I visited American Golf in Trent Park (S165) and had a driver / putter fitting. Kevin Greenslade guided me through the process and was extremely knowledgeable and patient. We actually spent close to 2.5 hours testing the clubs and analysing the data to determine what configurations would be best suited to my game. Came away very happy and can't wait for it to be delivered. Thanks again, Kevin.

Visited American golf doncaster and was very happy with the service I received from Alan Marsh,very knowledgeable and friendly got me custom fitted and set me up with a new set of ping irons and driver, will definitely be returning

Purchased a wedge from American Golf Middleton branch. Gareth Dougherty helped me choose loft, grind and bounce then try the club on the simulator. Could have bought a wedge on line anywhere but its taking to people like Gareth that help you make the right choice. All in all over the moon with my club. Glynn R S

Thanks to Paul Chapman at stoke,most helpful in choosing my clubs which were not the most expensive available to which i could have been directed-to,and i value his patience in dealing with me.Very grateful to him for his advice and help with my swing when calling in the shop unannounced.Much to recommend.

Went to American Golf today at Merry Hill asked if I could try a sim max driver staff not very helpful basically said if your not buying today best not try it out so I am going to beckets farm branch which is out of my road but the staff there try and help you out what is going on with some of these stores

Just bought a new driver at american golf aintree. I litrally could not be happier with the service I recieved from carl. He spent a lot of time with me finding out what driver was best for me and not just focusing on the most expensive.he also gave me some tips and improved my driving there and then!!!!! I didnt feel rushed or pressured to buy. I was litrally clueless going into the store about which driver to get and I got to try a large variety of brands and setups. He even set my club up to suit me and has said if i need help with it in the future then I can just pop in for him to look at it. Great service and i could not be happier!!!!!!

I would like to thank Rob at your Oxford shop for his diligence in helping me with buying a 5 wood. We tried many clubs and in the end I ordered it and it arrived the next day.

Visited American Golf Biggleswade branch today. Wonderful service by Richard Moore. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Very satisfied with my purchase of a Taylor Made Spider putter. Thank you American Golf.

Ordered a driver which was promised to be despatched on 28/5/2021. I recieved an e-mail telling me it would now be sent no later than 03/06/2021. Today I have called customer service and been told it 'should' be sent on 16/06/21 but they cannot confirm that to me as they have no way of checking the order prioritisation against my e-mail address! Can't speak to a manager, no compensation offered, they will not even offer to send it on overnight delivery. Absolutely terrible customer service. Very disspointed and still driverless. Avoid.

Went to American Golf Doncaster to test Drivers. At this point the customer service was very good. I decided to buy a custom fit driver for £400 which I was told would take 4 weeks to arrive in store at which point they’d let me know. After 4 weeks passed I called to get an update, I was told the club would be there in 10 days. 2 weeks later I hadn’t heard anything so called again. The gentleman I spoke to said he’d just check and call me back in 5 minutes. After 2 hours I’d not received a call so called again and was told they were awaiting a response from Taylormade. No call back ever came so I called again the next day. They’ve now said it will be in Doncaster sometime next week and will be in store shortly after that and that this process in fact always takes 6-8 weeks. I’ve been quoted incorrect timeframes throughout, not once has an effort been made to provide me with information and updates on the order. When I’ve contacted I’ve been treated as a nuisance with no level of care. Was going to buy a new putter and some attire when picking the driver up, needless to say I will no longer be doing so

My wife bought me a set of clubs for my 50th Birthday. Still waiting for them to show up. Going cancel and get money back. #shouldofwenttocallaway.

Booked in for a 'FREE' custom fitting.
A few days before the fitting I got a call from someone at American Golf in Airth asking what my fitting was for. I said I have a relatively new driver, but unsure of what flex and length etc I'd be best suited for. Ive never had a fitting before. So, for that fitting i'm wanting fit for a new shaft that I'll buy from them for my driver. Their attitude changed completely and said they wouldn't just SELL me a shaft. Well, I said I'll just take my 'FREE' fitting then to work out what shaft I need. They told me no they wouldn't do that, because I'm not buying anything! (I should have read the reviews before booking as other people have experienced the same thing. One person actually said that in the middle of the fitting he told them he might not buy anything and the swiftly stopped the fitting and wouldn't give him his results!)
It doesn't say anywhere on their site that you actually need to buy something for the fitting!
What I didn't tell them was I'm looking to get custom fitted for a full set of irons soon also, which they've now lost out on.
Me and my mates have spent some amount of money in their shop over the years when they were located at Brucefields in Stirling, along with all the money we've spent at the driving range at Airth! I even bought my Callaway MD4's from the PGA professional that was at Brucefields when they were located there!
Absolute rogues who are only interested in your money.
I, along with all my mates, won't be back to them or the driving range! Which is sad as I've been going to that range for years.
Steer well clear.

All staff at the Eastleigh branch were very helpful and friendly. My daughter went for a fitting with David Ings, he made her feel comfortable and relaxed and was very chatty and funny with all of us. Will definitely be returning for more stuff in the near future

So sad to see American Golf receiving all these bad reviews and my experience is no different. It was bad enough being the victim of a 'systems error' at AG but how long does it actually take to process my refund? One error is just compounded by the other. Come on American Golf, get your act together!

ABSOLUTELY SHAMBOLIC!!!!

Shocking, bought a £900 motor caddy m7 that turned up obviously pre used, had scuff marks all over it and not packaged properly, was told i would have to take photos, re send and wait a approx a week before they could send a new one or refund the money, will not be using again.
