Mums bucket list hot air balloon
Hot air ballooning has always been a bucket list must for my mum and due to cancer she had very little time left to be able to experience it. I booked with Virgin which was very straight forward but due to hospitalisation we were unable to attend the first booking. I contacted customer services in the hope they maybe able to help us find another date and was connected with Lynn. Lynn understanding the situation, importance and urgency was an absolute superstar and helped me rebook a number of times. We finally got to go hot air ballooning last week and it is a memory we will always cherish. Thank you Virgin and thank you Lynn, you really made the whole customer services experience seamless and so this feedback is for you.

Hi Julie,
You clearly passed the patience test with flying colours! 🎈 We’re so pleased Ben made your long-awaited flight one to remember.
It sounds as though you’ve caught the ballooning bug, don’t worry, the only known cure is another flight so get in touch for a little Frequent Flyer discount! ;)

Fabulous flying!
Everything was so well organised and instructions were clear which allayed any fears or anxiety about going up in a balloon. Russel, our pilot was welcoming and we really enjoyed his humour throughout the flight. The views were spectacular, the peace (when the burners weren't burning) was otherworldly and the whole experience was exciting from beginning to end. We also loved helping to pack away the balloon at the end.

Hi Pippa,
It turns out the burners didn’t get the memo about keeping the peace! 🔥😂
We’re delighted Russell’s humour helped settle any nerves and that you loved the whole experience, including your bonus workout packing away the balloon afterwards!
Thank you for flying with us!

Such fun!
We flew from Evesham, and Russell and his team were friendly, chatty, and professional. We all pitched in to help get the balloon ready and to pack it away again, which was all part of the fun. I felt completely safe. Loved every minute and would happily do this again.
Communication was really good and we easily found the location from the direction given. Booking was also easy.

Hi Erica,
It sounds like Russell and the team have recruited another fully qualified balloon packer! 😂
We’re delighted you had such a brilliant time flying with us and that you enjoyed the whole adventure from start to finish.
Be warned though, the ballooning bug has a habit of bringing people back for another flight!
Thanks for flying with us!

Unbelievable experience
Unbelievable experience. Although it took us 2 and a half years to get in the sky... it was well worth the wait. The staff were fantastic and I would recommend anyone to stick with the process. Safety is paramount. And when your opportunity comes you will not regret it!

Now that’s what we call patience paying off! 🎈
Thank you for sticking with us and trusting the process. We’re thrilled your flight was worth the wait and that the team made it such a memorable experience.
Here’s to plenty more adventures, hopefully with a slightly shorter countdown next time! 😊
Thank you again!

My balloon flight was amazing
My balloon flight was amazing. From helping to get the balloon ready to launch, through a brilliant flight, a gentle touch down in a glorious field of clover to packing the balloon away and a celebrity glass of fizz, it was all perfect. I had waited a long time before finally getting airborne, but believe me, OMG it was worth it!

Most enjoyable - thank you!
Great pilot - with just the right mix of competence, authority and understanding. Much appreciated that any or all the passengers could (and should!) take part in getting the balloon set up at the start and then packed up at the end. I also appreciated the parallel between the self-sufficient trailer (holding everything needed in an impressively small space) and the self-sufficiency of the team formed by the pilot, his crew master, and the passengers.
And I've said nothing about the flight itself! It was perfect - lovely weather, ideal temperature, and a beautiful stretch of countryside to see from the air.

Everyone made you feel welcome from the start, as it was a group experience. Mike and the crew were friendly and helpful.
I had heard from other people about Virgin experience and that flights were cancelled and when they tried to reschedule they would told that their voucher had expired! Luckily for us we had your experience on our first booking, happy days.

The staff of the balloon company were great.
The staff of the balloon company were excellent, ensuring the people understood all the safety elements and pointing out places during the flight.
Nobby and his team made the day.
The process of booking was awful, the instructions given were sparce, in some cases not at all. It felt a little like we have your booking (money) and sort it out yourself. Only when we eventually found the Balloon's did we get proper guidance. This comment is not determined by cancelled flights, which I fully understand the reasons.
