I attended an appointment with the bathroom designer on 30/04, today on 20/05 I have still yet to receive a design. I received a design for a wet room which was not discussed at my appointment. I followed up with an email to the designer and received no reply. Thoroughly disappointed in the service and this has caused a delay to my project. I'll give up trying to get a design from Wickes and will go elsewhere, I really liked their products but the service is not good - a waste of my time.

She listened carefully to what we wanted and asked all the right questions.She made the process easy and stress-free.
Very professional and sorted every concerns we had.
Love the 3D plan that helped us visualise everything.

I recently bought a flush primed painted door from Wickes. Price was £38 + £ 4 delivery. This was for a flat I have in SE London. Everything went smoothly from purchase to delivery. Thank you Wickes.

I want to express my sincere thanks to Yassine Adjadj and Deputy Store Manager Kay Barnett at Wickes for the exceptional customer service they provided on 14th February 2026.
I purchased a bulky item online and, after trying unsuccessfully for nearly an hour to reach customer service by phone, checked the Wickes app which indicated that online purchases could be returned in store. I transported the item back to the store, only to be told that because it had been supplied by a third-party vendor, the store could not process the refund and only customer service could authorise the return.
After standing in store for almost an hour on the phone, Yassine noticed me and kindly asked if I needed help. He listened patiently and empathetically, fully understanding the difficult position I was in. He made every effort to honour Wickes’ promise and tried to find someone with the authority to help.
Kay Barnett also took the time to listen to my concerns. Although she confirmed the store could not process the refund directly, she offered a practical solution: the store would hold the item and provide written confirmation, ensuring I wouldn’t need to transport the bulky item back home. While not ideal, this was a reasonable and compassionate resolution.
At that point, I had already decided I would never shop at Wickes again.
Just before leaving the store, customer service finally responded and asked me to take the item home for collection. Kay intervened and firmly explained that the store would hold the item for collection instead, preventing further inconvenience.
Thanks to the persistence, empathy, and professionalism of both Yassine and Kay, I received a fair resolution and avoided unnecessary bureaucracy.
A week later the person i spoke to over the phone while still didn't action the refund nor sent the email confirmation for the refund .
I contacted customer service again today (21/02/2026) and spoke with Bridget, who completed the refund and sent confirmation within minutes.
Yassine’s exceptional care and Kay’s ownership completely changed my experience. Because of them, I have gone from a frustrated customer ready to walk away to a loyal customer for life.
I rarely write feedback, but I wanted to make a point on this one.

Big shout out to Kay thank you for all the help whenever I came to store from a tub of paint to helping me feel with the difficult customers Servies you did it all without you Anna and Charlie I would have been able to get my refunds the amount of times the collection team have failed picking up my collections I can’t thank you enough for helping me. Thank you great team overall everyone is always so helpful.

Just popped into my local Wickes in Anerley- always such a great experience Guys are so helpful and friendly nothing’s too much trouble for them.
I’m just so sad that I discovered too late that Wickes sell the Dulux diamond trade paint in there £30 per can cheaper than my Decorator had bought it for from The Decorator‘s mate ltd in Streatham!
From now on, I will go to Wickes first.

So I went to my local Wickes Anerley to buy the mould removal spray I’d seen it on a advert so £7.00 I got it then I go to the savers in Croydon to see it only cost under a fiver in there so don’t bother buying it at wickes

We initially chose Wickes because of the excellent service from one of their designers, who presented a fantastic vision for our kitchen renovation. She assured us she would be involved from start to finish, hands-on, available, and committed to ensuring everything went smoothly. Unfortunately, our experience after the design and payment stages has been extremely disappointing.
Wickes mishandled our installation date, doubling the booking with the installer and pushing it back without any notice, just no one showed up on the agreed start date and I had to chase our designer down to understand what had happened and when our renovation would start. She had confirmed our original start date, and the delivery team had all the parts delivered on time for it but they didn’t schedule the installer. Several parts were missed or ordered incorrectly, leading to further delays. Despite repeated promises of follow-up calls and escalation to a manager, we’ve received no communication.
To make matters worse, a member of the customer service team dismissed our concerns, saying the new date “should be” fine since it’s before our baby’s due date — a completely inappropriate and unprofessional response.
While Wickes has acknowledged it’s all been their fault, they have offered no plan of action to resolve them or make things right. It feels as though, once payment was made, customer care and accountability disappeared.
When I raised recent concerns about parts she missed ordering, our designer explained that she couldn’t contact the delivery or customer service teams because she was “too busy with other customers.” That says it all. Wickes appears more focused on making sales than on delivering the service and quality they promise. Many of the reviews here shows they have a wider problem with Wickes capacity and coordination.
If you’re considering Wickes for a renovation, go anywhere else. our experience shows once they’ve taken your money they don’t provide the support, communication, or professionalism you’d expect once they have your money.

We have just had a bathroom installation with Wickes in Penge. We have made a few visits, designing it, buying things and returning things over the last few weeks. The whole experience has been very positive. I have found the staff to be very responsive when they were issues and extremely helpful when needing to return things or buy things.

I picked up two similar products from the plumbing section and went towards a small group of staff who were assisting another customer. When they finished, they turned to me and I said I wanted to ask for an "expert opinion" to decide between the two products.
A lady introduced herself as the expert - she had previously worked at a plumbing superstore - and a decision was made.
On returning home, I installed the recommended pipe connector and, lo and behold, the expert was proved correct, and all this for a £4 sale.
Very pleased I went there and would recommend.
