Zunächst einmal sind die Versandkosten immens hoch. Anfangs wollte ich vier Kleider bestellen, sah dann aber, dass sich pro Kleid die Versandkosten fast verdoppelten. Also habe ich zwei Cocktailkleider bestellt, da der Versand sonst fast teurer gewesen wäre als die Kleider selbst.
Da beide Kleider nach der Anprobe leider nicht nach meinem Geschmack waren (Ware okay, aber nicht besonders; Farbe fürchterlich), habe ich sie zurückgeschickt. Anschließend wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass eine Wiedereinlagerungsgebühr dafür fällig sei. Dies wurde mir dann vom Rechnungsbetrag abgezogen.
Somit habe ich für 2 nicht gekaufte Kleider im Wert von 232 Euro gesamt 65,80 Euro (Versand + Gebühr) zahlen müssen. Natürlich verstehe ich, dass der Versand aus Singapur nicht gratis sein kann. Dennoch ist es viel Geld für nichts.

The dress arrived promptly but was seriously wrinkled and the not true to color. It was a lot of dress, if that makes sense. Sizing is way off. The dress had 3/4 length sleeves and I couldn’t raise my arms above my hips without possibly ripping the sleeves. That was strictly due to being cut or sewn wrong not sizing.

My wedding dress arrived on time. I am so impressed with the quality of the workmanship and the material used. It fits like a glove. Would highly recommend JJs House should you need a specific piece. It’s first class!

Whilst the concept of the try on dresses is brilliant and the quality of the dresses are lovely. It is frustrating the availability of colour and size on the try on dresses. I ordered 3 previous orders with JJs for try on dresses. As you can only order 4 dresses at a time, I placed 2 separate orders. The orders were both processed and sent out.

But when it came to me having to order the try on dresses for my bridesmaids who were specifically coming down to try their dresses on as they live 6 hours away. I had to place 2 orders again as 4 try on dresses was not enough. They accepted both of my orders and then emailed me the next day to say they would not send my 2nd order out until they’ve received my first order back. The only way to contact them is via email. Once I explained my reasons why, they said “we have no authority to send the 2nd order out”. What a crock of s***. I’ve since had to request to cancel my 2nd order as it will arrive way after my bridesmaids are able to come down. They need to increase the amount of try on dresses allowed to order at one time as it doesn’t work for multiple bridesmaids with different tastes or size. And if they are going to restrict, they should not let you place additional orders. The best thing is, they sent me out 6 try on dresses the first time so explain that to me?

Be careful if you want to return items you will not get a full refund. I paid 53.10 for a dress and got 40.74 back after deductions.

How do you explain deducting a coupon for 4.50 ??what is that about ?

Avoid this company, keep your money. Which i had read the reviews 1st, very disappointed in my purchases the design, quality, can't get any response from them.

Loved my dress and the quality is great the sizing is spot on. I wasn't expecting it to be such good quality and the burgandy colour is fabulous. Would purchase from jjs again but marked them down one star for the wait time took 3 weeks to get my order

Ordered outfit *dress hat and shoes*all from JJs I was delighted with the style and quality. If I need a special occasion dress I definitely would try this company first, I have also purchased prom dresses for my 3 granddaughters, they were beautiful

My Wedding dress is of fantastic quality and value for money. It came within the delivery date.

Having ordered some try on dresses I kept one and ordered another the same. Only to find the colour of the second one was not the same. I reached out to JJ’s House to request return of both and 2 new ones sending from the same batch however they would not do this, Despite many emails and quoting their t’s and c’s stating colour differences would be rectified they have not helped. My wedding is getting closer and we still haven’t been helped to resolve this.

Received my wedding dress and it is more beautiful than I could’ve imagined and needs no tailoring. For the price, I am so happy. It is comparable to a designer dress for sure! And even arrived early with the Canada post strike. WOW.

Excellent service, regular updates and great dress

I’m giving this company 5 stars because the quality of the dress is excellent, lovely heavy weight and layers more than i could have hoped for with an off the peg dress. I took a bit of a chance with sizing and left it too late for altering, so I can’t complain if the fit wasn’t spot on.
I am a bust 37.5”, long torso, long arms, hips 39.5”, quite an athletic build, height 5ft 8 or 9”. I ordered a uk 14 and it fitted pretty good- a bit loose in the waist, I could have done with getting that taken in for a sleeker look. However it wouldn’t be an easy job due to the lace pattern, the position of the zip and the layers of material. Again, I feel it’s a little narrow across the area just above the bust, making your arm movements constricted. I don’t have wide shoulders. A 12 would’ve been too constricted in the bust and a 16 way too big in the waist and hips. So, if you have allowed time for a custom fit, I would go for that next time- it’s really worth it for the price you’re paying. I had to pay £18 taxes and could see that returns would be quite expensive so you have to get it right first time.
I ordered on 20th Aug, the items (wrap as well) were dispatched on the 27th Aug and arrived in rural Scotland on 4th Sept. So that wasn’t bad timing.
I thought the ‘ink blue’ colour looked like teal in the photo… or that it could match with a teal fascinator. Well, it’s not teal. It’s a dull blue, not as dark as navy. The wrap was exactly the same colour though I ordered separately (another guess!) so I was glad about that!
My dress has a beautiful lacy top part and I should not have covered it with a plain wrap, I should’ve got a lacy wrap or none at all, the dress has sleeves so didn’t need a cover, but I was thinking of possible cold outside.
The wrap was perfect for a 14, quite roomy in fact. It’s not jacket material- it’s flimsier than that, more of a cover up, though it is lined. The other thing to watch for is the neckline. Be careful to choose the right neckline on the wrap to match the dress- I didn’t!
So, all this to say that if you’re careful, measure properly, order custom made perhaps, allow plenty time for any further adjustments you need to make yourself, you should have a really good experience as online purchases go.

I placed an order on 1st October, the website states tailoring time 12-15 days, my order is still saying processing so it has not yet been shipped. I reached out but no answer, even though it states that replies will be within 24 hours, still nothing. Update: received reply, order now shipped. Feeling much better now

Purchased shoes for my wedding. Beautiful quality and very comfortable and delivery was quick.

Purchased a dress for my sons wedding in October the size chart was accurate thankfully and dress arrived early and was a perfect fit.

Quality was excellent, I'm very relieved as it's quite stressful ordering something for a special occasion and there is always a possibility that it would not fit me.
