A company hiding behind its existence…
A company hiding behind its existence in South Africa and NOT acting on behalf of its UK business employing it.
Absolute shambles of a business, contract should be cancelled.
I have had a complaint running since early 2025 and then really into the groove from August 2025.
Staff fail to understand their own complaints procedure and do not comply with it. Responses are negative and try to place the onus on the customer.
I have been due compensation and trying to obtain it is laughable. I provided an incorrect bank number by one digit and their response is "it has been processed and cannot be recalled or amended" despite me advisng them of correct details. Absolute nonsense.
A complaint against the payments team has also been lodged due to their incompetence. Last response was 30.1.26 with "Thank you for your patience while this is reviewed" - how long does it take?
A different complaints handler every time an email is sent. No one will take individual ownership of complaints. They will not even provide the name of any senior staff - shocking. No contact numbers within the UK.
Now telling me a payment was sent on 2nd March 2026 and that from an email of 24th March a payment would be received by the end of that week. Neither has been received and a "deadlock" response now received. They clearly have no idea.
I have now referred to CCW - Consumer Council for Water to try and resolve.
Other reviews offer the same negative feedback.
An absolute embarrasment to the business community
STEER WELL CLEAR OF SES BUSINESS WATER AND ITS CALL CENTRE/ADMINISTRATION CENTRE bacause they are both simply not up to job.

I was extremely impressed with the way that Zubair handled my situation from my first contact with him. He understood my position and dealt with it accordingly. He called me back when he said that he would and even called me back again when I was busy to talk. I’d give him 10/10 for customer care and the world would be a better place if more people were like him.
