Total rip off company

Total rip off company. Anybody working for this organisation should be ashamed to show their face in public!
Parking meter in Swansea University Bay Campus (an absolute zit hole of a gravel car park that floods at the first sight of rain!) - meter was not functioning.
Took pictures of non-functioning meter as evidence I was unable to pay. Refused my appeal without even the slightest consideration of the circumstances. Loathsome customer service staff. You'd be better of parking in hell, rather than trust a site operated by these crooks.

This so called company is a joke!!!!

This so called company is a joke!!!!
I paid at a machine and typed my car registration and received a ticket.
several weeks later I receive a parking ticket from them stating I didn't pay??
Unfortunately I don't keep my car messy so I had thrown my ticket away.
I'll see you in court as I don't intend to pay.

Not sure who's at fault here

Not sure who's at fault here. Got a fine from TPS in Jan this year stating I'd overstayed the allowed 30 min which I was but legitimately sorting a car battery out with at Halfords Balham. A couple of weeks later I got a parking charge demand letter which I took up with Halfords Balham soon after and they rolled their eyes saying 'Not another one, We get these all the time'. After I explained I was in the store the whole time, they proceeded to sort the matter out for me. Not sure what they did but they did say that this is the last time we're going to do this for a customer in store as we're changing our policy. I told them their website says to contact the store if a parking charge letter is received.
To cut a long story short, they told me the matter's been sorted now so I came home happy that that was easy.
Today I got a Final Demand letter in the post which means the matter's not sorted!!!
Called the 24/7 Payment Line at 9:50pm and a guy answered saying I needed to call the same number office hours to speak to someone.
Went to Halfords the next day and showed them the Final Demand letter and they emailed TPS and cc'ed me. Got an email from TPS after a few hours saying Upon the request of the business, the charge had been dropped.

Terrible customer service

Terrible, this company is out to get the client, not provide a service. Half the time the ticket machines don't work, and season tickets are not available for car parks at a university where students have to park daily. Not every student has student finance or mummy and daddy paying for their parking but they are not prepared to have a season ticket.
If you forget you usually have till midnight the next day to sort it, but not on a Friday. if you haven't paid and the car park has closed for the day (remembering that you are in lectures which may end at different times) you are screwed. The best they can do is give the £40.00 reduced fine.

This company is not helpful at all and…

This company is not helpful at all and I will certainly be avoiding every car park they manage from now on that's for sure !!

I received a letter from BW Legal demanding I pay money for a parking fine I'm not even aware of.

I made them aware I have not received any parking fine through the post nor was a note on my car.

They then demanded I speak to Royal Mail and find out where my letters have gone...from 4 months ago I might add LOL

This is causing so much stress I now I'm in a mindset of just paying the ******s to keep them off my back !

They sent me a fine

They sent me a fine, despite the fact that I paid the correct fee for parking. Luckily I still have the ticket. They can shove their fine. In future any car park ticket I receive I will take a photo of it. This company are either dishonest or incompetent possibly both.

No stars are deserved

No stars are deserved. A shockingly awful so called company. Charging me for illegally parking at Halfords Balham when I was there on official business, getting my car serviced. They claimed they would cancel the charge as a gesture of goodwill. What a cheek. No apology was sent

If I could give minus stars I would

If I could give minus stars I would to this ghastly company! I paid and displayed my car parking ticket at Waterman's Art Centre, Brentford on the 27th of October 2023 and yet a week later I received a demand notice for failure to pay for the one and three quarter hour's parking. I immediately disputed this on their website with the credit card statement evidence of the correct payment on that day and now a month later I get a FINAL DEMAND notice to pay double the amount of 120 pounds with a warning that they will send their debt collectors after me! I have written back refusing to pay them a penny and said that they can try taking me to court. They should be ashamed of themselves as they are obviously incompetent or crooks!

We pre-booked a place at Long Buckby…

We pre-booked a place at Long Buckby station on 12/12/23 through the Saba app on my phone and paid £6 to park our car there while we did a return trip to Birmingham on the train from Long Buckby. A few days later we received a £40 fine for parking at Long Buckby station on 12/12 so we sent them the confirmation number of the £6 charge plus other details. Still not satisfied they have now asked for a screen shot of the parking receipt! Avoid this company, They are incompetent!

Purchased a ticket and still issued fine

ANPR car park with the provision of paying via the Ringo app or a traditional ticket machine. Bought a ticket from the machine with cash for 1 hour parking and placed on windscreen.Received a PCN two weeks later for non payment of parking charge. PCN showed I had entered and exited car park within the hour. Now like the majority of people it's very rare for me to keep a paper parking ticket. Luckily on this occasion I had put it inside my jacket pocket and was able to retrieve it to send to TPS as part of the appeal. The appeal was upheld and the parking charge cancelled, as a "gesture of goodwill". I fail to see how it was a gesture of goodwill when I had a valid ticket. Now I wanted some answers from TPS, specifically how they could issue a fine when a valid ticket was purchased. I asked them to confirm the process employed prior to sending out a fine, and that part of that process must be to check the transaction journal on the ticket machine. Bear in mind that without me retaining the ticket from the machine I would have had zero proof that I had indeed purchased a ticket and this company would have unlawfully taken £70 from me. Needless to say after 4 months and two emails there's still no reply. It's my intention to contact the British Parking Association with a complaint. How many people have been unlawfully fined and unable to prove payment because they have used cash in a ticket machine and discarded the ticket. I can't be the only one. Disgraceful.

Shambles of a company!!!

I hope those who employ/work for 'Total Parking Solutions' (TPS)...can sleep well at night, knowing that they're scamming and exploiting hardworking individuals for money.

I am a new mum, currently on maternity leave.
My friend invited me out for a birthday treat, which ironically is the date TPS issued me with this parking fine (happy birthday to me).
We sat in the Costa Coffee shop (which is situated on the parking site) for the duration of parking.

They target and catch people out by using inadequate (not obvious) signage!

I tried to appeal the fine, but let's face it...TPS had absolutely no intention of approving it- so i don't know why i even bothered wasting my time.

I am now expected to pay this utterly stupid fine at christmas. Finances are already tight due to being on maternity leave... so thanks for that!
That's money that should be going towards my daughter's first Christmas and not into TPS's money grabbing pockets!!

It also comes as no surprise that TPS only have 1.1/1.2 star reviews on google/ Trust Pilot.
If it was an option to score this company a big, fat 0- I absolutely would!
It just baffles me how they are allowed to continue to operate and pray on individuals for money.

I will NEVER visit Binnacle way retail park again, and I will endeavour to share and make my experience with TPS known!

WHAT A BUNCH OF CON ARTISTS.

I paid for my ticket and they are demanding £130!

I parked at Wicksteed Park in August and accidentally entered the registration number of my other car as we had only just got our new one.

I received a letter telling me I hadn't paid, so I immediately wrote back to them, sending a photocopy of the parking ticket and explaining what had happened.

Then several weeks later I received a letter from dcbl bailiffs demanding £130 or they would advise their client to take legal action against me.

I emailed DCBL and Wicksteed explaining the situation again and sending a photo of the ticket and of my bank statement showing the payment went out my account. I then called dcbl and told them again what had happened. I received an email immediately afterwards from the bailiffs telling me that their client said I had to pay the fine as I hadn't appealed within 28 days.

I have emailed Wicksteed again - who initially said they couldn't do anything as I needed to deal with the parking company, and dcbl again, pointing out that I won't be paying a £130 for parking that I can clearly prove I paid for.

Now I have read a few of these reviews I can see that they are just a bunch of crooks.

I have since been told by Wicksteed that TPS had told me I could pay £20 as it was human error. In fact they have never contacted me to say any such thing. They clearly lie to their clients to try to make themselves not look so bad!

The Dogs - the Hyenas of our Society

A 99% negative score on TrustPilot is commendable! However I have to agree with Martin Morrey's review of 22 Dec 2022 - Don't Blame Total Parking Solutions, blame the landowner employing them! However this doesn't excuse the incompetence of TPS. They issued me, as the registered owner of my car, with a Parking Charge Notice for £25 after my wife, who borrowed my car and took her 85 year old mother, who's blind, to a walk-in clinic at a Portsmouth Hospital. She parked in a Disabled Parking Bay with a valid Disabled Parking Badge, displayed on the dashboard. TPS's ANPR camera which doesn't monitor or factor in the Disabled Parking Area, clocked her for NOT paying, despite the NHS Hospital's website confirming that Disabled Parking is Free! It's taken me some considerable man hours to appeal this Parking Charge, so far!!. However the real problem here is the Executive Board of this NHS Trust, who are too bone idle and posh to manage the parking of their own patients and there own car park. Instead they pass it down to the dogs, the hyenas of our society, like Total Parking Solutions which is run by some Italian Sprogiativo from Piza. The Penalty Charge of £25 is trivial compared to a Penalty Notice which is normally £75, but takes TPS 35 days to process an appeal and really makes you wonder what they do all day when the evidence is so overwhelmingly against them. Half of you says, just pay the Charge and rid these leaches from ones life, but the other half says NO! why let these parasites win? I have a feeling there will be more to come in this review

Set up a recurring payment without Authorisation

I am assisting my son in trying to recover payment taken in error (to say the least).

Last year he purchased a one year pass for the college car park. It was a one off payment and is listed as such on both his banking transactions and parking account.

That pass expired and he left the college.

Then this year he received an invoice for another permit.

He phoned immediately to let them know he hadn't applied for one and ask them not to take payment. They told him it had to be dealt with via email.

He emailed immediately.

Then they took payment. He emailed again. Two weeks on and no reply, we have tried again emailing today.

We have now established they have set up a recurring card payment this time, with no authorisation, and will not communicate to ensure it's cancelled. His parking account confirms he has neither applied for nor been given the new permit that they charged him for (not that he wanted it).

Scummy Scammers

Typical SCAMMING private parking company, I work within this industry and this company do not play a fair game, they leave their carparks open after the establishment they're working for closes, do not light up their signage then want to give anyone a parking ticket based on the "clear" terms... The only part on the sign that's clear is "1 hour free" disgusting game they're playing. IF YOU ARE A COMPANY LOOKING FOR A PRIVATE PARKING TEAM, THIS IS NOT IT, YOU WILL LOOSE CUSTOMERS!!!

This company lies to cover its own…

This company lies to cover its own incompetence. My wife, who is an NHS Doctor has had long running battles with them over ridiculously given PCN's at her place of work. They lie constantly and their MD, 'Tito' is something else!!! Saying that, the real culprits in all of this is the NHS Trusts who decide to use them. That is just unfathomable. Why would an employer who struggles to recruit good staff treat their current staff with such disdain by using a set of cowboys like TPS?

I’m in a band and the local council wouldn’t allow any parking outside the pub we were playing on a Saturday afternoon. We parked in Halfords as the store closed at 5pm and we’d be gone by 8pm. We all received penalty notices from TPS for £70. One hour stay only at all times? Ridiculous

Would give a rating of zero

Would give a rating of zero if possible. Had an appointment at Pinderfields Hospital with a Consultant. We always leave in plenty of time to allow for parking. I am a blue badge holder and wheelchair bound. I cannot walk one step unaided. Both disabled car parks full but was more than happy to pay for parking. Drove into their huge public car park but no available space anywhere. People parked on double yellow lines in the car park and up on grass verges. We parked on grass on the road into the hospital and displayed my blue badge. We parked safely without obstruction and decided this was the best thing to do as I did not want to miss my appointment. I was disgusted to receive a car parking fine in the post. They quoted double red lines on the road but we were not on the road. Disgusting firm as there was nowhere to park that day. They have rejected my appeal. Also, since issuing the fine they have placed cones on the grass where we parked but they were not there on the day. Think it is time for someone to take action against this money grabbing firm.
