I took Mum out for a test drive of the new Super-N in the hope that I could convince her to trade in her old Jazz. Csilla was very helpful and friendly. Test drove a Chrry Tiggo 7 PHEV on my birthday and decided to purchase one. All throughout the process, Oliver from Blackpool Chery was helpful, informative and professional.
During the handover of the car, everything was explained to me in depth so that I would fully understand my new car. Oliver was there all throughout the process from the test drive, to the purchasing of the car fo the handover and I couldn't have asked for any better.
Overall, the experience of purchasing a car from Blackpool Chery was outstanding thanks to the team and especially Oliver for helping us out with everything.

If you have a gut feeling about walking away from a Dealer, then go with your gut 😀

I wish I went with my gut feeling and walked away from
Southport Chery (Cox Motor Group) and the Chery car brand.
From being told I was wasting the Salesman's time, to receiving a car not fit for purpose, it has ruined my experience, and I am paying for it now 😩

Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV
- Steering is veering to the left (was in Dealer and Wheels Aligned twice, but no fix as it was the same when I drove out of the Dealer).
- Sunroof has a rattling noise all round it when closed (Dealer said no fault found).
- Drivers Seat moves when accelerating, braking and turning. (Dealer said no fault found)
- Knocking noise in boot compartment (Dealer tightened locking mechanism, but it has just made it worse, as it clunks very loudly when opening and closing the boot).
- Paintwork chipped on a rear door handle (they replaced the handle after 4 months).
- Noise coming from the from the front wheels, that sounds like a bird is in there.
- The Supagard that was applied on the inside looks like a 2 year old slapped it on.

I rejected the car after 29 days, but the Dealer said they would replace it for me, as a 'gesture of goodwill'. They said they would need £500 extra for the newer car. I stupidly agreed to do this (but not the extra £500, as I know they made at least £3000 on my Part Exchange when they sold it).
This was in March.

I have now been advised that I can still exercise my rights to Reject the car, which I told the Dealer I would be doing but Southport Chery are saying they do not accept the rejection.
I am also going through the Finance Company's complaints procedure, and the Financial Ombudsman. I have also created a Facebook Page, if anyone would like to visit:

I really did not need all this stress, and should have been enjoying a new car.

I have now asked for a refund on the Service Plan I purchased, and was told it would take 2-3 weeks, as Chery would need to refund them first. This is incorrect, as my transaction was with them, but I will give them the time.

Elliott and Mike were excellent. Elliott took us all through the sales process, gave us a test drive in a similar car and answered all our questions. We have known Mike for several years and he facilitated the transaction perfectly.

I enjoyed the experience of changing my car here. The process was both friendly and professional. I was impressed by the staff, particularly Nick and Olly.
