Great service at the Farnborough store

When exchanging an item purchased in error from the Bracknell branch
The Farnborough branch is tidy clean and well organised .
The Bracknell branch needs tidying up and more tills open on a Sunday morning.

Bought 5L wood preserver online on a click and collect. They called me to say can was covered in paint and dented but it was still sealed. Asked me if I still
Wanted it and I said I did. When I got to the Farnborough store, they went to fetch it and said to me as the can was covered in paint and dented they would discount it for me. They discounted it by 30% completely voluntary which I think is great customer service

I bought a washing line cover and some peat. The cover was good value for money. The customer rep. helped me carry the peat to my car, very kindly.

Easy and straight forward.

I signed up to the trade account yesterday and was helped through this by Tom, who also loaded heavy materials into my van with no fuss. I have also dealt with Jack over the phone, he was so helpful and very clear and concise. I would recommend this store and these staff. A good experience! Well done.

Friendly staff with deep product knowledge. I used the Dulux colour matching service to the the perfect paint for my project.

I have been to several others shops but the best help and customer service provided received was at Wickes Farnborough provided by Tom.

Really motivated, calm&clear, really helpful, and keen to help us find a hat we need.

Although I had an issue with my click and collect purchase, a sink that had no accessories the staff in the store couldn't be more helpful,

Robin was the particular staff member, she told me the box had been opened so we checked the sink was OK it wasn't until we got home, I realised the accessories were missing.

I phoned and she couldn't me more helpful trying to source parts or another sink from an alternative store, she made multiple phone calls and between use arranged for it to be collected from another store by a friend of mine,

However at this other store the staff were not so helpful assured my friend the sink was complete and perfect when checked at home, it was smashed so returned .

I can not comment on what happened as I wasn't there but i believe the experience wasn't very good and the staff weren't particularly polite.

I phoned the team at farnrbough to get their advice on what I should do next and how I go about getting a refund as I now had no sink no proof or anything,

Again the team were extremely helpful a polite lad answered the phone and passed me onto Faye she was very understanding apologetic and has issued me a refund immediately.

Although my sink was not good the store teams willingness to help made the whole thing alot easier

Despite SF responding to my Trust Pilot review dated 13th September 2024, requesting ‘further information’ so that they could look into it, which was forwarded the day after the request was sent, I have still not had a response from Wickes. Just a note to anyone else out there, if you do not respond to their request for ‘further information’ they can legitimately request that Trust Pilot take the review down.

Graham was very helpful, was guided to the right places for what I was looking for, couldn’t ask for much more!

They Had everything I needed to repair my flat roof, the staff went above and beyond helping me decide what was best for my needs, must have a big shout out for Michele who was very helpful

Staff were really helpful when I couldn't find what I needed they took me to the product. At the till the staff member was very pleasant. Will be coming back in future
