MBE Sheffield - really pleased. Asked for a quote and responded really quickly. Reasonable price. They collected item from auction house. Parcel wrapped really secure and protected. Arrived quickly. Would recommend.

I had a fantastic experience and couldn't recommend this company more. The team were incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about helping me. They took the time to make sure everything was sorted, and their customer service was outstanding. I'm genuinely so happy they were able to solve my printing issue.

As a student, it's great to know there's a printing company in Cambridge that is reliable, approachable, and willing to go the extra mile for its customers. The quality of service was excellent, and I left feeling really looked after.

I ordered a pick-up from an auction house for two small but expensive lots. Had very pleasant conversations during the process. Last Saturday I received the Mailboxes request for payment which I stopped what I was doing and paid immediately. I sent another email to them (as they offered extra insurance cover in their money request message), I clearly instructed them to use Royal Mail Special Delivery stating that the parcel would then automatically be insured for up to £2,500. I later received another response which being tied up at the time I mis-read where they ignored my earlier request stating that they would send it by the unreliable and uninsured ParcelForce, where I mis-read it I did respond saying something like brilliant but why did they ignore my earlier request? How many times must a customer repeat themself? They are supposed to be professional shippers, why would anyone ship an expensive item with an unreliable and uninsured service. The parcel would have been small in size and weigh less than 600g. It was an obvious selection to choose Royal Mail Special Delivery and in reality I should not have had to request it. On Tuesday ParcelForce (I made my complaint before this) was supposed to have delivered. I waited in and 100% at no time did they attempt delivery. They updated the delivery tracking to 'attempted delivery', this was a blatant lie. I asked Mailboxes, again, to follow this up (should have been a simple piece of customer service at least). They refused. I telephoned ParcelForce myself and spoke to hopefully one of their superstars and arranged for the parcel to be re-delivered to my local Post Office (a business with opening times where ParcelForce cannot lie on the tracking regarding attempted delivery). I am still waiting this to reach (hopefully) my Post Office, so fingers crossed. I take great exception to the fact that despite giving clear instructions, even stating why using Special Delivery makes sense, I was ignored. It would have been a point of complaint receiving the E-Mail that I mis-read alone. Mailboxes (the franchised company) have to date been totally unapologetic, unhelpful with zero customer service just repeating themselves in all of their replies. The company Mailboxes have not as promised reached out to me. Hopefully I will safely receive my parcel (but it is ParcelForce and the parcel is uninsured). Also worth noting that it appears on the shipment that Mailboxes has put me as sender and receiver, I am not the sender, Mailboxes is so why would they do this? This is still ongoing as I have not received the parcel. Can I use Mailboxes again, or even recommend them, as it stands absolutely not. I am aware, as mentioned Mailboxes is a franchised business and I have repeatedly used some which are fantastic. Mailboxes needs to up the standard that they allow their franchises is operate under so that their service is more consistent. Very unhappy, very stressed out with this situation and still worried whether or not I will receive my expensive purchases and who will be liable if I fail to receive the parcel or it is damaged in the prolonged shipping service chosen by Mailboxes?

Update: ParcelForce has a extremely poor reputation on TrustPilot scoring 1.7. Most customers state similar problems to what I encountered. Mailboxes picks up from Antique Auctions, they should know the shipping industry. Based on the general consensus of experiences encountered by ParcelForce customers why are Mailboxes even using ParcelForce?
Update 2: ParcelForce delivered to my home not the organised post office. Totally dismayed, did I mention that the items were extremely expensive, they arrived in a very narrow thin wall box with zero packing materials and zero bubblewrap. The several expensive items clanged against each other in transit. Some of the items were silver & enamel, the fact that there appears no damage on first inspection to the enamel is a miracle. I am now waiting for Mailboxes to contact me. Note: the Mailboxes message here asking for details but giving no address to send it to I have been told by Mailboxes to ignore.

Visited the Holborn branch. It’s just a shop front with a counter. I mention this because I had hoped to go to the toilet once I reached my destination. I thought it works be mire like a building. There was a queue of six or so people before me stretching out the door, but the person at the counter dealt so efficiently with everybody that the queue shrank v quickly. Once I got to the counter, it took about 30 seconds to complete a form and show my documentation and get my paperwork given to me. Impressively quick.

Staff is very kind and helpfull! Highly recommended!

Mi sono affidata al MailBox 590 (Firenze, via Pistoiese), e per la prima volta, dopo aver usato diversi uffici Mail Boxes in varie parti del mondo, mi son trovata di fronte a una persona arrogante e presuntuosa. Ho chiesto di spedire un pacco dall'Italia all'Inghilterra, fornendo tutti i dati relativi a valore commerciale della fattura, i community code, il numero Eori e la P.Iva inglese. L'ufficio, senza neanche chiedermelo, ha optato per l'opzione Express ma, all'arrivo in Inghilterra, il pacco è stato bloccato perchè non era stato inseriro, da MBE, il numero Eori, nè la spunta su Origine Preferenziale EU, nè la P.Iva, e solo un codice communitario, sbagliato.

A monte, avevo pattuito con il fornitore italiano della materia prima con la quale sono stati realizzati i prodotti spediti, che mi avrebbe fatto nota di credito su IVA al ricevimento del MRN, il visto di uscita da Europa, ma, questo non è stato possibile, perchè l'MRN è sbagliato a causa del mancato inserimento dei dati da parte di MBE, nel momento in cui ha prenotato Fedex.

Inoltre, quando ho cercato di risolvere la questione dell'Eori da me, rispondendo all'impiegato Fedex che mi aveva contattata, mettendo in c.c. MBE, la risposta di questo ufficio MBE è stata 'la prossima volta, può rivolgersi ad altri
sistemi o direttamente ai corrieri'. Inoltre ho mandato due email in due giorni per chiedere se possono aiutarmi a risolvere la questione, ma non mi rispondono.

Il quartier generale MBE di Milano poi è del tutto irraggiungibile a quanto pare, sul sito ufficiale compaiono un'email che non è attiva, e un numero di telefono a cui non risponde nessuno.

1 star – Avoid this brand and especially the Reading Branch, an absolute joke

I paid £90 to have my dissertation printed here, and collecting it has turned into a nightmare. I’m working full-time, so every trip to this store means taking time out of my working day.

First attempt: the shop had shut early with no warning, and the sign explaining this was literally turned inside out, so I couldn’t even read it. I had to call the Maidenhead branch and then head office just to figure out what was going on to which the head office didn’t even know either.

Second attempt: shut early again, this time for staff training, with zero notice given to customers who’d planned around the listed opening hours.

Two wasted trips, two lots of time off work, and still no parcel. For a service you’re paying for, this is a joke. No communication, no reliability, and no consideration for customers who actually have jobs to work around. I’m now having to chase them to get it shipped out instead, because I can’t keep taking time off to be let down by a locked door.

Would not recommend this branch to anyone with a genuine deadline.

I have used MBE Hammersmith for a few years now. 
Jason has always been prompt and quick in his responses to my queries. The packing of delicate items that are being sent to New Zealand has resulted in everything arriving in perfect condition. Nothing is ever a problem when dealing with Jason and the staff.

I would highly recommend this particular MBE Cambridge. If you purchase at auction and are looking for a shipper in this area, MBE Cambridge has earned my trust. The communication was detailed and consistent, they were knowledgeable, they filled out the paperwork correctly, they were fast, and they packaged my antique oil painting well. I have been shipping from the UK to the US for over 10 years and this is one of the top five shipping experiences that I have had.
