MortgageGym are advertised online as being mortgage free and there are no mention of broker fees on their website only lender fees. Right as I was ready to submit an application with them I was told there would be a fee of £499 to progress. Maybe this is something that's changed reasonably recently but it felt very misleading and left a bad taste in the mouth.

We are lucky we have Christophe Hayes as our mortgage advisor , such a great person and great service he provided, after a terrible experience and being left down by L&C we contacted Embrace FS and they recommended Chris to be our advisor, he with confidence promised everything will be ok , And he did it 😄 we have a mortgage offer and everything gone through 😃, we are a couple of weeks to get our first home keys 😍😍 we really felt like Chris had our back , 100% recommended , thank you Chris

I’ve just moved into my first house thanks to Mortgage Gym and the service has been brilliant.

One house I was going to buy fell through after almost 6 months (structural issues) and during that time my advisor Deelan stayed in touch, keeping the mortgage company updated.

Carrie Morris took over for the next house and she too was brilliant - extremely responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. She found a really good deal which is fixed for 5 years. During the application the mortgage company had an issue with the new build warranty which ultimately we were able to resolve. Within a couple of hours of hearing about it Carrie got in touch to say she’d lined up an alternate mortgage which didn’t have the same problem. It felt like she had my back and I was very grateful to know that!

I’d be very happy to recommend Mortgage Gym and Carrie Morris to anybody, they’re worth their weight in gold - they made a stressful process easier and got me a much better deal than I’d have found by myself.

Made an appointment with Christoper Hayes. Got multiple reminders prior the appointment. However, Mr Hayes cannot be bothered to call. completely waste of my time. There are more attentive service elsewhere.

After this review, mortgage gym arranged another appointment for me with Ashleigh Wilson. She sounded helpful but cannot come up with any work.

Fantastic service put own minds at total rest for the whole solution. As a more mature purchaser who always leaves things to the last minute they totally upfront and honest with me from the start but managed to find the best fit which worked for me 100% i would recommend certainly my Broker to any one who is looking at this mine field and needs that total helping hand feeling

Through the process of my mortgage application Carrie was with me all the way. She made me realise I could get a mortgage. I am so pleased with the service provided. Now I have a mortgage. Everything went through perfectly. Give them chance.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Deelan Hourami and his team for their help in securing my mortgage offer. Deelan Hourami was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as my mortgage broker for a recent property purchase. He was clear and well informed when it came to explaining the process which was useful to me as a first-time buyer. He managed to find an affordable mortgage with a fixed low rate of interest and also recommended some appropriate life insurance. Always available, with informed, experienced responses to any mortgage queries, Deelan was also very prompt at returning any calls. He provided a comprehensive service and remains a point of contact for any financial services I may require in the future.

I was recommended Mortgage Gym by my siblings, who had used Mortgage Gym to purchase their first homes. They had a very pleasant experience with their service.
As this was our first home. We had a broker assigned to us who was good initially until we heard he was leaving. We felt as he was leaving Mortgage Gym our case was not important anymore and experienced a few issues i.e. we were not informed of the deadline to submit our final documents which was required to complete our application, which resulted in needing to resubmit our whole application.
Fortunately for us, the property was on a chain and the vendor had not found their property yet. I was extremely upset and made a complaint to Mortgage Gym, shortly after this I received a call from the area manager and was assigned to a new broker the following week.
Our new assigned broker Jahidu (Jay). He introduced himself to us and advised of everything we needed to know, what he required from us clearly, in order to complete our application. Jay asked us how much we are willing to pay and what our ideal repayments were, as we are a young couple looking to settle and build a family. The service we received was bespoke and tailored to what me and my wife needed and wanted.
Jay then worked on applying for a new mortgage and provided us with an amazing deal which was far and beyond our expectation. Which was a huge relief as well as delight as were extremely happy with his securing such a great deal. Jay always kept us up to date with any new updates and always checked in and discussed all our options with us, to ensure we were happy. He ensured and worked on getting us the best mortgage offer for us.
I remember one evening, I had texted Jay for an update out of working hours and he responded to us with a call which was on his day off. We appreciated the care and dedication he showed towards us. Which was heart-warming to me and my wife, as not only was he extremely professional whilst working with us he always went that extra mile, especially as he knew we as his clients where very stressed.
We would like to thank Jay for everything he had done for me and my wife. As this is our first home in which he helped us to accomplish with a deal which will provide us with a health lifestyle. We appreciate all his hard work, professionalism and extreme compassion whilst dealing with our case.

As a broker, he was very efficient, honest and helpful in guiding me through the process of obtaining a mortgage. We had such a fantastic experience with Mortgage Gym. In particular our broker Jahidu, he was fantastic! Even before we were even fully ready to get started as we hadn't listed our flat yet, Jahidu talked us through the whole process and helped us to understand the process of buying and selling simultaneously. He was always really accessible and guided us through the process with such care and attention. Will definitely be using Mortgage Gym and Jahidu again in the future. Would definitely recommend them.
