Massively overcharged, ripped off.

I ordered 4 pizzas last night. I used the deal on their website for 2 large one-topping pizzas for $22.99. I ordered 4 pizzas. 3 had stuffed crust, which I knew would come with an upcharge of $4/pizza.

Instead of $26.99 and $30.99, I was charged $32.16 and $42.16.

Two of the pizzas were plain cheese. One was pepperoni, one had mushrooms. It is assumed a pizza comes with cheese, so the inevitable argument from Papa John's that the charges were for having 'additional' toppings doesn't hold up. Not to mention, which topping cost me an additional $12?! According to my receipt, the two pizzas I was charged $42.16 for was the cheese pizza and the pepperoni pizza.

There's no excuse for this. They owe me $24, not including the taxes, or additional tip we gave due to being overcharged, and on mother's day of all days. The one day I shouldn't have to cook and was looking forward to a break. They also failed to deliver my bottle of Dr. Pepper, just to add insult to injury.

I will not be ordering from them again.

Took one hour to say they can't locate my address although they delivered to me many times before, then canceled my order

If I could rate zero stars I would. The staff was civil but the pizza is so gross and soggy, and brittle. I used to love this place but now this should be called "Cràppa John's". Last time we got pizza from there, the pizza literally looked brittle. When I took a bite, the entire slice collapsed. It was wet at a point to where you can't eat it, as if someone spat on it. Threw it all away immediately. The Pizza Hut at my local Target has way better pizza than this. Their commercials are cringe too. This is why we go to Little Caesars, at least THEY know how to cook a pizza. Domino's and Pizza hut are better alternatives also. Never again will I eat at Papa John's. What a load of BS.

Een grote order geplaats bij Papa John’s Almere op 26 januari met 27 januari als bezorg datum na een groepstraining. Een half uur voor de bezorgtijd werd per mail gemeld dat de order was geannuleerd. Ik kwam daarachter omdat ik telefonisch contact opnam met de vraag waar de bestelling bleef. Het is nu 13 februari en we hebben ons geld 110,35 nog steeds niet terug. 2x telefonisch contact gehad met de vraag wanneer we ons geld terugkrijgen. De eerste belofte is niet waargemaakt, nu zou het "hopelijk" (woorden v.d. manager) de 14e op de rekening staan. Het emailadres op de website klopt niet, mails komen als onbezorgd retour.

You would not believe what happened this evening when jeff went to pick up our dinner.

What was supposed to be a relaxing night at home watching movies and eating pizza, started out with a call to alabaster police department. Jeff went to Papa Johns Pizza in alabaster, Store #696
565 1ST ST N., Alabaster, AL 35007, to pick up our pizza. He called me as he was getting in the car from picking up our order to confirm that we only ordered two pizzas because we typically order three. I explained that I ordered three and told him that I would send him a screenshot of the order. Jeff didn’t know that he didn’t hang up the phone so I was on the phone listening. He went back inside to tell the guy who gave jeff our order that he was given someone else’s order. Jeff put the pizza on the counter and said “I’m glad I called my wife, I think you gave me the wrong order, we ordered three pizzas”. Jeff said that the employee picked up the top pizza and said, Is she Melanie? this Is your order. I could hear jeff say, look at my phone here is the order.  The employee didn’t want to hear that he had given us someone else’s order and that all jeff wanted was the pizza that we ordered and paid $58 for. He was yelling for jeff to get the “F$&@ out of his store” and kept cursing at him. Jeff kept telling him no and was trying to show him the order so that we would get the correct pizzas. I literally had to call 911 to tell them that my husband was being screamed at and confronted by this employee because my husband was given the wrong pizza and wanted the correct pizza.

The police came, jeff was calm, which they noted before they even went into papa John’s to see what was going on. The employee had called 911 on my husband because he came back inside to get our pizzas and return the ones we were given. The employee confronted the police and immediately got irrational and confrontational. It was a completely insane situation. We will not be going back to that Papa John’s ever again. The officer took a report because he said this was the craziest thing. The officer knew that something was was wrong when the manager was rude to them and Jeff was calm.

Hopefully the corporate office will pull the video from the camera behind the counter. I can’t imagine the owner of this franchise knows how his employees treat their customers.

My boyfriend decided to order two pizza's for both of us, late at night. When we checked the uber eats app for about 40 minutes after taking the order. We (only) read that the restaurant was closed on the app. So we began checking on the internet and it was open in one location. So we decided to call them to make sure our order was still going to be made. It was already 23.00 when we ordered. At 00.00 still no update. After no clue about our order, I decided to make a call. At first it was a normal conversation. But the tone and attitude switched very quickly when I asked about the order that was made. The man reacted very grumpy. He only replied very short and abruptly. His answer was to simple, the pizzas would be done in 15 minutes. We both noticed that he wanted to brush me of. 'Cause he didn't even ask about wich order I was talking about. Or the name of my boyfriend.
And he rudely ended the conversation very demeaning. Just an angry yes and bye.

I was flabbergasted so I kept quiet. But this is outrageous. I'm never going to order here ever again. They already made a big mistake with a previous order for my boyfriend!

This is the last time that I'm taking this from them.

A place to get a quick meal, but I'm not a big fan. The service is good but sometimes it's a little bit crowded and not enough people to keep the fast pace.

If you all notice with all of the bad reviews on here, Papa John's does not comment to anyone don't care!
I have made a compliant every time to corrupt and they never made the district managers fix or get rid of the problems! It's the same thing over and over again!
Especially the store in Conyers Georgia at the HWY 2 in the Honey Creek area zip code 30094! They never cut the pizzas all the way through! I always have to get a pizza cutter to cut my pizzas. They do not add extra sauce when I order. It is always barely any sauce! They over cook the pizzas every time.

Pizza 14” cost me 30€ and it was the most disgusting pizza I had since pizza in school canteen. All ingredients wore chopped and cheapest one u can get, Italian sausage so horrible that even dog refuse to eat it. Best part of pizza was the edge. Owner should go to Italy and hang him self on a olive tree.

Voor het eerst pizza bij Papa kruisstraat eindhoven besteld ......maaar echt wel de laatste keer! Koude pizza , slecht belegd , 2 bakjes saus om er een beetje smaak aan de pizza te maken werkelijk wat een joke ... kun je beter D'r oetker pizza van Appie Heijn in de oven leggen lekker warm en beter belegd !! Enne geen sausje nodig......

The old papa John’s is dead. Terrible customer service, rude and uninformed self righteous lady working at the register, no more carry out specials, and a 40% price increase. Why pay for bad service and mediocre pizza???

I stopped at Papa John’s in Cardiff on my way home. I placed my order, but then when I tried to pay, they told me that they no longer accept cash! It started as a Covid thing, but now it’s permanent!

35 pound for two pizzas, your crazy. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Happy to say I said no😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Ordered pizza tracked via app said it was being checked and cut for over 40mins? Called store twice once not answered the other answered and hung up…eventually claimed refund from PayPal then driver turns up over hour 45 minutes later and just told him not taking it … very disappointed… it’s not the drivers fault.. but papa John’s really gone downhill

This is for papa johns portslade - congratulations you shining beacon of utter dismay.
20 mins predicted delivery from round the corner.
Took over an hour and was cold.
Refund promised 4 days ago. Still nothing.
