It's a really great product! We have it in the garden as the centerpiece of the picnic table, and we eat dinner there in the cool evenings. The heat is more than enough to keep us warm and cozy while we eat.

Very expensive heaters but they are the best in my opinion. Dealt directly with Herschel and got a deal with which I was content. When I subsequently found that I didn't require one of the heaters, the company accepted the return it having not been opened from it's original packaging.

Good information from staff prior to ordering.
Items well packaged and delivered quickly. Good installation instructions. Solid well made products with good clean finish in RAL colours.

Works well , lots of heat

I had seen this product in use at a few outdoor venues and was impressed with its looks, size and amount of heat it gave out.
The ordering process was simple and it was at a good price.
Once ordered I was kept informed that the order had been received and the date of delivery.
I could track the item which arrived the next working day in the time slot given.
I was impressed from start to finish with the ordering and delivery process and as for the heater itself it looks great and for its size gives out a lot of heat.

The whole experience from our initial meeting to chossing and finaly ordering our system was made even easier with the friendly staff. We had a few problems during the delivery but these were dealt with swiftly by the team and over all very happy with what has been delivered.

Whilst delivery Company let everyone down, I was kept informed. When delivery Company smashed the product, I was sent a replacement next day.

Edit - Having contacted customer sevices - can't fault their response. Kelly emailed me the correct instructions, which worked a treat. The product is fantastic but can't give it 5 stars as ultimately it was a lot of wasted time and hassle to build the thing, but we got there in the end. Thanks Kelly.

1-Star Review: Avoid Unless You Enjoy DIY Nightmares

We’ve had this Herschel patio heater for three weeks now — and still haven’t managed to fully assemble it. Not for lack of trying — but because the instructions are, without exaggeration, the worst I have ever seen. And I once assembled a flatpack wardrobe with instructions only in Polish.

The diagrams are vague, the steps are unclear, and there’s absolutely no logical flow. It’s like they expect you to just know which bracket goes where, which bolts you might or might not have, and how to magically align components that don’t fit. To top it off, we’re missing parts — and without them, we’re stuck. If I hadn’t already recycled the packaging, this thing would be on its way back.

After hours of effort, searching online, and trying to reverse-engineer the photos, we’re still bolts short and stuck. I expected better from a premium-priced heater. Unless you’re a bracket-fitting, instruction-decoding wizard with a backup toolbox, steer clear.

Great product, purchase a 850w panel for a garden room of about 12 sqm, heats the area really well. Would well recommend it.
We only had one hiccup during the installation, we purchased a wired thermostat, which is WiFi to the app to remote control the panel. Our electrician thought it was therefore a WiFi controller and didn’t hard wire it. Therefore, we then had to purchase the battery version. But all good in the end.

There are cheaper infra red panels out there but they’re not made in the same way and so these are a good choice, whether you buy a few or like me, it’s a heating choice for my entire house. Friendly helpful informed service at all times This was especially so for Jane and Amy- thank you both.

We needed heaters which would nt look out of place in a 15th century Chapel. The black finish blends in well. Ordering and arranging delivery were straightforward.
