Stone Warehouse was established over 18 years ago as the online retailer of a large family-owned aggregate company that has been supplying specialist decorative aggregates for over 150 years. We supply the largest range of quality decorative aggregates online in the United Kingdom.
We source products from the UK, Europe and Asia and from our strategically placed production facilities we deliver competitively priced decorative stones nationally. We offer single and multiple pallet consignments and can quote for larger orders delivered with a crane / Hi-Ab or tipped loose loads from either dockside or direct from source. Standard deliveries are made on a curtain sided lorry and offloaded using a rear tail lift and a manual or electric pump truck. (Delivery Information)
Purchase high quality Gravel & Chippings, Pebbles & Cobbles, Slate & Paddlestones, Rockery & Boulders, Garden Products & Accessories, and Paving & Edging Products, or look through the Clearance & Seasonal range, delivered directly to site from the UK’s premium decorative aggregate supplier.
Prices include delivery and VAT. Simply enter your delivery postcode into the product page and the pallet availability, samples and delivered prices will be displayed for delivery within 2-3 working days. Next Day deliveries are also available for orders placed before 1pm at an additional charge.
Many decorative aggregates are used in water features and ponds so please look for the ‘Fish Friendly’ badge in the product information tab to confirm your chosen stone will not affect the water Ph, protecting your fish and other aquatic life from harm.
Stone Warehouse is committed to Carbon Footprint reduction by using recycled pallets and packaging as well as offering a range of by-product slate aggregates typically delivered direct to reduce product delivery mileage.

The delivery drivers are awful
The delivery drivers are awful! Disrespectful and rude.
The estimated time of delivery changed 5 times because they had to stop for refreshments and lunch!!!
My experience was a complete joke!

Poor poor poor.
Three of the polar white bags were only half full. They were also stacked on a pallet which had nails sticking through so therefore some of the bags were pierced and stone was on the road after being delivered and when I went to pick the bags up they fell apart therefore going everywhere instead of where they should have been. Not a particularly good first experience.

Reasonable delivery time and good…
Reasonable delivery time and good quality/value cornish slate paddlestones. The order went through very smoothly and I was given regular updates on delivery.
I can hopefully do justice with these for my pond waterfall.

Absolutely fantastic experience
Absolutely fantastic experience. Went straight to the source rather than through a retailer who add massive profit margins and wanted close to triple what I paid. £135 for a bulk bag of Blue Slate Paddlestones 50-150mm. Most retailers nearby wanted at least double that and a fortune to deliver with a crane lorry. The stone was exactly as described with 1 absolutely massive random bit which I actually wanted anyway and quite a few very large bits but the vast majority was exactly in spec for the size ordered and of course there is always small bits mixed it which sink to the bottom but this is standard for most stone and was no more than I'd expect. The delivery service the company used was always great, delivered on the requested date with accurate and up to date tracking starting from a couple days prior to the delivery and the gentleman who delivered it was incredibly cheerful and pleasant. Very helpful, dropped the bag exactly where I wanted and took care around my car. Nice to see such a positive delivery driver for a change. Overall I'll definitely recommend this company to others and will be using them in the future for any future projects. Great stuff! Thank you!

excellent customer service from Patrick, but disappointing delivery reliability and product accuracy.
Extra credit to Patrick, who was extremely helpful and responsive when delivery problems arose. His customer service was excellent.
Unfortunately, one star deducted for the delivery service in Yorkshire, which was completely unreliable. Do not expect your order to arrive within the advertised 48 hours in this area.
Another star deducted for the inaccurate product description. Both the website and my order specified "Rockery 100–200mm", but the label on the delivered pallet stated "50–200mm". Indeed, a significant number of stones were between 50 and 100mm, which was not what I ordered.
Overall, excellent customer service from Patrick, but disappointing delivery reliability and product accuracy.

We do apologise for the delays in your delivery, we understand how frustrating it can be. As we use a third-party haulier we, unfortunately, cannot guarantee delivery dates as there are often variables out of our control. The majority of our deliveries occur on time without a problem but delays do, unfortunately, occur.
Concerning the product description, we do describe the Rockery as 100-200mm though we explicitly say in the product description that variances are possible and measurements can be between 50-200mm depending on the rocks' dimensions. After consulting the Proof of Delivery photo of your order we believe that the vast majority of the stones fall within the stated gradations.
We do apologise that the product didn't meet your expectations and the inconvenience caused by the delays in the delivery of your shipment. I thank you personally for the kind words on our customer service and hope that you continue to use Stone Warehouse.
