arrival was most appreciated, thank you.
The delivery team were polite and most efficient and wearing their PPE equipment including masks (during the Covid-19 time).
Excellent customer care and very professional.

We have been customers since 1998 and would not go anywhere else for electrical appliances. First class service with helpful and knowlegeable staff. I am thrilled with my newest acquisition, a Rangemaster cooker, and equally pleased that they were able to take away and recycle the old one.

I wouldn’t use any other electrical supplier! The staff throughout the company are so helpful and friendly. Recently my 86yr old grandad lost his wife so has been finding the coronavirus lockdown very hard, his tv being his lifeline! With it being an old model unfortunately the screen stopped working. He contacted Woolacotts..... within a few hours a new television was delivered to his door! Great service! Thanks HBH Woolacotts

Great service great prices and an excellent installation team. Cant rate them highly enough

Returned a Soundbar which did not work with my setup. After the store did not supply the correct accessories I purchased my own which the store refunded, although when the Soundbar was returned the accessory was returned but the store deducted a further amount and would not acknowledge they were wrong despite them seeing it in front of them on a calculator. Difficult company to deal with in the event of an issue purchase with caution.

From your reply you have clearly missed the point of me returning the mic. I paid £799 and then I paid £37 you paid me back £37 and then £762.99 I’m unsure why this is so difficult for you to understand and yes I am out of pocket!
