my bank knows nothing of this debt ven though they claim it is from them / it is not even my account number // had same bank since the 90s
they want my personel details before they do anything //
i want proof that i owe this money from where and when
obviously a scam just demanding money with menaces
their phone operators are useless cant prove anything to me unless they get my details first such a blattent con

Bailiff bullies robbed and threatened my parents.

This company sent a thug to my 75 year old father’s bungalow on Friday 25th to remove furniture for a debt that isn’t his. Not only this but my father has vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s. When my mother whom is in a wheelchair and partially sighted also in her 70s tried to intervene. This thug turned threatening to her and my father whom were bullied and frightened into paying almost £900 from their benefits leaving them with no money for food or fuel. My mother is also diabetic. I’m out of country at the moment and received a message from my very worried nephew. I will be seeking legal assistance on behalf of my parents. I will also be going the said thug. Edit update, still no response to this incident from Intrum. An admittance of the fact they know their bailiffs are doing wrong.

Fail to fix technical issues and refuse to respond to messages

I’d had an account with Intrum for a little while and generally had no problems. However, a couple of months ago the website was down for maintenance, and after that I wasn’t able to sign in to my account. Each time I tried, I received a message to say something had gone wrong and to try again later. I reached out to Intrum’s customer service department and didn’t get a response, so raised it as a complaint with them. They replied on 30th August to say their website was down and they were investigating and looking to resolve this. Almost two months later, the issue persists! I contacted them on 17th October to ask for an update and didn’t hear anything back, so I emailed again this morning (25th October) requesting a response within five working days and explaining that I would seek the help of the Financial Ombudsman if they didn’t respond. Suddenly, they’ve emailed to say my account is being sent back to the original company. No response to the complaint or subsequent email. Still no resolution of the sign-in issues on the website. Their answer is simply to shirk all responsibility and pass on to someone else to deal with. At least now I have a chance of accessing my account details through the original company’s website. But what a ridiculous way to run a business! Appalling communication and customer service.

Intrum disappointed communication and payment avenues service

Really disappointed service usually have nonissues however I wanted to make my payment earlier than due and went into online portal- was saying errors, tried ringing payment line- didn’t recognise customer reference number. Emailed twice with no reply meaning my payment was then late and received a letter regarding £20 arrears I telephoned had an advisor who told me email address was incorrect however the letter which arrived that same day but dated 13/09/2024 was same email address, she proceeded to tell me updating the portal which is why it would t work. Then wanted to complete an income and expenditure I refused as wouldn’t have missed payment and all affordable to be if there avenues to pay had been working and someone had the decency to respond to both emails. I feel if all systems getting updated then surely a courtesy message or email to customers explaining the situation and how to make a payment would have been better

Took me 8 hours to get through to this…

Took me 8 hours to get through to this company today , which is absolutely ridiculous . Requested a call back 3 times , never happened. Even sent emails and no reply . Eventually I tried another number and got through to a lovely man called Richard , who is going to try and sort things out for me . But he said it could take up to 21 days ! as he has to escalate this to another department .Not his fault I know . This company states that they have won golden awards for how they treat customers , I find that really hard to believe .
