Our experience of O2 Business has been appalling.
First, O2 allowed £6,633 of roaming data charges to accumulate during a 3-hour-50-minute airport transit, despite both phones having £50 Spend Caps. O2 confirmed its systems generated 196 notification events, yet the charges continued into thousands of pounds. We disputed the £6,633, but O2 eventually disconnected our lines and told us they would not be restored until the outstanding account was paid in full. We paid £9,058.74 under protest simply to get our business phones reconnected. The £6,633 remains formally disputed.
Now, having paid to restore them, we have had an acknowledged O2 network fault for weeks, leaving us with patchy or frequently nonexistent calls and mobile data. O2’s own texts repeatedly say they’re trying to fix it; the latest says they haven’t been able to fix the problem and won’t contact us again until they have. We need these phones to work.
And the customer service? Our experience mirrors what so many other O2 Business reviewers describe: call repeatedly, explain everything repeatedly, get promised callbacks/actions that never happen, then wait weeks for an email response—if one arrives at all.
We’ve now formally escalated the roaming matter, reported it to Ofcom and approached CISAS. We’ve also formally asked O2 either to restore the network service we’re paying for or release us from our contracts without termination charges so we can move elsewhere.
After everything that’s happened, we simply want to leave O2, get functioning business phones elsewhere, and pursue the £6,633 separately.
O2 Business: if you actually respond to your Trustpilot reviews, please have someone with authority contact us and deal with both matters properly.

UPDATE
I instantly provided the required information which was simply to verify my account, but you already had those detail details so I’m not sure why that was necessary but needless to say I have never heard another thing. CON ARTISTS. Do not use 02 or Virgin Media , this company is a scam!!!!!!!

Been with o2 for years and this is the worse customer service. Having to ring multiple times and spend many hours on the phone to explain a possible fraud situation from scratch each time is atrocious.
At one point I was even told to go to a branch to sort out, the branch said no, this should be communicated online! Even when a reference number is given I received no proper updates or details, instead a demand for further money.
On the recent call the fraud team had been provided with incorrect information from the customer advisor, which does not give any assurances.
Would not recommend O2 to anyone and will definitely be renewing elsewhere once my contract ends

One star is too generous for such a dysfunctional company. They used to be very good then they were bought by Virgin Media and everything became worse, particularly their customer service. You speak to people in India who have absolutely zero clue of how things work. Just changed phone and trying to transfer an eSIM to a new phone is a complete nightmare. They don’t even allow you to transfer you eSIM yourself between your phones via Samsung software and you end up having to received your eSIM by the post! What is the point of having an eSIM if it is sent by the post? Unprofessional company with untrained customer service and outdated systems.

I'm so angry and disappointed by this company who I've been with for over decade. I feel they've turned into a scamming system. I've been trying to contact customer service to cancel this 416 pound bill which is insane , I've never run up a bill like that, they cancelled it twice only for me to receive an email to say I have a bill to pay at the end of the month! Now I've been trying to call customer service not one number works! Not a single one not the 202, not the 8002 , not the 0800s not the o7 number for abroad customers nada! Which makes me thing it's all deliberate! How can a company as big as O2 be impossible to contact. Well December my contract is finishing and I won't be coming back taking my number with me and transferring it to something else. I'm disgusted by a company that once was worthwhile !

Would give 0 stars if I could.
I have had an ordeal with this company. I have been having issues with my phone tried to switch my contract over to my business. First they cancelled order through the courier as it was out for delivery to conduct some "extra fraud checks" , they confirmed it wasn't fraud but I would have to go through the order again including a credit check. I also had to go through separete checks to re-open my account my account through the fraud team. After going through that I finally re-ordered my phone through o2 business and done even more extra background checks, it says my order is through and Daisy and o2 have taken the deposit and set up the direct debit but not sent me any information about the phone, when I will receive it. Whoever I speak with in customer service just says I'll get the information soon, its now been 3 days and I've still not got any information, and I'm being passed between customer services agents. I would suggest using a competent provider to anyone looking for a business phone.

Moving two business mobile lines to O2 turned into a frustrating mess.
Both lines were affected during the transfer at different points, including loss of service while away from home, leaving us reliant on finding Wi-Fi simply to communicate.
The technical issues were eventually dealt with, but the complaint that followed has dragged the overall situation on for more than seven weeks.
No direct communication channel was provided for the complaint handler, so I repeatedly had to chase through Live Chat, where agents were unable to give any meaningful update on the complaint itself.
I was previously told the matter was being discussed with management, which gave me the clear impression it had already been escalated. I have now received another response saying the complaint has been escalated to a Resolutions Team, making it difficult to understand what was actually happening previously.
That same response apologised that the complaint had not yet been resolved to my satisfaction. Given the lack of updates, lack of a direct contact route and the amount of chasing required, that wording felt particularly tone-deaf.
Problems can happen, but the lack of ownership, poor communication, contradictory messaging and drawn-out complaint handling have been unacceptable for a business service.
I have also flagged this to ofcom and raised a case with Cisas as their complaint handling and customer service is non existent.
I cannot reasonably rate the experience anything other than 1 star.

No signal or Wifi calling for months! On the phone again yesterday, they said they'd call me back, I said you cannot because I don't have a signal, so they said they'd email me. I can see I had a missed call on my mobile when I entered an area with a signal.
Called back today and couldn't pass security because the lady I spoke to couldn't understand me, likewise I couldn't understand her either. She put me back in the Q to speak to someone else.
When I check the service status it says everything's ok in my area, no service issues.
Eventually go through to another agent who could understand me, and me them so passes security first time. Now sending me a new Sim card but doubt this will resolve the issue.
07/09/2026 update. Registered a complaint with them last week, haven't had an email to confirm it's been registered.
Just trying to log into a banking app on my phone, the app has sent a verification code which, won't come through so I won't be able to use my banking app.

Very very expensive if you go over your data allowance.
Longstanding business customer. We have gone over our data allowance a few times this year and we charged £26.80 per gB over the allowance resulting in massive bills. Not a happy customer. Now waiting for the contract to end so that we can leave.

Update:
After multiple failed attempts to get through to anyone in O2, I gave up and switched to BT. Took them 7 days to give me a generic response on my feedback meanwhile they will charge you out of plan fees because simply they have no one to talk to so that you can get on a plan and you cannot do it online. Think around a month chasing them as a customer to fix issues is more than enough reason to switch.
O2 business took over Daisy Telecom in my area. My bill jumps up, they say my plan has ended. I try for around a month to get in touch with the team responsible and nothing. No one picks up when you call them after waiting and waiting, no one calls back. Their online chat is helpless and just redirects you to the same people that don’t respond. You can’t manage your account online, it’s just a ridiculous trap.
Sort it out already!

I would give zero stars if I could. It pains me that I even have to give them 1 star. It is not earned nor deserved. If possible (and I'm sure it is), go with any other service provider! Hell, if no other service provider is available revert back to writing letters and connecting cans over wire. I promise you it will be a lot easier and a more enjoyable experience than having to deal with o2 Business. They genuinely have the worst customer service you'll ever experience in your life! They hate their customers. It's like their goal is to actively work against you. They at no point want to help you. Only hinder you. Only make you life and your job more difficult. I'm currently in the process of looking for a new service providing because I'm not dealing with this anymore. I feel like a victim who is finally leaving an abusive relationship.

In April, my contract with Daisy came to an end. Daisy has since been taken over by O2 Business. Sky Broadband subsequently took over my line and advised me that they would deal with Daisy on my behalf. However, I am now receiving increasingly aggressive emails, letters, and threats of legal action from Daisy regarding alleged non-payment.
It appears that Sky took over the telephone line only, and not the broadband service. When I raised this with O2 Business, I was informed that it was my responsibility to notify them that I no longer required broadband services. I dispute this position, particularly as I had been advised that Sky would manage the transfer process.
Furthermore, I understand that there is no functioning broadband system available to me through Daisy/O2 Business. I therefore do not consider it reasonable to be charged for a service that is not working, and which does not appear to be available for me to use.
I request that this matter is reviewed urgently, that any alleged outstanding balance is placed on hold while the issue is investigated, and that all threats of legal action are suspended until the circumstances have been properly clarified.
They wont even bend on this charging for a system thats not available.
Stay well away from 02 Business

I had an excellent experience with O2 Business customer service today. I called regarding a complicated billing issue that had left me extremely frustrated, but the adviser who helped me was outstanding.
He was professional, patient, intelligent and genuinely listened to my concerns. He carefully checked my account history, understood the circumstances, and even spoke with his supervisor when necessary to resolve the issues properly.
What impressed me most was that I never felt rushed or dismissed. He took ownership of the situation and worked through everything with me until we reached a fair resolution.
I started the call very unhappy with O2, but this adviser completely changed my experience. Excellent customer service and a real credit to O2 Business.
Thank you very much for your help today. You absolutely deserve 5 stars! 🌟
I wouldn't even give them one star. Their systems are useless, and although everyone I've spoken to has been really friendly, no one has actually been able to help. I've been waiting for emails back and have been trying to resolve this issue for over a month with no progress.
This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced from a large company. It's incredibly frustrating to spend so much time chasing updates without getting any closer to a resolution.

genuinely the worst customer service experience ever. and im genZ so we're not meant to even be karens about this stuff. i got lied to about my payments ending, then they decided to charge me more 3 weeks after saying i had no payments left to make 'categorically' i QUOTE. only got slightly resolved after 40 minutes on the phone to them when i cried and i hope he heard that in my voice but SO disappointed in this whole experience. if i was called hannah baker it wouldve been my 14th reason.

My O2 Business phone account was ported to Daisy without my knowledge. I initially tried to upgrade my phone but O2 business would not help me and said Daisy would contact me back. They haven't. I have repeatedly tried calling both BT Business and Daisy. I have sent requests for my PAC number, each time an automated text is sent saying this can not be done. I have spoken with a manager at O2, she says my case has been escalated and that I should have been contacted. I haven't heard anything for over 7 days. More than disgusted! My contact at O2 is Stacey Strange.

Three months ago I moved the broadband and phone services for two of my businesses to XLN (now O2 Business/Daisy). It is one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made.
On Saturday, our broadband failed due to an outage. After spending over an hour on the phone carrying out diagnostics, resetting the router and changing cables, I was finally told it was a network outage.
I was assured the service would be restored by 5pm. It wasn’t.
I called back at 6:30pm for an update, only to spend around 90 minutes on hold without getting through.
On Sunday, I was initially told the outage had been fixed and that the problem was my router. After another two hours of diagnostics, it was eventually accepted that the original outage was still the likely cause.
An Openreach engineer was booked for Tuesday between 8am and 12pm. I even rang on Monday to confirm the appointment and was told everything was booked.
Tuesday arrived and no engineer turned up.
When I called again, I was told the engineer had been cancelled because the fault had supposedly been fixed. It hadn’t. I was then told the earliest another appointment could be booked was Thursday.
By then my business will have been without broadband and phone services for almost a week.
As a gym, our phone system runs over the internet, members cannot check in electronically, and we cannot monitor who is in the building. The outage has seriously affected our ability to trade and has already cost us thousands of pounds.
The communication has been inconsistent, appointments have been cancelled without informing us, and every call seems to produce a different explanation.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend XLN, Daisy or O2 Business to any business that depends on a reliable internet connection.

What an absolute joke this company is. It is supposed to be a communications company. Communication was the last thing happening when I spoke to them today. If you can go to an alternative then do so. Customer of O2 for over 20 years. Still waiting for a credit from over a year ago from a service that was charged for but not given.

Took out a business sim card in April. Phoned on the 22nd May to cancel as was only a rolling contract. They are still billing me in July even after paying the final month. They confirmed I called on 22nd May but have no record of me requesting disconnection or any notes on what the call was about. How convenient for them to use as an excuse to carry on billing me. Same with 3 Mobile, same date, same request and same result. I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND USING EE, AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ON THE SAME DATE THEY PROCESSED MY CANCELLATION - I WOULD NOW ONLY USE EE, WHAT A GREAT COMPANY EE IS COMPARED TO THESE FRAUDULENT COMPANIES RIPPING OFF CUSTOMER.

I left this terrible telecoms provider on 23rd June. I’ve had a lot of history with them in their previous guises of XLN and Daisy. Naturally I cancelled my direct debit as my account was paid until the end of June.
Today I’ve had a letter claiming I owe £43.14 and as I’ve cancelled my DD they are adding spurious charges to the account for an unpaid DD.
This awful company has zero internal communication.
I am not paying an invoice for services starting 1st July when my phone and broadband were (thankfully) transferred to a new provider on 23rd June.
