Wickes - Erith Opiniones 

I went to Erith store to look at kitchens. Our house needs a new kitchen (having previously had one from Wickes we like the quality) and we met Adrian. He was just amazing and explained us the process, showed us the products and answered our questions. We have a home measure booked and cannot wait to get the new kitchen in.

Sue and Krupa were great . I was looking for a particular clearance laminate flooring . I reached out to Sue , and she checked with her colleague and took me to the corner of the store where the boards were kept . Also when I was about to Pay, Krupa explained me about the Wickes Trade Pro and helped me save further 10% . Sue then got my trade pro account created . Both the ladies were really helpful today

Went to my local Wickes in Erith to have a look at kitchens and get some inspiration. Looking around I was approached by Adi (or Adrian) and wow what an eye opening experience. He's knowledge and confidence in the subject is mind blowing. He explained everything to us, showed us the options available and what we could achieve and we have booked a home visit to get the ball rolling. Our old kitchen (which funny enough was from Wickes) will need to go but now, after talking to Adi, we have the confidence our new kitchen will look smashing. Cannot wait for our appointment and for our new kitchen. Thank you Adi

Went in looking for a rigid shower hose, Debbie was fantastic, offered to come over with me and help look at the shower units, was very knowledgeable within that category, was so good came back after re-measuring everything and brought the unit she advised on

Sarina was really helping me to get my orders right. She had patience dealing with my queries and managed to sort out my gift card vouchers that wouldn’t work online. Good customer care

Wickes hsa a great website where you can find what you need easily and there are so many offers there is no where else you need to go. I do only use the garden section for compost, bark chippings and such like. Delivery guys are great. They are helpful and not at all like the stop and drop attitude from some delivery companies. Top shop

We had our kitchen and bathroom designed by Danny at Wickes in Erith. Danny made a home visit and gave very good advice, as it was our first time having a kitchen fitted. Also, Danny was flexible in making changes after the initial design. Overall had a very good customer experience from Wickes, specially from Danny.

Visited wickes Erith today. Spoke to a very helpful lady, Debbie. The store couldn't help with the qty I required but Debbie had a solution based mindset which ultimately did help. Very helpful.

Came into store this morning and needed assistance with a outdoor light and Debbie assisted with this and was such a great help and went extra mile to make sure I got what I needed. 5 Stars will come back again, thank you Debbie

We would like to say a huge thank you to the Wickes team and the Wickes Community Programme.
The team was amazing — so helpful, supportive, approachable, and kind throughout the whole process. All communication felt very personal, and we greatly appreciated all the support we received.
As a primary school, we are incredibly thankful for the generous donation of sand, soil, and garden supplies for our youngest children. This support gives our children wonderful opportunities to explore, play, and learn through hands-on experiences, which makes them very happy.

Avoid. Wickes runs a website that gives you the choice of collection or delivery but I have very little evidence that they are able to carry out a delivery service. It’s a year to the day since I last tried to get a delivery in south London. It was a disaster last time. Wincanton seem to be their GoTo courier but it would seem that they are only able to afford a transit van.
Last year they missed off an entire jumbo bag of sand because they only had a van!
This time it was the entire order as the couldn’t fit it all in their van. It’s a clown service.
I ordered 20 small sleepers, 10 bags of ballast and 2 cement. I chose Thursday as my delivery day. Thursday evening after waiting in all day I get a call from the Erith branch saying they couldn’t deliver because it won’t fit on their van, but they would deliver on Friday and Saturday in two separate deliveries.
Fine.
An hour later I get an email saying my £35 delivery charge has been refunded.
Nice gesture I think.
Saturday evening after waiting in for 3 days the delivery is not here. 30 minutes on the phone trying to contact customer service they cut me off. Their chat bot couldn’t put me through to an agent either. Nothing they say or do can make up for this moronic system.
Now I have to try and get my £250 back and I’ve missed a whole bank holiday weekend to complete a project. Well twice bitten never again. 2nd May 2026

Since then I have been informed that Wickes delivery dates are ‘estimated’ only as stated in the small print.
