We had a great time at Potters,Hopton the moment you arrive to the day you leave it was 1st class. The hospitality,friendlyness,entertainment,all inclusive & so much to do. Will definitely be going again!! The only complaint,it goes too quickly!!

The food, drinks activities and entertainment were excellent but the accommodation was really poor. Our roon was small and the mattresses should have been binned years ago. We'd have liked to go back but couldn't face sleeping on those beds again.

Potters is excellent and in many ways far outstrips other holiday outlets such as warners. I can't fault it but one thing we have noticed has gone as part of cost cutting and that's the live resident band in the theater. The entertainment is still top notch but it would be good to see some tribute bands playing there

Potters Hopton is an amazing resort, so many activities, Plenty of areas to chill. The food is amazing and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Potters caters for all ages. The rooms, bungalows and chalets are lovely with super housekeeping, nothing is too much trouble for all guests. Plenty of parking areas.

Fantastic stress busting family break. Very convivial staff & easy access to all facilities. Very relaxing accommodation & activities.

Absolutely fantastic weekend. The food is great and all the staff are so nice. The entertainment us superb.

We loved our short stay at Potters. The entertainment was absolutely fantastic. The food was plentiful and excellent, and the all inclusive bars were right up my street and the wife’s. Can’t wait to go again.

The staff are superb they work non stop to keep you happy, this December 15th for a week will be our 6th time this year excellent every time

My wife Vicki and I stayed at Potters Resorts Hopton-on-Sea (24th November, Monday–Friday for Christmas Week), and it truly became one of the most meaningful holidays of our lives. I’m terminally ill, and our hope was simply to make cherished memories together—Potters helped us do that in ways we will never forget.

From the moment we arrived, the staff felt less like staff and more like lifelong friends. Their warmth, kindness, and humour lifted us throughout our stay. The food was excellent, the entertainment spectacular—easily West End standard—and the whole resort sparkled with festive magic.

There’s never a dull moment at Potters. Games, quizzes, and activities filled our days: rock climbing, shooting, snooker, archery, dance classes, crafts—you name it, we tried it. And of course, the legendary bingo. Jo B mentioned how much the winnings were going to be and had the audience shout “How much?” Then she would repeat the amount and the whole audience would shout back, “Oooh, that’s nice!” It was absolutely brilliant and had everyone laughing together.

Emily gave us some breathtaking musical performances, and Jack and James are without question the funniest comedians and entertainers we have ever met. The dancers and performers were outstanding—full of energy, precision, and heart—and the Opera Boys delivered world-class vocals that lifted the whole room. The entertainment team at Potters is truly exceptional.

A huge thank you to James R Hearne, Jack, Emily, Sion, Jo B, Aaron Bolton, and the unforgettable Buzby. These amazing people went above and beyond to make our stay—and Vicki’s birthday—extraordinary. The impromptu show they put on in the Garden Bar for her birthday was one of those magical moments we will treasure forever.

We stayed in a Hotel Deluxe room, which was absolutely amazing—beautiful, classy, spacious, and perfect for a relaxing and luxurious Christmas week.

To everyone at Potters: thank you for the joy, the kindness, the laughter, and the memories. You’ve given us moments we will carry in our hearts always.

Can’t praise Potters enough…it is definitely our ‘happy place’. You can do as much or as little as you wish. There are activities for all tastes and abilities and the shows are most definitely West End standard. Food is plentiful and with all tastes catered for: indeed, if you have any food allergies or intolerances, you just need to speak to the chef on arrival and you will have a personalised menu. All staff, without exception, go above and beyond to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. We have stayed at both Hopton on Sea and Five Lakes and love both

The great thing we found was everything was on tap entertainment brilliant all day long nice walks if you want food no complaints from us service excellent staff excellent drinks great good brands rooms very good clean all facilities in them you need anything else they will you need they will cover we’ve been a few times and will definitely return observation will people park properly so to accommodate others.thanks again for a great time.

We are currently staying at five lakes so thought I would submit my review whilst in situ.
This is our first stay at Potters, I have know many family and friends who have stayed at this resorts and the Hopton resort in the passed twenty or so years and all were very positive.
My thoughts;
Food:
Breakfast = excellent.
Lunch = average to poor.
Dinner = average.
Frontline Staff = excellent.
Amenities = not great.
Activities = great.
Accommodation = average.
Surroundings = very good.
Management = sympathetic but ineffective if you have any issues that require immediate resolution.
Entertainment = The young staff work incredibly hard, Saturday night the quality was very good, otherwise it’s very amateurish.
Value for money = sadly no.
In my opinion Potters is overrated and overpriced. I would not return as there are better value and options at Warners or abroad.
Overall in my opinion there are many returning customers, we spoke with many during our stay however the general consensus is standards / skimping has crept in, small changes make the difference, the devil, as they say, is in the detail.
We loved the staff and had an enjoyable weekend but the cost did not justify the stay.

Potters at Hopton on Sea it has a lovely atmosphere very clean and the staff can’t do enough for you. I can’t wait till the next time I go.

We recently stayed for a weekend stay in one of the bungalows which was very comfortable and spotlessly clean
We are crown green bowlers from Cheshire so it was lovely to play indoors
We had a lovely table which was upstairs in the dining hall which looked spectacular the variety of food and service was incredible considering how busy it was
As for the entertainment you could not have got better if you went to a Westend show it was fantastic and I have no idea how many costume changes they did per show
There was always something going on all day with quizzes etc I only wish we could have a Potters in Cheshire

Staff so efficient and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Food absolutely fantastic. Chalets lovely. Very comfortable beds!!

We have been several times this year with friends, with family, and we took our grandchildren can’t fault it and each time we go we have a fantastic time looking forward to the next one

Staff outstanding, fabulous food, the entertainment & shows are fantastic, activities all included in the price. Beach is a stones throw away.

From start to finish our holidays have always been special. All the staff have been wonderful from the cleaning team ( very important) to the entertainment and restaurant personnel it’s Teriffic. Thank you Potters

Always something to do at Potters. What i look forward to is not cooking for 3 or 4 days.
