BYD value for money
Purchasing this vehicle was an easy choice as it met all my requirements. The service was good and all my questions were answered clearly.

Andrew at BYD was fantastic
Andrew at BYD was fantastic, he went above and beyond to provide information of BYD and what car would be most suitable to my needs. It’s our first part electric car so we were blind but he filled us with confidence and we agreed to the sale thanks to his great offer making sure our budget was matched. Collection of car went very smoothly and extra added touch of a red bow on collection was lovely. Everyone at BYD Cardiff has been great with the transition into my new vehicle and the part exchange. Poor vehicle preparation
Poor vehicle preparation. Collection was arranged for and vehicle outside on arrival. An hour later we were told it was ready to find it had moved and placed on charge, now at 55-60%. The vehicle should have been ready to go. Looking inside, there were plastic zip bags left inside on the seat and in the glove box, soft plastic light anti scratch covers still fitted, that should have been removed. Car was dusty and water marks all over the outside and the inside dash was filthy with a brown dust all over it. Same brown dust all under the bonnet and the screen wash was at its lowest just covering the pump. I wonder if the PDI was completed as there were still stickers on the wheels. Staff however were friendly enough and offered to go through the controls, which I declined.

Highly recommended.
Everyone was very helpful and explained everything thoroughly. They 'phoned me up a couple of days after I purchased the vehicle to ask if I had any queries. I have already recommended them to my brother-in-law who is looking for a vehicle.

Lack of response from customer services
The order and collection went very well, but a fault has occurred with the car and I have chatted to a bot and emailed. After two weeks, no appointment has been made to rectify the situation. Somebody needs to sort out customer services.

Worst new car experience ever
Worst new car experience ever. Arrived to collect my vehicle and discovered the wrong number plates had been fitted. Being a Sunday I was told they were in the parts department which was locked and they did not have access. New plates were to be made only to find out they didn't know the password to the computer. After a 2hr delay, finally drove off in my new car. I queried if the car had been registered in the wrong plates and was assured it was just a fitting error and not to worry. My log book arrived 2 days later and I discovered I had been driving around in a car that was not registered with the DVLA on the number plates fitted to it and also not taxed in the number plates fitted to it. The after sales experience with BYD was nothing short of a shambles, one excuse after another. Only 1 person seemed to know what they were doing. After 3 weeks of administrative pain, I finally decided enough was enough and returned the vehicle and obtained a refund. Will not be returning.

Excellent service
Excellent service, ordered my Byd at the end of Feb and picked up on the 25th march.
Did have issues with the internets and the app for the car but one phone call to them and was sorted out in a day. Deff worth checking out Byd sinclair
