Repairs are a joke
Repairs are a joke, trying to complain or escalate to a stage 2 to be able to get a housing ombudsman to intervene is also a joke. They are quick to take your money and then do their best to forget you exist within their company. Asked to speak to the head boss, got nowhere. AVOID AVOID AVOID. KITCHEN CUPBOARD AND LEAKS MORE STRESS THAN STAYING HERE IS WORTH. More stress than anything else!!
Awful response rate
Have followed up with an issue for over two years and back and fourth still do not have an answer. Accounts reply straight away as they want our money but macitence are radio silence, I’m still waiting for a reply to an email I sent a month ago and have sent 3 follow up emails. Very poor and do not recommend.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Together Housing for their outstanding out-of-hours service.
They attended my father’s property in Cambridge Gardens, Darwen within an hour of reporting a safeguarding issue where the door would not lock. An engineer arrived promptly and carried out a temporary repair to ensure the property was fully secured, while arrangements are being made to order and fit a new locking mechanism.
The speed of response and the seriousness with which the safeguarding concern was treated was truly reassuring. Knowing my father’s home was made secure so quickly provided real peace of mind for both of us.
Fantastic service, professional, prompt, and highly appreciated.

I’m disappointed that I have to wait…
I’m disappointed that I have to wait until Monday for a technician to repair the oven and cooker, as they’re both malfunctioning. It’s surprising that this isn’t treated as an emergency. The company could improve by addressing these situations with a greater sense of urgency.
The reason for a one star rating is…Poor 1 to 1 conversation with the customer.
The reason for a one star rating is because i suffer from copd and have a ceiling water leak in the kitchen.
i contacted this company and was given a 18day responce for the issue. Because i have copd the damp, and mould on the ceiling causes my resporatory breathing issues to become worse, the telephonist was rude because i asked questions about trying to ask for an earlier date to look at the problem.Very unsatisfied with the issue. They should ask if the repair may cause any health issues .There was a point she said i will discontinue the call...because i asked questions i was unsure of, and she thought i was being unreasonable. Terrible way to deal with clients.
Very good helpful staff at all levels, good property management geared to individual needs
Some problems with on line web site application but since then everything has been really good. Helpline staff so helpful and genuinely caring. Anthea the housing manager of where my Mum is getting a flat has been wonderful! Property is ideal, well looked after and perfect for my elderly mum at her stage of life. So many thanks Together Housing!
Riddled with Asbestos
Constant noise from grenfell type cladding removal and asbestos removal works decibel levels through the roof the whole block of flats is riddled with Asbestos a health hazard

Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless! I've had 3 different "work men" out to sort a boiler which isnt giving hot water or heating and not one of them has sorted the issue! So I am again sat here this weekend waiting in for the 4th one to turn up! I cannot be in "24 hours" for their "emergency" appointments so I have to wait in on a weekend! I've got a ceiling full of mould and its bowing and they still think its leaking and still havent been out! This was 3 weeks ago. I have two small children...they know this and still leaving us with no hot water or heating. Every guy who's come has said something different to me and then reported back to these with something completely different....telling them they dont know the problem or the problem is fixed! If I didnt report these problems id be in trouble....but these just dont do the repairs anyway!! I was suppose to have a gas engineer come to do a gas safety check yesterday between 8am and 4pm and he didnt turn up! If I hadn't been home and he turned up it would be me in bother!! This housing is absolutely disgusting with the way it deals with repairs! Its suppose to be an emergency and im still sat here 3 weeks later with no more luck in it been fixed that the 1st time they come. They're ok taking almost £600 rent on this "affordable home" but cant sort their houses out!

Useless. Been a Tennant five years and they have done next to nothing to support me. I've been harassed and abused by neighbours they don't do their job and evict them but are more than happy to tell me they'll do a reference for me to move!! Im the one being abused & harassed by a neighbour who has too many children in a 1.5 bedroom flat!

Together housing have been fantastic with me and my adult daughter. We moved into our house two years ago and from day one have been wonderful. We are both disabled and they have helped us with everything we have asked

I have been together with together housing for 7 years and I have always have had great customer service especially from my rent income officer emma austin she is so brilliant and always helpful together housing you have a brilliant rent officer so keep her and be really proud of her

I have been living with damp in almost every room down stairsin my home. plus holes in and outside as well.
Together Housing sent contractors, from Beaumonts.And they have done a fantastic job and I really do mean it.
Every single one of the those guys came in and gave it there 100 percent.
If Together Housing sent these guys out Iin the first place I don't think they would have any disrepair claims,but it has taken its toll on myself with many health issues and my daughters health too.
I'm still awaiting on there response to the level of compensation which I know I can claim from them but for me it's emotional distress that this as caused.
But for me know amount of compensation can undo the days that been that poorly in bed,due to inhaling the toxic,plus being absolutely freezing, due to the holes,in and outside as well.
I do have a number of health issues so I cannot put all the blame on the damp.
I would like to say a big thank you to Together Housing, for putting everything right.

i am at a point where i don’t know what to do other than take this to court. i was assaulted by another resident which ended up breaking my cheek bone and my jaw. i reported this to together housing and they said “she said she didn’t do it and you have no evidence” MY FACE IS THE EVIDENCE???? i’ve stopped reporting to together housing and have started reporting to the police as they actually believe me. together housing are manipulative bullies who throw any simple nice thing in your face as if it’s a curtesy when they should be kind in general seen as it’s a housing association. i had to move via transfer in january due to harassment (he pleaded guilty) and i have a better life here, it’s just a shame that it’s under together housing as i am in my mid twenties and they are making my life hell.

Just cant thank together housing enough, I was homeless for 8 months, was offered a lovely flat from day one they have been there for me decorating, carpeting and sorting me with white goods, spent hours sorting all my benefits and getting me up and running with my gas electric and water, I was at my lowest point in life after a 23yr relationship breakdown but they have given me a new lease of life and a huge smile on my face I've now got a forever home and always someone there to help me with anxiety thanks guys your all amazing

Sub contractors- are dreadful to deal with.
It is with a heavy heart that I write this review as Together Housing themselves whilst not bad, should get rid of sub contractors. I remember a good few months ago two young lads working in houses close to the bus stop I use, burping and belching at public and myself in the street, it was completely wrong and unacceptable! Then there were sub cons working on an empty house on our terrace block who were skylarking (messing around) and making comments about the music I was playing whilst I was in the shower, they were heard, and again it was completely unacceptable.
A few years ago I thought I had rats in the roof, the loft, where Together had forgotten to put insulation in five years gone since I had moved in (the men who put the insulation in a few months later confirmed there was no insulation put in at all!), I am disabled and could not and cannot get into the loft, they sent in a sub con - exterminator, he was so rude (a Scots man- with questionable manners), telling all of my neighbours that I had rats - then he told me, (quietly) that I didnt, it took him three visits, one of which was completely un-announced. Bear in mind I am the only ethnic person in this cul-de-sac of bungalows. What must my neighbours have thought?
I wish Together would look at their sub contractors and tell them that if they engage in any kinds of behaviour that are unacceptable then they would look at cancelling their contract of service at the next review - it is not on, because Together Housing are on at their tenants to behave but not their subcontractors of whom put many anti social behaviour types to shame.
Together Housing do not deserve one star but the sub cons that they use certainly do!
