I just wanted to share how amazing is Sylv as a Slimming World consultant. Sylv creates a such a welcoming and supportive group atmosphere every week, which really makes a difference. As, at the start , I felt nervous to start Slimming World showing my weigh ins every week but the more I went in and when I got to know the group I felt confident and determined how much weight I want to lose for couple of months . And now in total I reached my 4stone goal and another 5 stone to go or more …
Sylv energy is infectious, and I always leave feeling motivated and positive. Sylv has been fantastic at giving practical advice, especially with meal ideas, and they always celebrate everyone's successes, big or small. Thanks so much Sylv to their encouragement, I've been able to stay on track and feel so much better about my journey ahead . Like hopefully , ending up super slim . So , I can fit in my wetsuit for when I go bodyboarding. And so I don’t feel uncomfortable when I’m abroad on holidays as always feel uncomfortable with my weight when im wearing my swim costumes . And ever since I lost weight I’m less sweating when walking my dog and abroad .

Sylv is loving , caring always lifts me up when I put on . Sylv is funny , bubbly and always motivates me . Always there for me and the group and my dad .

My consultant Pauline at shanklin isle of wight is amazing. her help and encouragement has benifited me no end. im now at target . I wouldnt have achieved this without Pauline's help and support from the group.

Rejoined slimming world again but this time with a different group with Sylv at st marks church on a Thursday morning in Weston super mare, My journey has been a slow and steady one with ups and downs over the last Two years. Sylv has been nothing but supportive not just to myself but all her members understanding the difficulties of having a life and wanting to stay on plan but also drawing a line under it. Group is interesting with lots of tips and idea from member's but also it’s fun and have a laugh.
Definitely would recommend Sylv as now I am a target member with 3 stone weight loss still go every week to weigh been keeping this weight off and staying in target the last 9months.

I’ve been attending the Chellaston, Derby Slimming World Group for over 9 years now. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, it’s the best. Liz Foster is the Consultant of the Friday morning 9am and 10:30 groups, and she is a wonderful Consultant. I love going, I’ve been in target for over 8 years now and it’s all thanks to this group and the fabulous members who support each other through all eventualities. It’s a fab group 👌

I have been a member of Slimming World since 2024. I was recommended to join SW by my GP as a result of slipping from pre diabetes to bordering on fully blown. As a male in my late sixties the thought of joining what I perceived to be a female dominated 'weight loss' group didn't exactly fill me with joy. However I am so, so pleased that I took that first step towards a healthier, fitter me and pleased to say that I have lost over 4 stones during my time as a member. The huge bonus is that I have reversed my diabetes and am now in the 'normal' range.
Along the way I found my confidence again to work on my fitness at the local gym and increase my playing time at Walking Football, something else I can highly recommend!
I attend SW group at Congresbury in North Somerset; the group is extremely friendly and we support one another along the way.
Our consultant Sylv Rubery, assisted by Lorri, is absolutely amazing. Sylv is genuinely interested in the members and guides us through our individual journeys without being judgmental at any stage and always there to encourage and give advice. I would highly recommend Slimming World to everyone but would particularly reach out to other men who, like me, would never think of it as an obvious choice when faced with the challenge of getting healthier through shedding the pounds!
It's the best decision I made in this regard and much better value and more sustainable than other expensive weight loss aids that are out there.

Ive been to a few different groups, but none of them match the warmth, support and understanding of the brilliant consultant Liz Foster, also the support of the group itself.
Ive been close to giving up due to bad health, but Liz has been there and helped me so much through it all. I would never have gotten through it without her x.

Tuesday mornings in Congresbury.

My husband and I joined the Killamarsh group with Charmaine Venus last August. We were made to feel part of the group straight away, the support we have received has been phenomenal. Nothing is too much trouble. Consequently to date my husband has lost 6.5 stones and is no longer taking his diabetic medication and I have lost 7 stones. We don't normally do reviews,but such excellence deserves recognition.

I can honestly say after trying several groups near to me. The half hour drive to this fabulous Chellaston SW Group, with it's amazing Consult Liz Foster and her fabulous social team is well worth it! I have shed around 3st 8lb. Got to my target. And can proudly say I am a now a Diamond Member, all with the help of this totally amazing woman Liz!! She really does go above and beyond for her members. Each week is fun packed, lots of laughs, very informative and inspirational and such a warm welcome to all who come through the doors. I love Friday mornings. 💯☺️

From the moment I stepped into my group I felt welcomed and supported. Not only by my consultant Liz Foster but the whole group. Liz creates an atmosphere of support and understanding from the very first moment.I have lost 3 stone 8.5 pounds since joining and haven’t felt this good both health wise and in myself.

I am new to slimmingWorld and I can’t praise it enough. I feel better and i am conscious by what I’m eating, but I don’t feel like I’m dieting. Hannah our coach is so personable, she is great with every one of all ages. She has motivated me to get more active and be aware of what i eat, but to also enjoy the slimming world experience. I am a member of Denise D Robinsons Tuesday morning Selly Oak group. Denise is an amazing consultant and supports everyone through the highs and lows of their slimming journeys, nothing is too much for her, she is very supportive.
I absolutely love the slimming world plan because it promotes healthy eating and as an older woman this is very important to me. I am also vegetarian and it caters for that too.
If you want to loose weight safely and healthily then slimming world is definitely the way to do it.

Want a big shout out for my consultant Tracey Carter, Tamworth Masonic Rooms group. She is so supportive of all members, never judging and always inspiring us on our journeys. She is a true ambassador for Slimming World.

The leaders are trained to support you in a way that helps you to get to a weight that you choose. There is no pressure only honest, helpful support. The groups are friendly and full of helpful experience and advice. Everything is geared towards helping you to maintain a healthy lifestyle rather than being on a diet.

I’ve been a member of Sylv Rubery’s Wednesday morning group in Congresbury for nearly 5 years now. I enjoy the way slimming world promotes healthy eating as a lifestyle choice and not a “quick fix” diet plan. In group we discuss ideas for meal plans, coping mechanisms around events or feelings that may sabotage our weight loss. The meetings are run to a strict time (half an hour tops) so there’s no waffling on! However if I’ve ever felt like I’ve needed more support Sylv makes herself available and is always quick to respond to private messages outside of the group. I have complete faith in Sylv knowing she has lost and kept off a huge amount of weight and believes in the plan wholeheartedly, this makes such a difference as she understands the struggles that slimmers have around food. She has a passion that shows not only in the slimming world plan but for all her members to succeed and reach their goals - the group is friendly and there’s never any judgement only support if along your personal journey your having a bit of a wobble and feeling off that week. Slimming world as a company are forever evolving and embracing new ideas providing tools and information to aid us to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
I look forward to checking in with my group every week and think I deserve this little bit of “me time” to make my life better!

I love the support I get from Angela at King Robert, Stirling and the fun and friendly atmosphere from all at group. From the 1st nervous walk through the door , I was welcomed. Hints and tips and tasty recipes ideas along with lots of laughs are really worth staying to group for.
