Wickes - Harlow Opiniones 

Just redone my bathroom and was served by Rebeca Grigoras. She was superb and designed my bathroom exactly how I wanted it. I also opted to use Wickes recommended builders to take the stress away because you get a two year warranty on the work with them for added peace of mind.

Rebecca the kitchen designer and the Staff at Wickes Harlow. A good choice of kitchens reasonably priced. Dave the kitchen fitter did a very good job.No problems taking anything back to the store. The Wickes coordinator could of been better but if you want a good quality kitchen you could do worse than try Wickes

Had my bathroom renovated recently with Wickes materials and a Wickes recommended builder. Builder was as efficient as they come, Kerry Evett, and the installation was completed in just over 2 weeks, with floor and ceiling having to be changed before fitting. Impressive job done. Thanks to Rebeca the Wickes designer for a brilliant design. Will recommend their work and materials to anyone who needs a good job done. A++

I always use Wickes Harlow for my DIY requirements. I find them to be a very reliable company and their customer service is brilliant. The Harlow staff are extremely pleasant, knowledgable and helpful. Delivery drivers have been the same.

Don't buy porcelain slabs from wicks, you have to order online from the display in the shop, we got the thanks for the money acknowledgment straight away, then five days later we got an email saying delivery in three days (no time, nothing)

Went into your harlow store today wed 18 sept at 3.30 and was served by an older lady on till 1. This is not the first time I have been served by her and she is not very friendly no smile no hello(even though I said hello). I know we all have off days but like I say this is not the first time. Maybe a bit if customer service training might help if not maybe she can relocate to a different part of the store that does not require customer interaction

We went ahead with Wickes for a bathroom modification project which was a pain at various stages - firstly, during the design stage no renders were provided (we relied on getting confirmation from them based on the renders we had from other suppliers like Bathrooms.com). Secondly, despite a tight-space requiring a fold flat bifold shower door, one that doesn't open all the way was ordered by them (citing that's the only one they offer - when a lot of other products were anyways being procured by us, such as shower tray, from other suppliers as they didn't offer those). Lastly, while the installation went well, the eventual problem of door not folding all the way was brought up which was quickly brushed under the carpet by the store saying the customer had agreed to go with this bifold door (my word vs theirs). The customer service team tried to get a resolution but the store neither offered one nor replied to my messages beyond a week after the installation was done.
For any bathroom projects, while the installation team and customer service team might be reliable, the in-store design and management is quite slippery and fairly pedestrian.

EDIT (25th Sep. 2024) - Haven't heard back (as promised by Wickes) in the last three weeks after sharing additional information.

I had a new shower unit installed by Wickes in November 2021. Wickes took our money, and the installation was done very well.
A couple of weeks ago, the shower stopped working, making hygiene extremely difficult for myself and my family. l am disabled as well, which only compounded the problem.
I tried to contact Wickes customer services to report this, and, to arrange for someone to come out and assess it and then arrange a repair of / replacement control unit. I was passed from one person to the next who all promised they would give the matter their personal attention, although a warranty application form needed to be completed for the manufacturer. They all promised they would do this for me. I made a note of their names. When I didn't hear from anyone, I rang back for an update on the situation. The person I spoke to on this occasion had no knowledge of the other people involved. I was extremely frustrated and asked if I could speak to the manager. I was told that if I rang the Isle of Wight branch, he might be there. I HAVE STILL NOT HEARD FROM ANYONE.
I have now contacted the manufacturer myself, and someone is coming out today to look at the unit.

I have had to contact the manufacturer myself to get the repair done (and to pay their fee). Can I thank Wickes for their lack of care, and assure them that they have lost both mine and my family's business in the future.

Excellent service and advice from start to finish, with Youth (Designer) in the Harlow branch and Dan and his team fitting. Really pleased with the end result.

Was ment to have a delivery , it got delivered to the wrong address , when I phoned up they said it had been delivered so I couldn't get a refund , the place it has been delivered to had a brown front door , I have a pink front door I told the delivery driver this . I was also asked by them to go and look round my estate to try and find my paint . terrible customer service been waiting for a phone call from a manager for 4 days now . How can a company deliver to the wrong address then charge you because it had been delivered to a address just not yours , . Don't order from them

We had a designer called Neill Wadsworth.
We were very fortunate to have him. He was very understanding of our financial situation and how much we were able to spend on our new kitchen.

He went above and beyond to get us the best price he could with the budget I had. He was very responsive and never pushed me to buy anything we didn't want to.
I was very happy to have him assigned as my designer. He was an absolute gent!
Would gladly recommend Wicks to anyone who would want a new kitchen, as well as recommending Neil to anyone.

from start to finish, the installation and planning was outstanding.
planning was smooth, sarmed chaudhry thought out the box, with more surprises.
delivery was on time, and all items arrived in tact.
the fitter craig harwood and sons was superb, could not do enough for you, and if there was a problem, it got sorted immediately.
overall quality of the kitchen was better than exspected, just wish it was a little bit cheaper lol..
