Worst service ever!
WOW, I don't know where to start. This company has earned it's title as the WORST delivery service in the world!
They recieved two parcels from a seller on the 6th January, which was for an item of furniture. On the 12th January they finally got around to delivering parcel one of two. They somehow managed to lose parcel two of two, despite it being of significant size!
The seller then used a more competent company to successfully deliver parcel two of two.
On the 17th January, almost two weeks later they managed to find the second parcel. When they woke us up at 8am on Saturday morning I patiently explained that we had been asked to refuse delivery by the sender and asked that it be returned.
This did not deter DX. Today, while we were out, they again attempted delivery, despite being clearly told we were refusing delivery! They then trespassed through my gate and dumped the parcel in my back garden.
They are now refusing to return and collect the parcel and are telling me that it's my responsibility to contact the sender and get them to arrange collection.
Do yourself a favour and never give this awful company a penny of your hard-earned cash!
Avoid like the plague
Their driver lied and said that he attempted a delivery. The premises is surrounded by CCTV and all doorbell interactions are logged. No attempt was made. It's impossible to speak to anyone in customer service. Do not not do business with these people
Absolutely useless and incompetent
Absolutely useless and incompetent. Arranged a date for delivery and waited in all day.The item was taken off the van as they were carrying too much stock! Arranged a second delivery day and waited all day again. At 4.30pm, I contacted DX and asked if the could track my package. No, they couldn't do that and couldn't guarantee that it would arrive. This was despite a text telling me it was with the courier and would be delivered on my chosen day.
Yhey asked me if I wanted to choose a third day to sit and wait for them to fail to deliver !!
I phoned Pebble Grey, the company I bought the item from and they weren't much better. I ended up cancelling the item and requesting a full refund. I bet it gets back to them without any problems.
Ten days overall from ordering something that would never arrive.
Do not use this company.
Bad, avoid
Like others if I could mark zero stars l would as arrived four days late. Full of excuses why your item does not arrive each day from not even trying to deliver to road closures. Only resolved by contacting the merchant to get them to sort out.
Cowboy Couriers
If I could give this company negative stars I would. For the second time in a few weeks I have had to complain to both the online shop I ordered goods from and DX themselves about the lack of service from this cowboy courier service. Got an email from the online shop to say my parcels had been dispatched and are with the courier. Got an email and text from Dx to say 1 of my parcels would be delivered between 13.19- 15.19 on Thursday 16th. I never left my house all day. I went on to the tracking and seen where the driver was. He went to loads of areas but not mine. At 1600 I received a text to say they attempted delivery at 15.54. Hmm no you didn’t as you never even came to my village let alone my house.
Why if both my parcels were dispatched at the same time that only one was out for delivery. Where is the 2nd one and when is it to be delivered? This is the 2nd time in a few weeks the exact same has happened 2 parcels ordered and dispatched at the same time. Only 1 out for delivery. The other arrived 7 days later. First attempted without even coming to my house. When they did eventually arrive. The courier parked in front of my house opened the side door of his van and started throwing and kicking parcels around his van. A truly shocking act with peoples packages. A truly awful courier company. I have told my online shop to change their courier or they will not only lose my custom but others who have had the same shocking experience with these cowboys. These guys make Evri look good and everyone knows how bad they are.

so my delivery has been out for delivery the past 5 days and it has never arrived or an explanation as to what has happened. You cannot speak to anyone as it’s just a chatbot asking you to re book. Still no delivery!!

Worse than even the other abismal delivery companies.
Every day is out for delivery but it never arrives.
Totally incompetent company
CHATBOT Is Artificial Dumbness in the extreme and is less than no help at all.
Phone help is less than no help at all and designed for you to change the delivery date to MASSAGE THEIR STATS.
Update 16/01: Following a long chat session with DX Express yesterday the item magically arrived today however the battery has arrived completely damaged.
Absolute waste of time
This company is a disgrace
This company is a disgrace and I'm appalled that a reputable company such as Decalthlon would utilise their services. The fact that I was supposed to receive my order last Thursday and a week later I still haven't, makes me never want to purchase anything from Decathlon again! Twice they didn't show up when delivery was to my address. I then changed the address to my parents house for today's delivery as they have a 'Ring' doorbell and guess what, they didn't show up again, yet on the tracking system the message reads 'we were unable to access the address'. A massive lie, because they never even showed up.
Worse than Hermes
I did not think it was possible but there is actually a Courier worse than Hermes, here it is DXExpress.
I am tempted to start litigation proceedings against this incompetent outfit.
Appalling delivery service . . .
To date, DX Express has failed seven times to deliver a package. Each time I receive a text & an email stating they were unable to deliver and inviting me to suggest a new date. Both myself and my wife have been at home all the time. At no time, DX has not come near nor by our house. Yesterday (and on other days), I tracked the van, along with a customer care assistant from the supplier. At one point, the van was less than half a mile away, but turned & proceeded in the opposite direction from our house. Similar behaviour has been tracked on several occasions.

If no stars was an option then that’s what I’d give. How useless are you if you can’t even deliver a passport to someone. I think it’s negligent to outsource deliveries to a bunch of plonkers who had my passport in their van with a bed delivery. I’m super unimpressed and I can’t believe that a company whose only job is to deliver , can’t do it. If I had time and energy I would sue them. 😡 DONT ever use them.

A cliche, but if I could give negative stars, I would. This company is incompetent and should be barred from delivering anything. They gave me a time window, so I cancelled my plans for the day, opened the gates and waited in. They sent me a text to say they had missed me and that they had left a card. No card was found by me. Arranged delivery for next day and they wouldn't give me a time window, so have had to sit in all morning. I have just received a text to say they are "unable to deliver" today and to rearrange yet another delivery day. Spent 32 minutes on hold on the phone, with no answer to try and speak with them. No response to email or contact forms. qaTotally unacceptable. Will be contacting the vendor that used them to advise them to use someone else.
Terrible company, with delivery people pretending they attempted to deliver when they did not.
SMS communication is very good, ironically, with several txt messages being sent telling when to expect the delivery. However, 5 minutes before the delivery slot expired, I received another SMS saying they were unable to deliver the item. I spent all morning for delivery and there's a concierge in my building who receives parcels (and visible from the building entrance). Nobody from DXExpress rang my apartment buzzer or reached out to the concierge, who was sitting at the front desk at the alledged time of delivery attempt.
HOW DOES THIS COMPANY STAY IN BUSINESS ?
What a shocking excuse for a courier company ! They are so bad, that they make EVRI & DPD look good ! They have had my parcel in thier system for 2 weeks . The tracking just keeps going round in circles. No movement, no updates. Waited for over an hour to speak to customer services. Just to get fobbed off with some blah blah blah . I would give minus stars if I could.

AN ABSOLUTE ABOMINATION OF A COMPANY.
Received a message notification at 08.32am that our item “will be arriving today”. No time window was specified so we waited in all day. Then at 16.19pm we received ANOTHER message that the item would NOT be arriving / and that WE needed to contact THEM !! So we rang immediately…..but no one answered the phone, and it went dead at 17.00pm (when they close - very convenient!!!). We rang again first-thing the following morning, and after an endless amount of waiting on the phone (and repetitive music) an agent finally answered. After giving her the tracking number she informed us that the driver had stated that we had REFUSED DELIVERY of the item !!! TOTAL UTTER LIES!!!!!!! (we assumed that the driver couldn’t be bothered, and went back to base because they finish at 17.00pm). The agent then informed us that our item had been put into ‘storage’ but didn’t know where !!!! We strenuously denied refusing delivery several times — and after checking their GPS system the agent confirmed that the driver had been nowhere near our home address !!!!! The agent promised to investigate, find out where the item was, and call us back. GUESS WHAT ?? Yep — no one bothered to call us back (despite us calling them again and again without any further explanations). SO……we did our own detective work, travelled to the nearest Depot (where we assumed the driver would have dumped our item), and spoke with the DX Express staff there. TOTALLY USELESS AND UNPROFESSIONAL, NO SYSTEM WHATSOEVER, and DESPITE giving them the tracking number AND our postcode they were TOTALLY CLUELESS and had “no idea” where our item was. SO, we dug our heels in, DEMANDED our item be found, and (two hours later) we successfully drove home WITH the item. Needless to say the entire experience left us feeling incredibly angry and totally exhausted. THIS COMPANY IS AN ABSOLUTE 100% ABOMINATION, A TOTAL JOKE, AND THE BEST THING THAT THEY COULD DO TO PLEASE THEIR CUSTOMERS IS TO CLOSE DOWN. WITHOUT DOUBT, THE VERY WORST COURIER COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. NOT EVEN WORTH ONE STAR. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Terrible delivery service and communication
I recently purchased some fishing gear from angling direct and they use this delivery company. I was promised 3-5 working days and today it’s now it’s 8th day and yet it’s still not here. The communication is terrible with customers. I have only recently been told that my delivery is scheduled for a few days time and when calling the depot they didn’t even pick up the phone to arrange collection. When buying something online make sure the courier isn’t DX Express.
