Cheap quotes for a reason
Cheap quotes for a reason. Bad customer service. Took out a policy for a second run around car we’d bought, I work in insurance and deal with CUE on a daily basis so I know how it works. My husband had a fault claim from when the handbrake failed and rolled whilst the car was empty whilst he was out. He wasn’t certain of the date but knew it was January. He put the 18th as he thought it was that date but turns out it was 2 weeks prior. We got an email stating cue had flagged another claim. (Wasn’t another claim it was the same with just with the correct date) rang straight away to explain and sort it to be met with ridiculous background noise listening to other people’s conversations in the contact centre, kept being placed on mute with long pauses and silences and to be told our new instalments would go from £50 to £80! I explained changing the date of a claim isn’t a rating factor.. and should have no bearing on price. If there was an amendment fee fair enough but this was a total increase in premium and they were trying to make out the policy ratings had gone up due to the change. Premiums are only impacted if it’s an actual rating factor that’s being changed. Cancelled the policy straight away and went elsewhere. Just pay a bit extra and go with a company more well known.

I have sent proof of a no-claims…
I have sent proof of a no-claims discount 3 times. I was given the wrong email address by a representative of the company. I have spent hours on the phone to try and sort this out to be told that they might not accept the documents if they are password-protected, even though I have given them the password. Genuine customer policy number ends 2968. Customer service I would give a zero if I could

Company improving
Had some miss communication with cancellation fees, but all been sorted in same day, noticed that company has few bad reviews but since then attitude change and they looking serious in customer service, improvements and communication. Thanks for lady who gave me a call and sorted all issues.

Our quotes are based on the information provided at the time of purchase. If additional information, such as previous claims, is disclosed or identified, this can affect the premium and result in a revised price. Cancellation and Insurance Service Fees (ISF) are applied in line with the terms and conditions of the policy, even if the cover has not yet started.

It was very easy to get a quote online through the comparison site, with a great price…However, some info was recorded differently online and trying to correct it through calling zenith has been very difficult. The operator told me it was changed but when looking online, it’s still the same! The 2nd convo with them to correct it felt a bit longwinded and a repeat of the 1st call, so have given up and now need to speak to a manager before the insurance starts end of month.
