Very disappointed with the ethics they use as sales people.
Been looking for adhesive and found on line from Topps exactly what I required for around £18 a 20 kg bag.
When I went to pay she was charging me £113 for 4 bags !?!?
I said that the online price was around £17.
All of a sudden it was reduced to £68!!
So £47 cheaper.
Trade or not as it doesn’t seem to matter.
You basically thought I was a novice, a dumb idiot and I’d accept the rip off price you first gave me!
Disgusting and won’t be using you guys again.

Topps Tiles clearly have a culture built around exceptional customer service and this has been evident through the multiple stores I have visited. All of their staff cannot do enough for you from the moment you walk through the doors. Exceptional for such a large business!

Went into the Newark store at the weekend and was greeted by lovely staff members especially Ben. He gave lots of good advice and helped make choosing our tiles so much easier, going above and beyond to load them up for us and helped take them to our car

Incompetent buck passing from every level of the company. Done £5k in business in one week and all I got was lip service and bs.
I've had a trade Topps account for years and year by year they have gradually got worse, their CS is as awful as it gets.
They don't encourage Traders at all, in fact everything that idiot did after he came over from Toolstation (he's already left) has penalised us. Their tiles are getting thinner and lack the quality they once had as they look at maximising profit over anything and everything.
When it comes to someone taking accountability they've failed. There's no email or office numbers for low or senior management or board members. This company buys other companies and either makes catastrophic redundancies or shuts stores for good.
Topps is bouncing along on its backside, propped up by CTD, Pro tiler tools and a few others that they haven't completely wiped out yet, plus the gullible public but mark my words, they will eventually go the way of Tile Giant.
If you're down South use Apex Grange in Dartford for Sundries, they have much better deals.

Whenever I come to the store the guys are always happy and willing to help they have a good selection of products and it’s the only place I now use for tiles and tools

I visited Topps Tiles in Shoreditch and was served by Ivan. The customer service was absolutely outstanding - I was on a tight deadline to get materials delivered and Ivan helped choose the right products and ensured they were available in the right place at the right time. The Shoreditch store has become my first choice as the customer service is always first class. Thank you!

Went into the store in Hereford. The staff were amazing. Always a warm welcome. Always happy to help. I do not have any problems with them and highly recommend to anyone looking who has a tile job to go and look at the range and help they give. They do a range of flooring aswell. They help take the products you buy to your car. With their help my kitchen looks great.

As a trade customer for over 20 years, I feel the team that changes throughout the years in any of the Bristol and Weston-super-Mare branches always maintain the same courtesies of knowing a traitor and what they want also accommodating my customers as I send them in.

Went to Top Tiles Aintree… guys in there were really helpful. Called me when tiles were ready to pick up.. I’m an amateur at this and they made everything easy for me, especially when I messed up and needed a few more tiles. Do not hesitate to go here. Will be back again no doubt. Thank you guys

Excellent instore experience

We have visited the Worcester store a couple of times to get tiles and materials for our bathroom. The staff bent over backwards to help us - the customer service couldn't be better!

Bought an acoustic wood panel only it’s not wood and arrived damaged. Posted a review on their website and had it moderated and removed. I’ll repost below and let you guess what the problem was with it.

Not actually wood, and arrived damaged.
This is not made of wood. It’s MDF with something which might be wood veneer or paper. It arrived with a a huge gash through the packaging which scratched the surface, and the ends are banged up as well. The courier dumped it and ran claiming it was signed for (it wasn’t). All in all won’t be buying anything from you [them] again.
