Ordered plants arrived in good time but the box was unfortunately a bit squashed during transit, resulting in the plants being damaged .. I informed “Sarah Raven” & they immediately arranged for replacements to be sent.. I am delighted with their service & would definitely use them again..

The plants took 5 days to arrive from…

The plants took 5 days to arrive from dispatch, which I don't think is acceptable for this sort of product. They were decidedly droopy on arrival and one of them wasn't a great specimen to start with. I watered them and have now planted them, so we'll see. Delivery delays would put me off ordering again.

Awful AI customer service and no plants!

Ordered plants in February, with an expected dispatch date of early April. A few weeks later, got an email confirming they would be sent 10 April. All great so far, except they haven’t arrived. Tracker says they will now be delivered in May which is far too late. When I try to contact them their god awful AI just opens a ticket, which I have yet to get a response from 3 days later. I just want a refund and to never use this company again.

Great customer service

Order not gen dispatched yet.. disappointed!

Disappointed! Nothing worse than buying something 10/04 because ‘delivered in 5 working days’ doesn’t get delivered and when you chase the tracking turns out it’s not even being dispatched until the end of the month…. And no one could even. Be bothered to send a message. Shame thought this was a reliable company and my previous review recognised this! Why lie nothing worse than being deceived and then having to deal with AI as your help!

Sent my second order this season

I’ve Sent my second order this season, after having a good experience first time.
So this last order was much larger. 10 days has passed, and all I’ve had is seeds, and 3 very pathetic, small, sickly snowstorm penstermen. No dahlias arrived, ordered 36, and they said they would be dispatched in 3 days. Ha bloody ha. Snowstorm was meant to be sent end of may, which would have made them much better plants. Other plants should have been delivered before the Penstermen, but no sign of them. For such a good name, the service is terrible.
Evri, are also renowned for being cheap and unreliable. I’d like my dahlias soon, so I can plant them up, otherwise you can have the whole damn lot back, and I’ll have a full refund. A contract is a contract, and you’re not complying.
I’ve just looked up on “track my order”
My order was nearly £250, which for me personally is a big chunk of money. Every single Dahlia is out of stock, waiting for the next delivery. If you haven’t got the stock, don’t take the orders…… not rocket science. I’ve got my first lot of dahlias from my previous order, all potted up, so they will so far ahead of my awaited delivery. On the website, it said they would be dispatched within 3 days, so that was rubbish. Very unhappy. If they are second rate tubers, I will be wanting to get a refund. Come on Sarah Raven. Run a business that we can rely on, and you can be proud of…

Really bad service

Really bad service, I will not be buying with Sarah Raven again. There are better suppliers who are smaller and more worth the money. Didn't get my dhalia order or sweetpeas on time, delayed or got lost in the post - slow refund process as the dhalias then became out of stock. REALLY frustrating and meant to be a well known supplier.

Seeds do not come when promised

Seeds do not come when promised. I ordered cosmos seeds that were supposed to be despatched within 5 working days and 20 days later they are only now in transit. Every day lost from sowing makes a huge difference this time of year. I also ordered sweet pea seeds in January to Winter sow them so that they would have a good root system by Spring and they didn't arrive till April. This information was not explained at time of order. Will not be ordering from them again

Seed shortfall.

Packet of 50 'Friggitello' pepper seeds actually contained 46 - a shortfall of 8%. Have to wait now to see if I get 100% germination. Disappointing, especially after a week-long delivery time - and I paid 100% of the required costs, not 92%.

Disappointed

I've ordered from Sarah Raven several times over the years as always drawn to the vast variety of plants/seeds etc. Unfortunately as each year goes past the Customer service is drastically getting worse. When delayed orders finally arrived things are missing which results in chasing through their ridiculous Chat Bot which forwards onto a human. You have to wait 2 days for EACH reply which is so stupid and all I can say is there to build even more frustration for the customer. If you as a company clearly have a lot of customer service issues get more people in to deal with it at least! Requests for refunds are ignored too. I will not use this company going forward due to these issues....Sarah Raven if you are reading this yourself you need to sort your company out.

Repair hidden

I ordered a large ceramic dish/birdbath which I have now discovered was damaged and repaired - the repair covered up with paint matching the glaze. Contacted them but no response - dodgy outfit

Sarah Raven is a botanist and a good one unfortunately she is not a business woman. I have ordered many times over the years and it is a real hit and miss experience. Admiring her knowledge I have persisted .However as most previous comments I have had a terrible time yet again this time over ordering sweet peas and an obelisk. Which has finally broken the camels back! I was told when ordering in March that the obelisk would arrive in 3 days . After many abortive requests trying too contact I have had 2 actual reply’s but no delivery .The communication as people here have stated is appalling you can get no clear person to person contact on what is happening and I have several times asked for a cancellation and been ignored on an order for over £100.00 . After many years of disrespect as a customer I have had enough and I shall never order from her again.

Sadly our order was eventually…

Sadly our order was eventually cancelled, as it apparently couldn't be fulfilled.
We received no updates for weeks on our order, and with limited options to contact Sarah Raven team (no tel. number) had to rely on their chatbot experience, which was v.poor. If there's no info for the chatbot to access and offer, then you simply get pushed to 'check your order status', ours was always "order being fulfilled".
In the end we ask the chatbot to escalate our order and to seek an update. It was only then that the chatbot became useful. 7 weeks after ordering, and then escalating in week 6, we received an automated email to say our order was cancelled. Not great sadly. Very poor implementation of technology, which clearly isn't linked to stock control, shipping etc.
We will continue to try and be customers, but won't use the service again for at least 6 months, hoping processes and systems improve.......
