Absolutely appalling service
Absolutely appalling service. The delivery was significantly delayed, forcing me to cancel scheduled builders and incur a cancellation fee as a result.
To make matters worse, the pebbles themselves were poor quality — the bags appeared to contain an excessive amount of white sand filler, seemingly to increase weight.
When I contacted Brisks about both the delivery delay and the product quality (2 tonnes worth), their response was simply an apology, with no attempt to resolve the issue or offer any meaningful compensation.
After following up and clearly explaining the financial impact this caused, I was offered a 2.5% discount on a future order. Frankly, this is insulting and completely inadequate given the situation.
I would not recommend ordering from Brisks. Customer care is at 0%.
Wrong item recieved
Wrong item recieved, that was cheaper than what i payed for, still styna contact customer service but no reply, no telephone number or anything. Have to contact bank for a refund
I ordered a pallet of kiln dried sand…
I ordered a pallet of kiln dried sand from Brisks on Wednesday 8th April, with delivery scheduled for 10th April. The order did not arrive on the expected date, and I received no communication whatsoever to explain the delay or provide an updated delivery date.
After multiple failed attempts to get through on their phone line, I had to email them myself, only to be told they had no stock available. The pallet eventually arrived late on 16th April, but to make matters worse, around half of the kiln dried sand was soaking wet and completely unusable.
I contacted them again regarding the issue and was told they had arranged collection of the damaged product along with a replacement delivery by 24th April. Once again, this date came and went with no communication, no collection, and no replacement.
It is now the 29th April, and they are ignoring both my calls and emails. The lack of communication, poor service, and unacceptable product quality have been extremely frustrating. I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from Brisks, as my experience has been nothing but delays, inconvenience, and disappointment.

Delivery issues and false promises over and over and over and over again.....
I purchased 4 pallets of aggregates on Tuesday 7th April from Brisks. I paid £80.20 for delivery on my selected delivery day, Friday 10th April. At 11am on Friday I received a call to let me know it was not going to be delivered. I was told I was getting a ‘free upgrade to weekend delivery’ as if this was a good thing. An odd way of saying your order is not arriving today and it is delayed. I explained that I had landscapers scheduled that evening and weekend and they said it was not their fault. They did not care at all. They continued telling me how great it was that I was getting an ‘upgrade’ and guaranteed it would be delivered on Saturday morning so contacted the landscapers and they agreed to come Saturday morning once the delivery had been made.
As promised, they showed up at 9.30am, the only problem being they didn’t have all of my order. I received 3 of the 4 pallets. The driver then refused to put them on my driveway and wanted to leave them on the pavement. After 15 minutes and a phone call with his manager he reluctantly put them on the driveway. The landscapers arrived at 11am and for obvious reasons, they couldn’t even start the work without all the product. So I am now £120 out of pocket as they failed for the second time to complete the ‘guaranteed’ delivery. Being a weekend there was no one working at Brisk’s so I had to wait until Monday to contact them.
Monday morning 9am - I try calling them but the ‘inbox was full’ and the phone line cut out. I tried calling a further 8-10 times over the next 90 minutes, before going online to their messaging system. I finally received a call back at 11.15am. I explained my frustration and the fact my project has now been delayed and I am out of pocket £120 for their failure to deliver again. She apologised and blamed the ‘double bank holiday weekend’ for their delays. Firstly, you shouldn’t let a customer select a delivery day if you cannot make the delivery. Secondly, it clearly was not the bank holidays fault they failed to deliver all of my order on Saturday. The truck was basically empty other than my order and only partially delivered. They clearly lost the other pallet. I was told she would speak to her manager regarding compensation for this issue as I had paid over £80 for a selected delivery day and they continued to fail. She proceeded to tell me she would contact me shortly regarding delivery and it will be delivered today, Monday. She never called me back. I then received a text and email notification that my order was arriving between 13.45 and 15.45 that day. Obviously It didn't. I got a phone call from the delivery company almost 2 hours later saying they couldn’t deliver it today, it would have to be Tuesday and would be guaranteed morning delivery. Tuesday morning their phone lines were not working still so I reached out through the online messaging. Again, she called me back and said they were taking this issue very seriously, she would speak with her manager about compensation and she would personally be tracking this delivery today and would reach out as soon as it was delivered.
I received a text and email saying my order would be delivery between 10.35 - 12.35. An hour later I received another text saying delivery would be between 11.18-13.18. An hour later another text changing the time again to 13.17-15.17. He finally arrived at 15.05.
She never called back. I never heard from them again. Nothing at all.
So I am basically left with 4 pallets still sitting my my driveway today, Thursday 23rd, I am £120 out of pocket and having to wait another 8 days before my garden can be worked on. It is absolutely disgusting. They continually lied to me through this process.
I thought I would wait a week before posting this review to allow them time to contact me as I had been promised multiple times but again, nothing. They do not care. Once they have your money, they feel they can basically can deliver it whenever they want to, how ever they want to. The customer service is appalling. I have never had an experience like this and will certainly not be using them again. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Stone was wrong shocking service
Ordered 3 large bags of stone which looked nice on the internet but when it came looked like hardcore. Spoke to customer service which were happy to help but they never get back to you.had to send photos of what I received and then that's when it all went wrong they tell me I have to wet my stone to make it look like what's in the picture then advise me that's it's going To cost me £160 to send back which originally cost me £35 for delivery.aparrently everybody in the yard have read the email and said it's exact when it obviously wasn't and also told me I should of payed for a sample Instead of bulk buying. Still waiting for a managers decision but due to high volume of calls it will take several days,yet every time I've rang I've got straight through to somebody

we had Fin install our Broadband yesterday. He is an accet to your organisation. Fin was very efficient, polite and very knowledgable. Highly recommended.
Abysmal Service- avoid if you are not ordering locally
Made an order on 23 March 2026 and a delivery date for 1st April. (no this is not an April Fool but feels like one). Order never arrived. Called on the due day and was told they would arrange delivery for 7th due to the bank holidays. No delivery on 7th, called everyday up to and including 10th April. I was told the order was still at the plant and they didn’t know why it was not getting delivered. I cancelled and got a refund. A terrible service. No communication, false promises to call you back that never come to fruition. If you are local you might get your delivery, if you live further afield be very wary. Was not worth the stress. Went to Gravelmaster in the end who were brilliant, cheaper and excellent delivery.
AVOID THIS COMPANY
Ordered a tonne of gravel and selected a delivery date. Other than the order confirmation I received no other communication. Delivery didn't arrive on the day. tried calling 20 to 25 times and was met with a 'mailbox full' message every time. the last call eventually got through to a call centre (not Brisks employees) who said they would log my call and get Brisks to call me back. They didn't. no reply to emails or tickets logged on their contact us page on the website.
Luckily I paid through Paypal so contacted them and managed to organise a refund. I've ordered the gravel from another website.

Ordered paving delivery from their website for a date and was told a glitch had happened on their website because of bank holiday which I understood could be possible.
They then told me delivery would be the following monday. Waited in all day and no delivery.
I contacted them on wednesday to give them a couple more days and they said delivery would be friday and yep you guessed it, the delivery never showed.
Its now monday and no contact from them despite another email sent.
Do yourself a favour and dont bother ordering from this bunch of clowns.
Ordered 40mm blue slate and arranged…
Ordered 40mm blue slate and arranged for delivery. Delivery day came and went and nothing, Contacted C/S who informed the delivery was running late and will be with you the following day, Nothing, Contacted again delivery now next week after the Easter break. Still nothing delivered, Excuse was Haulier had issues and very busy. Asked for a full refund, still waiting 6 days now. What is going on!!!!

never delivered, time and money waste
I ordered a bulk bag of 40mm slate chippings and was never delivered. First a list of text messages moving the time of delivery later and later, up until the end of the following day, and then all communication dropped. Emails ignored, phone calls are not answered. Are they gone bankrupt? time and money wasted! awful experience.
Non existent customer service
I wish I had read some of these reviews before ordering from this company. Placed an order on 24 March for delivery on 1 April (all confirmed in emails and on my order section of the website). Never turned up. Have been calling/emailing since and have spoken to one person who said she would check it out and call be back. She hasn't. They are absolutely appalling. I have now cancelled the order on the website and will be taking it further if the refund is not forthcoming.

Delivery is terrible. They were rude to my wife, besides coming with a manual forklift to move 2 tons of stones. They literally couldn't move onto the curb, so they simply left it on the street.
Customer service is even worse. They don't take responsibility for the delivery service they hire. Treated me in a condescending way and simply did nothing about it, insisting their delivery policy is clear and that they can't influence the delivery company.
Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful , we ordered a pallet of kiln dried sand on the 2nd of February , this arrived and the sand was wet , so I straight away got in contact for a replacement !
It took two and a half months of endless phone calls and emails before the sand got replaced , this last week no response to emails or phone calls and to top it off the delivery driver damaged our garage door when he dropped it off !

I ordered pea stone
I ordered pea stone. What was delivered wasn't pea stone. Spoke to customer services. They were happy to sort the issue, just send picture of the 20m stone I'd received, then over the next 7 days. I got email over email saying one thing then another, yesterday I was asked to send a close up picture. I did. Then another email. Is the stone still on the pallet. And is it able to be collected. Ggen today another email. We dont understand the issue. And they think its the wrong order number. And to me this is one after another playing a game. Just so I give in getting the right product replaced. Iv now got to the point. I can not finish my garden due to this un ending joke if a company. Playing delay delay games, so iv ordered pea stone from a much more professional company as Birsk do not even have a customer service line to speak. As since speaking 7 days ago. There lune just states. Mail box full try later. WHY BOTHER.

I ordered 2 bulk bags of North Sea pebbles. They were delivered by Lee who placed them excactly where I wanted. The stones were all good quality.

I placed an order with Brisks and unfortunately the entire experience has been unacceptable.
My delivery never arrived, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue through their customer service team, I was met with poor communication and completely inconsistent responses. Customer service has been shocking from start to finish.
It has now been over a month, and I still have not received a refund of any of the £361.80 i spent. I have repeatedly contacted them to resolve the matter, but nothing has been done. As a result, I am now having to begin legal action for breach of contract just to recover my money.
From my experience, this company appears to be operating in clear breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which entitles customers to a refund when goods are not delivered as agreed.
I would strongly advise others to avoid this company entirely. Based on my experience, ordering from them has been nothing but a stressful and frustrating ordeal.
