We as a family found the staff from Forsters Funeral Services to be very helpful,caring and considerate. Any special requests we wanted were always met. Darran was treated with the upmost respect at all times. On the day of the funeral, Jamie was a real gentleman in the way he handled things.

Totally impressed by it all especially funeral director Amy! Everything I requested was delivered even though some might be considered 'out there' I wanted a very specific funeral arrangement and I got it! Kudos to Amy, give her a pay rise!

We chose Robert Ayling to take care of our Dad after he passed and to direct his funeral. I dealt with Stuart from start to finish. He was professional and very supportive throughout the process. For someone who has never dealt with organising a funeral, Stuart helped and provided guidance that resulted in a lovely send off for my Dad. They did everything as best they could to accommodate our family wishes and we will be forever grateful for the care they provided to Dad after his passing. Thank you for bringing some light in the toughest of times.

Losing my mother-in-law, my children’s grandmother, was an incredibly difficult time. Saying goodbye in a respectful and loving way was very important to us, and the team at Wiltons /Dignity treated us like family. Their care, support, and guidance meant so much, and I cannot thank them enough for being there for us every step of the way.

We were very happy with what was offered and the final arrangements that were made to give mum a great send off.
All aspects of the arrangements were handled with care and compassion and nothing was left to chance. A great all round funeral service.

Also the flexibility of the plan and full money back guarantee along the way if anything happens whilst paying.
I can only hope none of the negative reviews happen after I've gone.

So far, so good. Setting up a funeral plan for our Mother with Dignity was simple and made less daunting by the staff (@ a B.S.E., Suffolk funeral directors). Set aside a couple of hours especially if you decide to take out a plan in the day. Hoping for some time before we have need to use the plan, but that’ll be when we find out how good it all is.

It was very easy to set up, everything explained thoroughly on the phone. Payment was easy to do on the phone too, all easy.
Agent was very professional and friendly. Very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information. We can recommend Dignity and we chose a local funeral director. Generally satisfied and happy that it's all in place.

My plan was taken out with Dunfords Lancing. Really professional and caring attitude. We have been using this company over the years and cannot fault their service.

My mother had a funeral plan with a company which folded. It was taken on by Dignity who advised that nothing would change. Upon her death we placed her with her chosen funeral directors, however when we contacted Dignity we were told that if they were to honour the plan, we would have to move her to an alternative funeral director. Despite our distress they refused to accommodate her dying wishes and we lost all of the money she paid. Absolute nightmare!

Friendly, compassionate, informative and helpful team were a pleasure to deal with. My parents chose Dignity Funeral Plans for theirs and my Dad sadly passed away almost a year ago. But it lifted a weight from the shoulders of the family knowing he had already indicated what he wanted and my Mum has her plan still in place. She said they took these out to relieve the worry on me and my sister. This made me determined to pay for my own plan and get it set up. Monthly payment options mean the impact on purchase is minimised and it felt empowering to make my own choices and file the completed plan alongside my Will. I can now get on with living, knowing I have done my life 'housekeeping'!

It was not made clear to me, when I spoke to Dignity that I had lost all the money paid to date, when they took over. Apparently they told me, when I called to see what was going on. I don't think they did, and the forms sent me do not make that clear. Nowhere on my plan does it say when my time with Dignity started.
Uses the Capital life plan as a start of plan, 2019, and quotes the amount paid to date as £975.33
Go elsewhere, somewhere more honest.
I found this out today on the 15/05/2025 because to calendar below is beyond me.

Easy on-line service to obtain a basic & cheep funeral plan.

An excellent, professional, personal, compassionate and caring service from John Bargetts. All staff members went out of their way to support our family following the deaths of 2 close family members, guiding us and listening to our wishes. Louise and Natalie are both amazing and an assett to the comoany and their profession.. I can not recommend them highly enough.

I lost my dad unexpectedly. He had no funeral plans in place. This was the first funeral I had planned. Lorraine is absolutely fantastic and is the glue that holds everything together. Her care was genuine and her emotional support helped get me through a very difficult time. She talked me through planning the funeral clearly. She supported me when visiting my dad. She took the time to listen to how I was feeling and offered wise advice. She helped me make hard decisions like the pictures we picked. She just made the whole process run much smoother and easier. She made sure my every request was fulfilled. Thank you so much Lorraine. All staff were lovely and welcoming. Building was very clean and tidy.
