Absolute lack of customer service.

Horrendous. Claimed they sent an email alerting me of a policy cancellation. No email to be found (I have received many emails from them previously so there was no issue there). I did however receive an email stating my telematics device had been cancelled! This was received after I had already drove to work! I was obviuosly horrified about the fact I had drove to work uninsured and phoned as soon as the lines opened. I sat on hold for 30 minutes waiting to connect, then for another 15 waiting for an advisor to investigate. They stated that they sent the alert (which supposedly was sent 9 hours before they cancelled the policy). How is 9 hours enough notice for a policy cancellation? I received a call back stating the issues etc. Currently on hold to them 5 days after the last call in attempt to find out what is happening. Awful customer service. I sent multiple emails (which they claimed they did not receive), have sat on hold multiple times. I just want my policy sorting.

Update:

I was on hold yesterday for 1 hour and a half whilst at work waiting for someone to answer. I gave up as I had work to do. Called back later on to be answered by a worker who advised they could arrange a call back within the next 24 hours. Doubt I'll receive a call back to be perfectly honest as one has been promised 3 times beforehand. We shall see however whether this issue is resolved.

Update 2:

Did not receive a call back after 24 hours. I have given them 7 working days, Still nothing. I honestly do not see why they bother giving out false promises. No response on email, no response to reviews. Just a poor email to state that their umbrella company had changed, that nothing would be changed and I would remain unaffected. I feel as though I may have been slightly affected with my insurance being cancelled and all?

Update 3:

Finally got a call on 17/05 to ask if I still needed assistance. Of course I do! They stated they would not take any funds as of yet due to them still investigating this complaint. How kind of you to not take my money. Apparently it can take up to 8 weeks to investigate a complaint?! What?! 8 weeks?! 2 months until I find out how they're going to apologise for cancelling my policy. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm assuming they hope after 8 weeks their customers forget they even put a complaint in.

DO NOT USE AUTOSAINT ITS S***

If I could give it 0 stars I would! Over 2 months of endless phone calls and emails trying to get my NCB from them only for it to be sent over and it’s wrong!!! Absolutely abysmal customer service, takes between an hour and 2 hours to even get through to someone only to be told “the person that raised the query left early today” absolute joke!

1 star to leave the review. They are abysmal! Avoid at all costs!! Impossible to get hold of them via telephone and email. Daughter has now had her insurance cancelled without them informing her of this, despite our efforts to sort the issue regarding exceeding mileage, which they notified her of via text message only!! We will take this further and are seeking legal action!

My daughter has been requesting her no claims proof for 4 weeks and she still hasn't received it. Her new insurance company is now going to cancel her insurance. No renewals notice was sent which meant she could have gone uninsured as its her first insurance. Not good enough!!!

THIS COMPANY IS SO BAD - PLEASE CONTACT BBC WATCHDOG to tell them of your issues (you can do it while you are on hold to them!!!) it only takes 5-10 minutes and if a lot of us do it we might get some help. My son is being threaten with cancellation because of a problem with their telematics system changes on 1st March, then for the last two weeks they have had no systems and are working from a spreadsheet(!) of names for call backs - which no one ever calls you back from!!! I was in a queue for 6 hours yesterday, finally go through from calling at 9.00 am this morning and the miserable call handler hung up on me before I had time to actually complain!! He did nothing - he had taken all the details so had my number but didn't ring me back. CEO is Mike Joseph try writing him a letter too. The worst insurance company I have ever had the displeasure of coming across was quoted 2500 with a black box it was then 900 for extra miles not needed and then 330 to swap the car on the policy!! Takes 4 hours at a time to get through awful customer service, rude. After getting through been told you cannot get a call back within 2 days absolutely disgusting Please for your own sanity AVOID AVOID AVOID

Shocking!

Absolutely awful

They put my driving score down and threatened to cancel my insurance when there was no speeding or harsh breaking or anything showing up. My car broke down and i got a new one and they will not answer the phone to let me cancel the policy. I end up being on hold for 2 hours and then it cuts off absolutely awful. Unfortunately i paid in full so have now lost money from the end of my policy. DO NOT USE AUTOSAINT INSURANCE

Dont use this company it's the worst…

Dont use this company it's the worst I've ever known customer service Is bad it can take upto 2 hours to get through to them and now i need to change car they cant doit because there systems are down and have been for last 5 days they wont even let you cancel because of this so I'm stuck with a new car without any insurance

Great service from Monica Roberts at Autosaint

We have been with Autosaint for the past couple of years for my daughter as a first time driver and they have always been very helpful. Unfortunately due to a breakdown, the car unfortunately died within 3 months of my daughters second year policy with them so we have called them up today. We spoke to a lady called Monica Roberts and she was so helpful on the phone. Fantastic customer service and she cancelled my daughters insurance over the phone, whilst also sending us an immediate text and email of confirmation. Thank you very much Monica Roberts and we will hopefully be getting a new car and starting again with you soon. Many thanks.

Do not ever use this company

Do not ever use this company! It is impossible to get through to them to sort out issues and when you do no one seems to know what they are doing. The worst car insurance company I have ever had the misfortune of coming across. I have cancelled the policy early as it is just not worth the hassle of trying to deal with them. Calling them a cowboy firm is an insult to cowboy firms, they are even worst!!!

Absolutely Awful

You may be tempted by auto saints low prices, but trust me it's not worth it. They are an absolute nightmare to deal with and the experiences I have had with their services and customer support have been the worst of my life.

The first time I had trouble with them was about 2 months after I first bought insurance. I got a text and email telling me that my driving score on my black box had fallen to a dangerously low level and that I had to contact them or they may revoke my insurance. I phoned them immediately and forty minutes waiting to speak to someone, only to be told that I had been sent those messages by mistake and that I didn't need to worry, so a big scare and 40 minutes of my life down the drain all for nothing.

My next problem was with their bad website design in general. I have yet to be able to access their dashboard to be able to see my driving stats, as when I put in my email and password it tells me that my password is wrong, and when I choose to reset my password it tells me an email has been sent, when I receive absolutely nothing. On top of that their customer service times are listed as ending at different times in different places, with some saying they close at 17:30 and others at 19:30, making the experience just confusing in general.

The last straw with them was just the other day. I went on to their portal to find my car insurance certificate for proof of insurance only to find a 3 month old document saying all cover under my policy had been cancelled after our 'prior correspondence'. I scoured back through my emails looking to find anything notifying me of this or any email I had sent that could have been misconstrued as me wanting to end my policy, but there wasn't even a single email sent to or from them. I have spent an hour and forty minutes on hold to them this morning trying to speak to someone about this and am incredibly frustrated. I will be cancelling my policy even if it turns out that the document I found was a mistake. I would give this company 0 stars if I could. Awful.

Avoid like the plauge worst insurance company ever!!!! Currupt

I was with them for the first year it was al good for the first few months u changed my car 2 and a half hours on hold to get through to someone then I renewed with hem because they were the cheapest around..
They told me I didn't have to make a payment that month little did I know they tried taking a payment then they told me that I had to pay a late payment fee of 30 pound I and I had to pay 2 months worth of payments in that sameonth and if I wanted to change my address it would have cost me hundreds I raid a complaint and the complaint procedure takes between 6 to 8 weeks so I cnacled the insurance costing me 55 pound!!!!

93% ZERO rating, cannot be coincidence!!

As 93% of all comments on Trust Pilot are ZERO (you have to put 1 in though) how can this company continue trading? They are obviously not capable...Fresh seem to be the parent company now...good luck with that. Autosaint are impossible to deal with - unable to contact whatsoever. Cancelling the car insurance, sold vehicle - they had better not come after me......

UPDATE****UPDATE***** I contacted Premium Credit to end the credit agreement. I explained what an absolute waste of time Autosaint are.. I had been trying to cancel the policy for over a month. Premium Credit said they would call Autosaint whilst I was on the line....I wished them good luck. Surprise, surprise they were unable to get through..... PLEASE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, certainly 'border-line' SCAM!!

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely Terrible customer service! Appalling one person tells you one thing and the other tells you sobering else and then you get a hefty charge through the door because they told you not to worry about it and they'll sort it!! These guys can't do their job properly glad to getting away from them!

Absolutely shocking customer service!! Dashboard app hasn’t updated for days but my sons score is dropping drastically when he’s been in the 90s since passing in sept!! Ridiculous to get hold of!! And charging alsorts to up mileage etc. Stay away!!

Awful insurance would not recommend

Awful insurance would not recommend, I wouldn’t even give it a star to be honest, cannot get through to them and spend hours waiting for them to pick up the phone, when they do the customer service is dreadful and they are rude. I wanted to add more miles to my policy and they said to add 1,000 more it would be £650 so I asked how much to cancel my insurance and that was the same price. They lie to get money and take advantage of you as an insurer, worst mistake I’ve had was going with this terrible company.

Ridiculous

Ridiculous! DO NOT go to autosaint if you are looking to insure your car! Terrible team of people. Mistreated! Lying to make money! Worst of all, you cannot get through via phone or email for weeks! Their excuse in their words I quote “we have a very short amount of staff which I believe is stupid, and we have to many cancellations to be dealing with to be able to help you out. I hope you get through.” Ridiculous!
