Sweet itch rug for my older mare - it's a great design with extra details like good padding on the withers and chest bone, double tail guard. It's breathable and shower proof. Made all the difference to her this summer. I might get a second one in the sale!

great rug and helpful advice
helpful advice over the phone on what products to buy and very happy with the rug. we got the sheath cover to protect banded sarcoids from flies. we needed to add an extra piece of velcro to get rid of some gaps by the stifle area but we are very happy over all and has meant our boy doesn't need to be stuck on box rest.

Quick delivery and quality made. I brought the size that would fit my horse but the 1 night he wore it, it slipped around and he became blind. Found him in the morning covered in sweat and panicking so he will not be wearing it again.

I am so sorry for any problems with the item.
Having checked, I can see that you have ordered size L - being for a larger horse wearing a full size bridle fastened on the lower holes. As you know, this item must be tight.
Can I suggest that you send photos showing the product on the horse? Side view with the head up/down eating from the floor and another looking at the horse face on. We can advise on easy to follow alterations which should resolve any fitting issues.
Whilst we cannot guarantee fit - and some items can be moved in use accidentally - improving it by way of altering it is easy to do and we can offer full advice showing you how to do this.

Great for sweet itch
We’ve tried various sweet itch rugs for our pony but none really work as there are always gaps. Saw this advertised & decided to give it a try. Fantastic as fits close to the body & covers him completely. A bit tight to get off over his head but he’s getting used to it!
Love that you get 2 ‘patches’ in case of any rips, although we haven’t had any which is great as he’s usually a rug ripper! Not the cheapest but worth every penny.
