Lots of potential, but not there yet

Sadly, I would love to give a higher score. But exports of visit lists and invoices etc are not editable. This means that for people with a visual impairment, I am having to develop my own templates to print these in large print, in high contrast etc. I have asked several times if this can be looked at, and all I'm told is that it's not on the list at the moment but it might be considered at some point in the future. In the meantime, I'm duplicating tasks for people who are unable to see the small font used in the templates (which, to my eye, look to be around 9pt). It hasn't reduced admin time when it comes to preparing visit lists and invoices for people with visual impairments who do not have a device they can use to support them (i.e. a screen reader).

I do completely understand the frustration this must be causing you, however I am really pleased to share with you that on our current roadmap we have the following planned to develop "Configurable font sizes for PDF exports, in particular allowing larger font sizes".

Please feel free to contact the support team so that they can share the full road map with you as we do have some exciting things coming. Also, talk to the team about the issues you are having with visit lists as we may already have a solution for that for you.

Excellent support and training

I had another excellent training and support session today with Lewis Harman from CareLineLive. We covered a wide range of important areas including split schedules, NDSA agreements, assessments, care planning, documents, client reviews, training, and the training matrix.

Lewis was extremely professional, calm, knowledgeable, and approachable throughout the session. He explained everything clearly and in a very practical way, making complex processes much easier to understand and implement confidently within the system.

What really stands out is the level of ongoing support and patience provided. The session was very well structured, informative, and tailored to what we needed as a domiciliary care provider.

CareLineLive is an excellent system, and having support from people like Lewis makes a huge difference in helping providers fully utilise all the features effectively.

Highly recommended.

Must have for care agencies. Excellent technical support and all information held under one App. Not only will It support management but also staff. The EMar will prompt to ensure that all medication is administered timely. Enabled audits to be completed and will also highlight when call have been missed or staff are running late for the call.

Unhelpful system for families

My Dad’s carers have recently moved to Care Line Live. I often don’t get to see any notes so all I see is a list of tasks. Previously they used Birdie which was brilliant - I always saw notes, it gave info on his mood, physical and mental health, the % of his meals he’d eaten and so on. The transfer to Care Line has hindered rather than helped. I appreciate for the care co it may be a great system but for the family of the client it’s created stress, worry and means I have to spend daily time with my Dad just to fill in the gaps left by Care Line. I don’t mind spending time with him but for my own health and well-being I had hoped to have more “me time”.

EDIT: To be clear I do have access to the portal but still can't see the notes

Thanks for your review. I can understand how frustrating this must be for you. However, CareLineLive does have the Care Circle Portal which allows you to view these notes. I would encourage you to ask the provider for an invite, you will then be given access to read the notes. This access is provided and granted by the provider, not by us. As with access to the platform as a whole being granted, customers are also able to use permissions to edit what can and can’t be seen by users of the care circle, such as notes, tasks etc.

Lewis was very helpful and immediately understood the problem I was experiencing with the contracts default set up. Lewis was patient and explained how to try different options to suit our billing needs. Lewis made good suggestions that was not problem solving but explaining how it could benefit us, for example using their online training tool.

We have been using CarelineLive for 6 years and our experience has been very positive. The platform is extremely useful, well-designed, and supports day-to-day care management efficiently.

What really stands out is their support team — they are responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. And they do answer the phone. Any queries or issues are dealt with quickly and professionally, which makes a big difference when running a care service.

Overall, CarelineLive is a reliable, user-friendly system that adds real value to our operations. Highly recommended for care providers looking for a robust digital solution.

Definite upgrade from our previous rostering system

We have recently moved over to Careline Live from a previous provider and the transition has been simple. The whole system has been a revelation in terms of ease of use for the office, carer's and client's. I seem to have so much more time on my hands to be able to achieve other important admin tasks rather than our previous poorly managed system!
The help and support from the team when we have struggled with something has been second to none, they seem to go above and beyond. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the switch to CareLine live to anyone sitting on the fence.

For three months now

For three months now, I've been utilizing this app, and while there are aspects I adore, it's quite inflexible and doesn't cater to everyone’s needs. Unfortunately, their customer support isn't very helpful, as they often perceive suggestions as negative feedback. The team could improve by being more receptive to customer input. Although the app has the potential to be fantastic, I've decided to stop using it until they recognize that a single approach doesn't suit everyone.

Can be improved

I have been using the application for 3 months, there are bits l love and the application is so rigid its a not a one size fits all and their team cannot help, customer services is really bad, they take new ideas as criticism they need to need to listen to their customer and it has room to be a great app but currently dropping them until they know one size does not fit all.

A highly comprehensive system for care providers which is hugely customisable to meet your individual needs and those of your client base. Care Circle is a fantastic tool, allowing us to easily share relevant information with clients, families and other health and social care providers.
