Das neue Haus in Würzburg ist hinsichtlich der baulichen Qualität sehr ansprechend. Vielfältiges Bemühen der Mitarbeiter ist auch klar zu erkennen. Was gar nicht geht ist das in Schichten angebotene Frühstück in überfüllten Räumen. Sitzend auf LIEGESOFAS und tiefergelegten Coutchtischchen bricht man am Besten gleich ab. Das geht schnell. Denn man hat ja schon bezahlt. Eine unglückliche Erfahrung.

Wir kamen am 28.April 2024 im Motel One in Lübeck an und baten um ein nettes Zimmer. Dies muss der Herr an der Rezeption völlig falsch verstanden haben, denn das Zimmer, das uns zugeteilt wurde, war schlichtweg eine Katastrophe, dunkel, klein und muffig. Das einzige Fenster ließ sich nur einen Spalt weit öffnen. Hinter der zweiten Gardine befand sich eine fensterlose Wand, kein Kleiderschrank ,nur Regale; ein Mini-Badezimmer, das aufgrund der mangelnden Luftzirkulation muffig roch mit wenigen Ablageflächen. Aber erst in der Nacht wurde uns das Ausmaß der schlechten Luftzirkulation bewusst. Um ca. 3:00 Uhr packten wir unsere Sachen, gingen zur Rezeption und bestanden auf einem anderen Zimmer. Sonst wären wir noch in der Nacht abgereist.
Der freundliche Herr an der Rezeption sah unsere Verzweiflung und bot uns ein ebenfalls kleines Zimmer - für Booking-com Kunden stehen nur bestimmte Zimmer zur Verfügung- an. Dieses Zimmer hatte wenigstens zwei Fenster, die sich auf Kippe stellen ließen und einen seitlichen Blick auf den schönen Marktplatz in Lübeck. Die Austattung des Zimmers war gleich, aber die Luft war besser. Richtig nett und freundlich war eigentlich nur der Herr, der die Nachtschicht hatte, alle anderen waren okay, aber nicht übermäßig freundlich ,wie es manche Reisende ausdrücklich erwähnt hatten. Das Frühstück war mäßig wie auch die Qualität, und damit erwies sich der Preis von 16,90 Euro pro Tag als stolzer Preis für relativ einfache Elemente des Frühstücks.
Alles in allem wirkt das stylische Ambiente der Bar angenehm, allerdings kann es nicht über ein nicht gerade kundenfreundliches Konzept hinwegtäuschen.

Mail Kontakt sehr schleppend. Telefonkontakt funktioniert seit 1 1/ 2 Std. nicht.
Unmöglich.Waren bisher in vielen Motel One Hotels es gab noch nie Probleme!! Hannover absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Hier bin ich in Berlin immer wieder sehr gerne zu Gast. Zwar kleine Zimmer, aber immer sauber und modern. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück lecker mit viel Bio Qualität zum angemessenen Preis.

Loved this hotel. Its was so clean. We loved our room. Also had organic hair and body wash, hair drier, fresh towels. Staff were really friendly. Really just made our time fantastic. Would definately recommend

Meine Erfahrung bezieht sich auf München. Alles war sauber sehr viele Kissen fand ich super und schalldichte Fenster.
Fand nur 11€ für einen Stellplatz zu teuer

Our stay at Motel One Innsbruck, room 1115, on 24 to 25 March 2024 was a disaster. The Airco in the room has no way of tuning up or down, regardless the buttons which suggest that one could. do so. In winter the systems blows hot air. When entering the room the temp must have been 25 degrees. When asked to the night service, they admitted that no lower temp was possible, and suggested we open a small, floor height window. We did and enjoyed the extreme noise of passenger and freight trains we were overlooking from the 11th floor. It was the noise or the suffocation choice. We hardly slept 3 hours out of 10. when opening the narrow window we noticed there was no stop on it and teh floor height window could open almost 90 degrees, with enough opening to step outside on the 11 floor. The very danger for an absent minded, blind, child or suicidal person is imaginable.

This was our 3rd stay here and it'll be our last!!! Motel One Newcastle.
We arrived and we were lucky enough to get an early check in. So off we went for a few drinks and a bite to eat before attending a gig. I had a sore head coming on, so we went back to the room so I could try & get rid of it before heading back out.
Got up to find BEDBUGS all over. Went straight to reception to inform them. I was very discreet, so as to not alert any other guests as there was a queue waiting to check in. We were moved rooms to the other side of the building. On arrival to this room, the toilet was filthy! We had to leave for the gig, so informed reception the next morning. Had we not had the gig and meeting our friend, I'd have been on the next train home.
Charlotte was great, asked us to send an email with all the photos of both rooms. She later grabbed us before we headed out to meet our friend. Informed us we were to receive a full refund. ( I wouldn't expect anything less) She really seemed to care about our whole experience. Also said that the manager would be in touch on Monday.
We were offered a generic apology and an offer of a free night in any Motel One. However this would mean that we'd need to spend even more in their hotel as normally you have to book 2 nights. So not much of a goodwill gesture. The bites started showing up on the monday and continued to do so, that I had over 100 bites!!! Unfortunately I take an allergic reaction to mozzie bites, and these went the same way. You can still see some of the marks 4 weeks later. Nit the best reminder of a horrendous weekend!!!"So after a few emails back & forward Sophie was then passing my complaint onto the Regional Manager. Well, over 3 weeks later I've still heard nothing. I was reassured that my complaint was being taken seriously! Well, clearly not as Sophie is ignoring my email. So much for the guest being their utmost priority. As the silence is deafening.
I'd sure like to know how they'd have felt/feel if this ever happened to them!!! What was supposed to be a nice chilled out, relaxing weekend away turned into a big nightmare!!!!

Leider nur noch auf Profit aus. Ich habe Motel One immer gern gebucht, aber die Preise heute haben nichts mehr mit dem Standard zu tun, den Motel One bietet. Da kann man in jeder Stadt Hotels buchen, die tatsächlich den Preis bieten, denen es entspricht und im Standard Motel One in nichts unterbieten!

Ich habe bestimmt schon mehr als 100mal in vielen verschiedenen Motel Ones übernachtet. Der Style und die Sauberkeit sind toll aber ein echter Schwachpunkt ist das Frühstück. Es gibt kein Rührei oder andere warme Speisen. Das ist der Grund warum ich nun Ibis und Premier Inn bevorzuge. Dort ist das Frühstück viel besser. Wenn Motel One warme Speisen einführen würde, wäre es auch für internationale Gäste weniger enttäuschen. Für Asiaten und Briten muss Frühstück warm sein.

Chaos trifft auf immer schlechter werdende Qualität!

Design ist eben doch nicht alles. Alleine die Messeaufschläge im Jahr 2024 sind eine regelrechte Frechheit und die damit verbundene Qualität wird zunehmen schlechter.

Verbindliche Vereinbarungen mit einzelnen Häusern werden gemäß dem Grundsatz (was interessiert mich mein Geschwätz von gestern) einfach missachtet.

Zum Glück gibt es auf dem Hotelmarkt mittlerweile auch vernünftigere Anbieter!

Über Jahre Business Kunde bei Motel One mit mehreren hundert Nächten für Veranstaltungen. Leider sind wir als Business-Kunde unerwünscht, das wurde uns auch tatsächlich so mitgeteilt. Wir seien zu viel Arbeit, weil unsere Kunden nicht gemeinsam per Bus anreisen und auf einmal eingecheckt werden, sondern gesondert über unterschiedliche Flüge ankommen. Man könne nicht für jedes Zimmer einen einzelnen Check-In machen. Absurd, wofür ist ein Hotel dann da?

Letztlich hatte ich das Gefühl, ein mittlerer Manager wollte seine Macht ausspielen. Nach der Corona-Krise geht es den Stadthotels offensichtlich wieder zu gut.

1Nacht in Rostock. Sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück gut. Ausstattung des Frühstücksraums etwas ungewöhnlich aber ok. Es fehlte ein 3. Kaffeeautomat ( Schlange)

Booked a 1 night stay in Motel One Edinburgh Royal and paid £199 for a city view room, overlooking the Christmas Markets. Hotel lounge and reception give a very good impression of a fairly decent hotel, and so did room (and view) right up until I went to put my jamas under the pillow.

Noticed a dirty mark on the sheet, wondered if it was a washed-in mark, so pulled back sheet to inspect. It wasn’t! It was a fresh mark from the previous occupant (scraping it with fingernail moved some of it). They seriously expected me to sleep on unwashed sheets 🤢

Worse was to come. As I pulled back the sheet, I noticed stains, pubic hairs and long head hairs, and on pulling back the sheet I was absolutely appalled and traumatised, as the mattress protector was littered with yellow stains and they weren’t fresh!!!! I don’t even want to think about their origin 🤮

I went down to reception, explained and they were very apologetic and told me they’d replace bedding. I went back up to room and pulled the mattress protector back and a second protector was also stained and had hairs on it. That was me done. When they arrived to change the bedding, I showed them what I’d found and I think they were as taken aback, as I was. They were certainly very apologetic. I said I wasn’t prepared to sleep on the bed. I was told I could move rooms but that no city view rooms were available, which I accepted.

As we waited to be assigned a new room, I was so grossed out, the idea of sleeping in any bed in the hotel, if this was standard, was truly putting me off. I rang the hotel and spoke with female on reception and stated that I wanted a refund, so we could move to another hotel.

I was told I could not have a refund as I’d checked in! I was told there were no other rooms to move into. I was told I could speak to manager at 6.30am the next morning. I was told I could have free breakfast. None of which were an option, as I refused point blank to sleep in what I can only describe as a biohazard!!!!

I went down to reception and spoke to supervisor, Louis who confirmed there was no room to move us into. I told him I wanted a refund, and he didn’t object, tho’ interestingly I was refunded £99 not the £199 I’d paid! When I pointed it out, he asked if I’d booked 2 rooms? No! Had I booked 2 nights? No! I had to provide confirmation email, to prove I’d paid £199 for 1 night stay in 1 room!

Finally refunded, I managed to book another hotel though this meant a trek across the city (not great when you’re disabled and not appreciated either)!

I’m no snob. I’ve stayed in plenty of budget hotels in UK and abroad however, never once in all my 54 years, have I refused point blank, to stay in any hotel. For the first time ever, it has caused me to question what I’m actually sleeping on in a hotel and you can bet it’ll be the first thing I check, going forward! What has been seen can’t be unseen, unfortunately!

Will never stay in another Motel One establishment, you literally couldn’t pay me to put myself through that again. A 3* hotel, I wouldn’t even award 1* and charging £199 when you can’t even provide a clean bed, well shame on you Motel One.

Servicen i loungen var under al kritik. Vi sad 45 min og ventede på at servitricen kom for at rydde mængder af glas af bordet. Det skete aldrig. Flere gange var vi oppe i baren for selv at ville hente drikke varer. Det kunne man ikke.
Senere samme aften sad vi også længe uden der kom en til bordet. Da vi endelig fik bestilt ved baren kom der intet, før vi selv hentede tingene efter at gave ventet yderlig 20 min. Vi sad igen i mængder af andres glas der heller ikke denne gang blev ryddet af.
Ved tjek in var værelser ikke klar.
Ellers dejligt værelse tæt ved alting.

…man sollte sich die Zimmerpreise genauer ansehen ein Zimmer im Motel One kostet heute zum Beispiel mehr als im sehr hochwertigeren Friesacher in Anif die Preispolitik ist nicht nachvollziehen…

Wir waren in Berlin, Hauptbahnhof:
Ein zuvorkommender Service, freundlich.
Saubere Zimmer, die Betten waren angenehm.
Ich hätte mir nur beim Frühstück halt etwas mehr gewünscht, wie zum Beispiel Rührei.
Ich kann das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Great service from Manchester.... We had a personal issue and had to leave , heart felt and refund of the night we didn't use, great to see great customer service.

Wir waren im Motel one Nürnberg City. Von Anfang an begeistert. Das Personal mega freundlich, die Inneneinrichtung ansprechend, kreativ und gemütlich. Zimmer war zwar klein, aber da hält man sich eh nur zum Schlafen auf. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ein Traum, es hat an nichts gefehlt, immer genügend für alle da. Sehr zu empfehlen. Ein besonderes Lob geht an Mohamed Helmi. Er war um uns so bemüht, so ein freundlicher, symphatischer Mitarbeiter und immer ein Lächeln aufgesetzt, trotz der vielen Arbeit, die er zu bewältigen hat

Motel One München-Haidhausen -Sehr höfliches, aufmerksames Personal am Empfang und an der Bar. Private Flasche Wein wurde für den Gast im Kühlschrank deponiert.
