Across the past few months I have been attempting to achieve what ought to have been a seamless change from a personal O2 account to a business account.
Not only has it been THE most poorly executed change of service (in a single business) that I have ever experienced, the pain continues.
I have had zero communication with anyone that appears to know what to do, I was without a phone service on my business phone - my only form of communication- for nearly 2 weeks (at some cost to the business!), I am not receiving monthly bills (needed for proper accounting purposes) and I am currently on the phone to customer services being told I have failed security - having given my mobile number, my name and my company's name - the only significant pieces of information required and on record!
Really O2 - get your act together .... it ought not to be this difficult to care about your customers!!

Respuesta de O2 Business
Why big companies like O2 Business and Virgin Media have the worst Customer Services ever.
Hours of phone calls with customer services and after 6 days issues not yet resolved. Some of the agents also have language and training issues
After my contract finished I was told I had £135 in credit.
After 4 telephone calls lasting on average 30 minutes and at least 4 emails to the complaints team no one has got back to me.
Apparently a cheque was sent in July it's now the end of September still no contact or cheque.
I can't believe a big company like O2 can basically steal from it's customers.
if I could rate a 0 I would AVOID AT ALL COST.
been with o2 business a while now phone randomly got barred even though the bills where up to date they couldn't reactivate my sim as apparently it is all working. when I finally got them to listen eventually they sent 3 different sim cards and E sims non of which activated. after 3 months of using partners phone to try sort this out and loosing job interviews in the process it worked but they refuse to acknowledge fault. any reimbursement I was told to contact crown communications who say they only deal with setting up contracts and not providing the services and that I should talk to o2 who say its not their contract and to contact o2 business who say its not their fault and to contact crown communication who say its not their fault call o2...….etc!!!!
now stuck in a contract till 2026 and cannot wait to leave and If you want something decent look elsewhere.
absolutely abhorrent.
DO NOT use O2 Business!
I have had an O2 Business account for around 1 year now, and in that entire time I have not been able to access 'My O2' business account online in order to manage and view my bills etc.
I have been on to and chasing O2 for this entire year and still there has been no resolution. Their customer service, despite them trying their hardest, seem incapable of achieving anything meaninful, and the tech team never follow up as promised. On the whole, a useless company with even worse customer-relations
🚫🚫🚫STAY AWAY 🚫🚫🚫
worst mobile provider.
Billed me twice, for 3 months running
Be prepared to wait at least an hour to speak to SOMEBODY.
Ended my contract months ago I'm still getting billed. 😭😭😭
I cant give 0 stars. They canceled my direct debit without telling me and after they told me my account is restricted.I put back the direct debit but they still charged me 2.50 plus VAT on my both accounts.I wanted to move to another network and now they want money. They are thieves.Avoid them or you will also be scamed by them.
Without doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with.
I am being charged for a mobile phone I do not have and to make matters worse they will not address the issue.
The are robbing me out of my money and I will be reporting them to ombudsman.
Avoid O2 Business at all costs.
They set up my Direct Debit incorrectly and failed to take any payments. When I noticed, I called them and paid the outstanding balance directly. Two weeks later, they suddenly withdrew £1,720 from my account without warning.
After countless phone calls, broken promises, and zero resolution, I can confidently say their customer service is some of the worst I’ve ever experienced.
Do yourself a favour—go elsewhere.
Its hard to run a business with O2 Business as you spend so much time on the phone trying to sort out the most basic of problems.
After 3 years I still cannot get access to my account or download (or even receive) invoices. Appalling service.
To try and resolve it will be require a min 45 min call with a polite but ultimately useless rep in the Philippines - which I simply dont have time for. This is after spending hours trying to resolve the issue with them over the past few weeks.
I have been a business customer with them since around 2007. Deal was good some handsets on deals then in 2018 decided to consider sim only. Rates were decent about 25 quid a month for 2 sims unlimited calls and text 10G of data... nothing to complain about apart perhaps the ever woefully inadequate "flash" interface in the mid 10's (finally ditched thank god). Then somewhat decent billing reports as of late. Only I never have been sold on their website and support chat was passable. Somewhat helpful customer service depending on who you got to talk to. Last contract renewal was going to double my costs so I voted with my feet and moved to Lebara. Same service (actually better) for less. Also did not fancy having to go through hoops telling O2 I changed my business name. Talking about rewarding a 20years long customer. I guess they got their money worth. Not to mention the EASY way to manage your numbers on Lebara's website customer portal.
So long. Good luck with Virgin
I have tried for more than hour to contact O2 business by phone and online chat. No result whatsoever. Have had five numbers with them for several years but it's time to move on.
O2 Business/ Airtime Solutions, two Complete corrupt companies, mis selling/ misrepresenting contracts, charge extra fees for services you've not received, customer services have one line, you still have to pay, phone blocking for none payment of services you are not receiving, then expect you to pay the balance on a contract after they have blocked your company phones, due to their billing errors. Complete useless shite company, not to mention, masts always down for repair, a failing service. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this shamble of a company, who do nothing to sort their own problems out, just threaten debt collectors and legal action for their mistakes. I can't tell you how shit this company is, theft, theft, theft is all they know.
You have been warned.
I Joined from 3 Mobile on a business contract for three mobile numbers. One number was not set up correctly when it was ported from 3 Mobile. No calls in unless from another O2 line, no SMS messages being received. (Research suggests this is not uncommon).
Reported to CS, need a new SIM, new SIM fitted, same issues. Told CS I need it to be sent to the 2nd line tech. They agreed, and then told me it will take up to 10 days! What level of Customer Service is that, especially on a business contract?
I have tried everything to get the problem resolved, including a complaint. That takes up to 28 days to get processed!
In short, once you have signed up, (a very efficient and helpful service), O2 stop caring about you or the service that you have purchased. By comparison, Vodafone tell me their SLA on faults for business customers is the next day. Guess where I am going!!!
So, my advice is, don't sign up with O2 Business. The service is not fit for purpose, and they just don't care!
O2 Business Support is extremely poor. We had no service for 8 days, I could not make or receive calls, and could only access emails or internet if connected to our Wi-Fi. This had a severe impact on our business, especially as I travel for work. We called the support desk every day, we visited 2 different stores and still no one could resolve the issue.
I was disappointed to learn that stores can no longer support business customers, and none of their social media channels can assist either. Managers do not return calls and the technical team can take up to 10 days to deal with your issue. I find this service appalling and have submitted a complaint.
Customer Support that's a joke avoid O2 if you are thinking of moving your business mobile account over to them
Terrible customer service. it took me 2 hours just to request an eSim.
Switched from Vodafone to O2 Business and I have been on the phone with O2 for the last 5 weeks trying to fix the fact that I'm not receiving text messages. I have called 12-15 times by now, to each time hear the same broken record. Been told several times I would be called back by technicians and supervisors, which hasn't happened once.
This is affecting severely my business, not to mention the waste of time on the phone, up to 2 hours at one time.
Looking for legal advice to get compensation for caused loss of business.
Filed a complaint 2 weeks ago, still waiting to hear back.
Dreadful.
Don't use this is you want to go abroad, not only does it take an extremely complex call to customer support to even activate roaming bolt on, it's then £7.50 per day for 500mb data.
Utterly inept and useless as with absolutely everything to do with this pitiful and inept company. I hope the entire company goes bust and everyone that works there runs out of hot water when next in the shower AFTER they have lathered their hair. Seriously, they are at the absolute apex of everything that is wrong with corporate outsourced tech led useless customer service.
