Wickes - Carlisle Opiniones 

Bought a large tin of Sandlin stain from Wickes but was not the right colour so took it back and were given a Gift Voucher to the same value instead of a refund!....Went back to same store for another purchase and was told the Gift Voucher was expired! £24 lost to Wickes for nothing! We won't use this company any more after spending many hundreds of pounds if not thousands over many years..Very Disappointed with this Company...

Top class kitchen design, I already had a plan drawn up which Wickes then implemented on their system. Wickes offered great advice on certain aspects of the build which I was unclear about.
50% discount is great on the current promotions too. We'll save money by getting our own integrated appliances and handles/taps (not included in the discount). This is good advice for anyone buying a kitchen, you can shop around for deals on the appliances as most integrated appliances are sized appropriately.

Wicks really are the bees knees. Wicks have supported Give a Day to the City in Carlisle for many years. Helping to make projects happen by providing materials for volunteers to get stuff done. Some projects would just not have happened. This week Wicks have provided paint brushes, plastic sheeting, and all round help for the Bitts Park project. Denton Holme Community Garden were grateful recipients of donations of compost and tools as part of Wickes Carlisle community fund programme in June 2026. The application process was really easy and the communication back from Wickes was great. Thanks so much to the team for enabling fruit and veg to be grown and donated to the local food bank.

Wickes very kindly donated bark and playsand to us for our sensory garden. A great community programme with a team that cares.

Without this donation we wouldn't have a raised sandpit for individuals with additional needs to have access to, and the ground eood be muddy underneath

Chloe was very helpful during my visit on Friday evening. She was very knowledgeable about bathroom sealants and adhesives. She is a credit to your company.

We were returning timber from another store and Heather dealt with the refund and replacement timber without an issue. Very efficient. Thank you

We (St Bede’s Primary School in Carlisle) recently received support from Wickes Community Support programme to help us with our school garden.
Through the programme, we received compost, wood chippings and gloves to really give our project a much needed boost.
The staff at Wickes have been fantastic. Communication was excellent and the team in the store were extremely helpful. All the materials were prepared and ready to collect.
It has been a real help to our project and we are very grateful to everyone at Eickes for their help and support. Thank you!!!

As a school, we had a fantastic experience with Wickes in Carlisle. We used the community programme to request some materials that would enhance our outdoor play provision for the children and it was accepted! We are so very grateful and the children are about to get started with using the items. Without support from local businesses like this, we would not have been able to purchase the resources so we would like to say a huge thank you to Wickes! The process was easy and communication with the branch, and Olivia, was brilliant. Thanks again!

Always fantastic customer experience at Wickes Carlisle. Will always remain my go to for my DIY needs. The store manager Neil went above and beyond to get an item from another local store to me. Always highly recommended

Didn't have our measurements as the man who measured up had to do our consultation and was having a day off and the lady inshore had no access to them , never once apologised just kept trying to rebook as we told her it's a long journey and totally ruined our only day off we have together

Placed online order after staff agreed to hold for longer than 48 hrs. On arranged collection, realised I couldn’t fit all items in car. Staff agreed to hold for a few more days. Very accommodating, friendly and polite. Thank you very much.

The initial contact with Danny in Carlisle was excellent. Danny was very knowledgeable about the products and very patient with our queries. A good designer.
We were introduced to 2 fitters and Patrick was a most able and talented plumber and a true asset to the company.
Both the cloakroom and ensuite he fitted are beautiful and have made our lives so much better. He even had to remove a half wall!
The only concern we had was with the delivery of products. We were given a delivery date but when away on holiday we were phoned and told that the goods would be delivered tomorrow and that there would be a number of deliveries on further dates (this was news to us). After a few phone calls this was sorted but it was a stressful at the time.
What I should state is that both Danny and Patrick went above and beyond and any small snag (which you would expect) was put right to our satisfaction.
I should say also that Wickes of Penrith fitted and supplied our kitchen some 8/9 years ago (Danny planned that also) and it is still looking good even though it has to work hard.
We have 2 more rooms to be renovated and would have no hesitation in returning to Wickes to have these done.
I would like to thank both Danny and Patrick for all their work and pleasant interaction throughout.

Excellent experience at Wickes Carlisle today, we were making a big kitchen purchase and the staff were helpful, courteous and polite and picked the order for us while we waited which made life much easier. Great quality and a substantial discount due to a current offer. Couldn’t praise more thank you!

First question re. our kitchen design.
Are you fitting it yourselves or would you like us to do it? Husband is a joiner, never would we want to pay for fitting. Second question, she asked us which kitchen units we would like.
Went through the design service, right at the end another colleague tells us the Whitworth kitchen is installation only... meaning we can't do it ourselves. Not only did we waste nearly an hour designing the kitchen, the lady tried to walk out on us half way through our appointment, thinking she was finished with us. I had to stop her and say we had another half an hour left. She also used floor cupboards on the wall as she couldn't find the wall ones on the computer. Not impressed. More training is needed.

Usual no problem experience in store, but what made it extra special was that the wife left her phone there. The store (Lee from Carlislel) kept it safe, packaged it, and had it sent to us.

Elliott really looked after us. Great knowledge of products and great customer service.
