I had a similar experience as most dress sent was rubbish in a bag far too small kept e mailing took photos etc in the end I applied to John Lewis mastercard for chargeback and received a reply in Dec 20 refusing me a refund stating they can only work within mastercards and there is no evidence to show I am due a refund in line with company's terms and conditions which I sent them. So if anyone out there has been succesful with a refund please let me know as I am £152 out of pocket

DONT BUY FROM THIS SITE!!! THE DRESSES IS NOT WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PICTURE.. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO TRADING STANDARDS IF I DONT RECEIVE A FULL REFUND..
update: offered me 15% from 150 dress!! This was there reply after 8 emails... told them i would settle for £100 refund (not 151)

I appreciate that you can consider a partial refund as the final solution.
But 100 means 75.2% of this dress, which is even higher than the material fee, it is still too much for us.
We only earn 10% from each dress, here we will refund you 15% as compensation and you needn’t lose money on postage again for sending this dress back.
Is that OK?

Website says returns are accepted, but they actually won't do it because this is a Chinese scam operation. They send you a cheap and nasty item which is nothing like the picture, then refuse to refund you and say you should sell it on!
CASE OPENED WITH MASTERCARD TO GET THE MONEY BACK!

OMG! lesson learned! Look on "trust pilot" before ordering anything online. My nightmare with this company is the same as everyone else's reviews here so cut a long story short i've been had too. However i have the patience of a saint. Come on people bug the living daylight out of them and also contact the "european consumer centre"

My dress arrived all creased and not the same as the picture so have emailed them several times to obtain a full refund . I sent the dress back to the address they eventually game be but still them won’t refund . This company should be shut down . It’s a complete fraud . Do not use

Thank God for these reviews! Was looking into using this site for clothing purchase, but luckily I checked Trust Pilot and saw these reviews! A lot of these Chinese companies are all the same! Terrible to deal with and only want to scam your payments! I can relate! Jolly good on all those who have posted these reviews! I do feel your frustration as well!!

Do not use this company they still owe me £125 since August 2020 and will not refund and I haven’t even had the dress yet.
Absolutely rubbish and I email each week and get told the same rubbish that I will be refunded soon

If I could give less than 1 star I would! Terrible company using photos from other legitimate dress companies as their own! Ordered a wedding dress and it looks and feels like it been made out of curtain net not dress lace! Now refusing to let us return and get a full refund and instead asking for us to keep the dress and give us a 20% compensation! Absolute joke and have no idea how they are still trading! Please please please ladies and gents don’t use them!

I have reviewed this site before but this is an update. I had to eventually get my credit card compamy imvolved who have refunded me the money and YourDress have now issued me with an invoice for £88 which they say i have to pay as in previous correspondence i had said i would take less money just to get this sorted. I'm not paying this and they asked me to send the dress back to them at my expense.
This company is a fraud and they will not refund you so please avoid. This has added so much stress to my wedding planning

Awful awful awful. Do not buy from here unless you are confident you will never want to return it. I am still fighting for a full refund even after they stated I would get one and after the pandemic cancelling my wedding! Don’t waste your money, go somewhere else. Their website states they have a brilliant returns process but this is not true

I received the dress, paid the extra £15 to receive it sooner (which didn’t happened) it arrived later! Then it arrived and was too big! The quality is sh**! And I’ve been asking for a full refund which they’re refusing!

Their customer service is S***! Everything is bad! Do not buy anything from them! Not a serious business at all!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
Ordered a dress sending my measurements. Received dress within approx 10 days. The item arrived in a plastic bag, inside a postal bag. The item was different of that I wanted, it was badly made, breast cups too small, the quality is very bad. I complained telling them about all the issues I found and they asked me to try it and send them pictures and they said that it looked pretty nice on me. Unbelievable!! I am still trying to get money back via visa after they said they couldn’t do a full refund due to the cost of the so called material and time to make the dress, and the only choice they had was to destroy it, They offered me money for alterations needed. I have contacted the customer rights commission because I want my full refund. NEVER AGAIN!!

Item was badly made, had a puck in it and a run, along with a number of other issues. Complained to sellers telling them about all the complaints and they asked me to try it it look pretty on. Still trying to get money back via visa after they said they couldn’t do a full refund due to the cost of the so called material and time to make the dress, but they would make me another dress of my choice at cost!!! Did not realise until the item arrived that it was coming from China as uk domain website. Only when I looked up returns and refunds did it show where the company was based and then reading their policy for returns I think it would be very dubious if you got your money back. Do not go near this firm/website.

I would not reccomend this site to anyone. They make cheap copies of the dresses they advertise. I emailed them for delivery update, I got a reply saying it will be delivered early October. It was early, so I will give them credit for that. They don't keep in touch with you, like a legit company would. I had to email them for answers. When I received the dress it was cheap and tacky. They had made it too short to wear with heels, even though I gave them my measurements correctly. I went onto the site to fill in a returns form, to request a RMA number. From that moment on I've heard nothing back. So I am now in the process of having the payment reversed with my bank, as I paid with credit card. I was a fool to trust this site. Wish I had seen the awful reviews before I made my order. If you order from these all you are going to get is Chinese tat. You certainly get what you pay for. Pay cheap and you get cheap. Don't do it.

This company as you can see from other replies are complete scammers. I only wish I had checked reviews on here before ordering. In June I ordered two dresses for my sons wedding, after taking my money they advised me to cancel the order for one of the dresses to save me money returning one, fair enough, nice of them to do that I thought. Three months later I still haven't rec'd a refund for the cancelled dress and don't even get me started on the dress I did receive. The dress is actually nice but clearly not the size I ordered as way too small (I ordered a size 16 and it's even too small for my 16 yr old niece who is a size 8!) I asked to return the dress and was told I should donate it as it would be hard for them to resell. The reason I didn't order a custom made dress was so I could return it if need be which it clearly says you can do on their website. I was offered a refund at a percentage which in the end I agreed to but low and behold still no refund. This is disgusting scamming people who are planning for weddings and special events in their lives. I'm not going to let this go and I encourage others to not let it go either and keep fighting for their money back, I am going to seek legal advise from the CAB to see what can be done to stop these horrible people trading.

Recently I ordered a dress and bolero set from Yourdress to wear to my son’s wedding.
I simply had to write a review as I was over the moon when I opened the package. It’s the first time I have ordered an online piece of clothing and I was not let down. Everything ran so smoothly from the ordering to the receiving and I didn’t have to worry about the arrival time as it arrived well on time.
Added to this, both garments fitted superbly and everyone who attended the ceremony commented as to how lovely the dress was and asked from where I had purchased it.
A few days ago I sent a query as to how I should have the dress cleaned. In no time at all I had a reply.
I found Your dress very efficient. I will most definitely use your company again as the service and product were excellent.
