What do I do with these rolled up straws?
We've had your Cupple for a couple of years now and they still looks like new. Thought I'd upgrade to a straw lid for better ability to drink whilst on the go. A lather large box arrived today. Okay, I thought before opening. A little excessive but I suppose they have to accommodate the straw. Wrong. The straws were curled tightly inside the lid themselves. Bit of a surprise. Crinkly bent straws which won't reach the bottom of the water bottle in their current state, yet I can't find any guidance as to what to do with them. Will they straighten up in time? Do I soak them in warm water to return them to their pre-rolled state? And why on earth was such a big box needed?

Thank you so much for your review. Regarding the straw being tucked inside the lid, this should straighten out and work perfectly in time. It just allows us to ship things more effectively and not waste on shipping space when we bring our stock from China to the UK.
Regarding the use of a box to ship this item to you, you are absolutely right that this was unnecessary. We are currently carrying out an audit with our warehousing team to figure out the best way to ship these out. Your review has actually really helped us dive deeper into this area and ensure that we're not using unnecessary material to send such small items. We will be exploring using padded envelopes to ship these going forward. We just need to make sure that there is enough space for the shipping label.

Definitely not a gimmick
I’m a big fan of water bottles and coffee cups and have a large collection. However, since coming across Cupple this has been my go to for when I’m volunteering or on a day out.
The clever design means I do not have to try and find space for a bottle and cup, and this has been a real game changer.
The cup is perfectly sized for my flat white order, and I often end up in conversation about it when I pull my hidden cup out. I have also used the outer sleeve as a cold drink cup too!
I’ll be honest, when I saw and purchased it (because I loved the idea) I did worry it would be gimmicky and I’d soon loose interest, but this really hasn’t been the case.
I will also say that the customer service is amazing, they are so helpful which just adds to the product’s charm.

Cupple are just brilliant
Cupple are just brilliant. I waited to get one once they had the straw lid. Loved it for my car; to have both water and coffee options works so well. It's so worth it.
On top of it being a fantastic product, the customer service is outstanding. I had my coffee cup annoyingly nicked, and they dealt with it so well. Brilliant company and product. Will be buying as a present for friends and family very soon! Definitely deserves a repeat purchase.

Great design, great product, great company.
Great product and company. I had a delivery issue which took some time to sort out but I'm so happy with the product it was worth the wait. I've been using mine every day for months and am hoping to buy one each for my son and daughter-in-law. As long as you don't overdo the turns when putting all 3 units together it works fine and keeps water nice and chilled. The carry sling is great and frees up space in my bag or allows me to leave a handbag at home if my keys, phone and card will fit in my pockets, it's all I need as there's room in the outer net pockets of the sling for lip balm etc. The hot drink cup is the perfect size for me. Altogether a brilliant design, well done to Amanda and Eve and Nick and Michael. 👌

How did I live without this bottle until now?!
Love the finish clean look of the bottle.
A little on the heavy side, if you are a handbag user, but it is worth it!
Insulation for the cold water, good even if the coffee cup removed.
Down side is the smell of the silicone cup lid, waiting that it takes a coffee smell and it will be fine!
Have been using this for 1 week and fully satisfied with this purchase.

Really pleased to hear you’re enjoying the clean design and that it’s already become a go-to after just a week. You’re right that there’s a bit more weight compared to a standard bottle, but that comes from combining both elements into one, so it replaces carrying two separate items.
On the silicone lid, that’s a helpful point. A quick rinse with warm soapy water or a light baking soda wash every now and then should sort that out.

The Cupple has taken over and replaced my million travel mugs and bottles that I usually carry. Having one unit to grab in the morning makes everything so much easier!! A really premium great quality set.

Faulty locking mechanism
I purchased the bottle for Christmas. Great colour and clever design. Very impressed - until I started using it!
The lower cup doesn't fix securely (spins 360degrees) and regurally falls off. I emailed the company, but I am still waiting for a reply.
Although minor, the second issue was only discovered when I attempted to buy a take-away coffee from the garage - the cup was too small.
It is such a clever design, but the locking mechanism needs to change. I think I will need to organise a refund

The screw function to get to cup is loose
The screw function to be able to take out and use the cup is extremely loose (today is my first use). It has slipped off several times. I have concerns what will happen after a period of time

Great bottle, 1 snag!
I received this as a Christmas gift and was very excited Generally the cup does what it says and I love the design of it. My only issue with it is that the outer cup falls off fairly often. I did contact the company about this and they said I was over-rotating it. However I am still having the issue even when not over rotating it. It's a bit of a pain when it comes apart and falls on the floor. The sipper got damaged in one of these falls but is still usable. It would be great if the outer shell clipped together more securely some how.

We responded to your email to request your order number to establish what happened with your order but we have not heard from you, as the email address you messaged from was not the email address you placed your order with.
However, we have looked up your order number using your name and can confirm that you ordered a replacement water bottle only and not a full Cupple. That is why you only received the bottle and not the rest of the parts that make up a full Cupple.

You’re right that we launched our new accessories, including an updated flip straw bottle lid and a sealable coffee cup lid, not too long after your purchase. These came out around 2 months after your order. They were designed to give customers more flexibility based on feedback we’d gathered over time. The good news is that they’re available separately, so you can upgrade your existing Cupple setup without needing to buy a whole new one.

I’d give this idea a million points! It’s clever, useful, and a huge space-saver since you always have it with you. The materials feel premium, and the powder-coated finish looks great.
However, the execution still needs some development. My main concern is the 'materialization'—the inside of the bottle has an unwelded seam where I can see bacteria eventually building up. Additionally, the outer sleeve doesn't close properly on one side; even when shut, there’s a gap that looks 'off.' Finally, the air hole on the lid is too large, causing coffee to splash out even when it’s supposed to be closed. This might just be a defect with my specific unit, but it’s worth noting.

Regarding your bacteria concerns, we always recommend thorough cleaning with a bottle brush. Water bottles are the perfect nesting ground for germs. We offer an eco-friendly cleaning brush on our website that is non-scratch and perfect for cleaning the inside of your Cupple.
Regarding the outer sleeve fit, it’s important that all parts are pressed firmly into place. In particular, please ensure the cup is pressed down firmly on top of the lid before reassembling the unit. This helps the sleeve align and close properly without any visible gaps.
For the air hole splashing, this is necessity for the cup to function properly but we really appreciate you flagging this, we are reviewing this feedback as we consider future iterations of the product.
