Poor dismal shocking service
Poor dismal shocking service , every interaction as a claimant causes stress. Incapable of dealing with claims without demanding the bizarre information. Invoices templates from hospitals and providers are asked to be changed . Zero empathy and a business that runs like dinosaurs are in charge

Can’t believe how easy it was to upload an invoice - complete a very simple form
And I was paid days later.
Phoned the helpline to understand how it works, and a human answered!
And she was super-helpful.

I wouldn't recommend this company
I wouldn't recommend this company, I've used others in the past and have had no issues. These guys try everything in their power/small print not to pay out. The effort to fight to get genuine claims paid is not worth the hassle and stress.

Do not use these people
Do not use these people, I have currently submitted a claim for my excess Private Medical Insurance 6 times and everytime they find a reason to turn the claim down.
Moving the goalposts each time. I phoned them and they told me what was wrong with the claim, resubmitted and they have turned it down on something else. In total I have submitted about 6 different documents and they are not happy with any of them and that is all I have. This has been ongoing for approximately a month, I have been out of pocket and it does not appear to be ending anytime soon. Please do not use them, it is bad enough to be unwell, without having this stress on top of it.

A hopeless mobile application
A hopeless mobile application - once you put together a claim you can't review your attachments. The range of claimable services are 'steeped in mystery' - the app UI is pathetic - there are no explanations for the categories to claim against - do the basics !! designed to be difficult...

Disappointing claims handling
I have held a Medicash Health Cash Plan and recently submitted a claim for a Sports Massage, which is a benefit covered under my Level 1 policy.
Although I provided an invoice showing the treating practitioner’s name, qualifications, professional membership number and details of the treatment, my claim was declined because Medicash could not verify the practitioner’s qualifications and requested a copy of the therapist’s Sports Massage certificate.
Unfortunately, despite repeated requests, the treatment provider has been unable to provide the additional documentation requested by Medicash.
What has disappointed me is that the claim was declined rather than Medicash contacting the treatment provider directly or advising what alternative evidence would be acceptable. As a policyholder, I have found myself caught in the middle of a dispute over documentation that only the provider can supply.
I have now raised a formal complaint with Medicash, which has been acknowledged and is currently under investigation. I hope the matter will be reviewed fairly and resolved promptly. If it is, I will happily update this review to reflect the outcome.
