⭐ 1 Star – Avoid This Company

I placed an order with Brisks and unfortunately the entire experience has been unacceptable.

My delivery never arrived, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue through their customer service team, I was met with poor communication and completely inconsistent responses. Customer service has been shocking from start to finish.

It has now been over a month, and I still have not received a refund of any of the £361.80 i spent. I have repeatedly contacted them to resolve the matter, but nothing has been done. As a result, I am now having to begin legal action for breach of contract just to recover my money.

From my experience, this company appears to be operating in clear breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which entitles customers to a refund when goods are not delivered as agreed.

I would strongly advise others to avoid this company entirely. Based on my experience, ordering from them has been nothing but a stressful and frustrating ordeal.

Just been reading the last weeks…

Just been reading the last weeks reviews, all terrible just lke this one, terrible service, no way of contacting customer service as they just dont answer, save yourselves a lot of hassle and shop elswhere my delivery was 5 days late.

Very poor service

Very poor service. The stones which were purchased were not as imaged. Fortunately the stones provided were nice enough so were kept. The service was poor due to the arranged date of delivery being on a Thursday. This did not occur and it was not possible to get in contact with the customer service due to it being the Easter Bank Holiday weekend! So unable to speak with anyone until the following Tuesday! Also getting through to sort this out was very difficult and it took multiple calls to be answered. Finally the stones were delivered the following Thursday!! 7 days late! The only positive was the delivery driver (presumably a partner agency) who was very professional.

Dreadful service.

Dreadful service.
First of all no communication regarding delivery date, then when it turned up the driver refused to drop the stone chippings onto my driveway stating he was not insured on customers property, said it was curbside drop off only ( nothing on Brisks website states this) in fact there is a video showing what to expect on delivery date and it shows driver placing it straight onto a customers driveway.
Then the driver said the truck tailgate broke and could not deliver that day, whilst I understand things can happen outside of the driver's control I had taken time off for this.
I attempted to contact both Brisks and Palletways
Emailed Brisks - absolutely no response several days later.
Palletways contact number just rang then went to voicemail.
Delivery was finally made the following day and even this was at 5pm and only received an email saying to expect delivery after it had happened, no use after the event.
The second driver however was more than happy to drop off on my driveway.
Will not be using Brisks again!
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

STAY AWAY FROM BRISKS UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING MESSRS AROUND

Im amazed that companies like this can get away with thir shoddy approach. It appears they are only good at taking your money. Once thats done you may as well forget any thing you get promised regarding delivery as its all bu##s##t. They do not answer phones or reply to emails a hopeless company.

Dreadful company.

I ordered a delivery for Wednesday 1st April it didn't arrive, no phone call,email or message to explain why, I tried to contact Brisks on Thursday via phone and email with no joy. This Tuesday I had a message from Palletline to say they were delivering it today, still no message or contact from Brisks. I'm 75 and had a recent hip replacement, I had my son standing by on the 1st April to help me, after still no response from Brisks my son bought some slate locally and it was delivered the same day. Its now Friday the 10th April and I still haven't heard from Brisks despite my email requesting my money back. So beware, this company is disgraceful. I'm extremely disappointed.

Apalling customer service. Ordered 22.34m2 of indian sandstone paving. Delivery was 7 days late to begin with and I had to call three times to try to find out what was happening. When the order was finally delivered I realised they had only sent me 18.34m2 of paving, even though they've charged me for the full amount! This was days ago and I've called three times since and got nowhere, no mention of a refund or sending out the missing slabs - all they do is tell me they will call back later which they never do. Luckily I paid via credit card.. I will be filling a section 75 claim (breach of contract - goods not fully supplied) if I don't hear back by the end of today.

Is this a scam company?

Is this a scam company? Ordered 50sm2 of slabs for delivery 02/04/26. Their email had a link to track delivery and all it kept saying was ‘on way’. I did not receive a call, text or any updated information on the delivery day so at 12.30 I called. It took 3 attempts for the call to be answered, for me to then be told they were not being delivered that day as ‘the haulier is too busy’. As we had taken the following week off work to lay the slabs and Brisks were not able to tell us when the delivery would actually be I cancelled the order there and then and asked for a refund. Not overly surprised the refund of £1148 has not yet been received and all emails have gone unanswered. Have tried calling throughout the morning today but the number just rings through to a message saying ‘this mailbox is full’. Not sure if this is a scam company or if they are in financial difficulty but if they are legitimate their customer service is truly appalling. Will give it another couple of days for either an update from them or more importantly my refund, otherwise will have to put a claim through to the bank for them to chase for the money back. Regret ordering in the first place.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. Ordered a circular patio kit which was dispatched on April 1st for delivery on 8th( yesterday) . Happy to take my full payment but have failed to deliver . Have emailed twice and automated reply only to state they’re unusually busy ( surprise,surprise) ! Telephoned yesterday and phone was disconnected 3 times before being answered by a “ couldn’t give a dam” customer support officer. Her reply was to blame the haulage company employed to deliver “ they’re not very good at texting an ETA , I’ll contact them and ring you back” . Well I’m still waiting !!!!!
Today the delivery has still not arrived, no communication so I’ve tried to ring again but all I get now is the mailbox is full so can’t even speak to anyone.
So glad this purchase can be reported to my credit card company for a full refund if no response from Brisks within another 24 hours. Delivery failure has put a huge hole in our landscaping project timescale . Very very frustrating. !!!

After reading the latest reviews they all could be mine.. Brisks are useless... I have never know a company so bad with the lack of communication and the lack of ownership. Once they have your money that's it they dont care. I like the review before me made an order chose my delivery date of the 2nd April, then received an email after the delivery date to advise would be the 7th April - again like everyone else this was no good to me - what do you think the Easter break was for! Come the 7th only one bulk bag of chippings turn up, when i phoned Brisks i actually managed to get through and after a lengthy wait whilst they rang the haulier i was advised "when they find the chippings they should deliver tomorrow" so this would be the 8th - low and behold on the 8th they rocked up outside and it wasnt until after the haulier had left did i receive notificiation of the delivery!!! So now i am onto the 9th April, today, and it is 10.56hrs at time of writing this - today i am due the slabs that were ordered according to the phone call i had with Brisks back on the 7th - i have not yet received any notification of a delivery slot. Needless to say i have tried ringing Brisks back and the phone just rings out to the full memory box. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone not even my worst enemy and i will never use them again - i would rather pay more for the materials and know i am going to get them. Brisks you are a right shower and should be ashamed of yourselves.

The most useless company in the world to buy stones from. No update,no communication. They keep sitting at the office doing what they think it’s right for them,leaving customers wondering about.

Same bad experience as a lot of others recentlu…

Unfortunately all the recent 1* reviews were not there when I placed my order last week but I too have had the same experience - booked delivery for 2nd April but nothing turned up and it is impossible to get in touch with them. Emails, instagram messages and messages through their website are ignored, the phone just rings out and then says the mailbox is full. Complete waste of time and I will be seeking a chargeback through my card company, but have lost a week when I had landscapers booked in. Avoid avoid avoid
