All of the Care Assistants who worked with Mum were extremely professional and always had a friendly, cheerful manner.
Their care, compassion, and attention to Mum’s wellbeing were incredibly reassuring, not only for Mum but for the whole family.
Each Care Assistant brought such positive energy with them on every visit, lifting Mum’s spirits and creating a warm, encouraging atmosphere in our home.
I can’t recommend ECL highly enough. Mum is so grateful for all the encouragement, patience, and support she received, which helped her regain her confidence and independence around the home. We will always be thankful for the kindness and dedication shown by the entire team.

Mum has just started one day a week at Millicents Day Centre. The staff are friendly, patient and caring. It’s reassuring to know that Mum is being well cared for in a safe, secure environment with plenty of staff to keep her occupied with activities.

My grandson was interviewed by Linda Lloyd, inclusive employment screening officer. My grandson has autism and finds it hard to understand what people say to him if it is unfamiliar.
Linda explained everything to him, repeating questions in a way he could understand. She was very patient and calm and made him feel relaxed.

My Mother has been attending Millicents day centre for a few years. This is really an exceptional place for elderly people. The staff are brilliant with her and each day they run various activities, while monitoring her closely and making sure all her needs are met. The building itself is well maintained and it’s bright and airy, unlike some other care provisions. The food is also very good and they tailor the food to her health needs. I would highly recommend it for any looking for a social activity for their elderly relative.

My brother in law has been attending Millicents Day Care for a few years now and never once has he had a bad day or come home unhappy. The staff are great, patient and kind. I know Colin's needs are met, his interested cater for and he feels safe and secure when he attends. He has made many friends at the centre and has fun playing games or just sitting chatting which he loves to do. His dietary needs are always met. The staff always take Colin's diabetes in to account when giving Colin meals or snacks. On the whole, I know Colin loves his 3 days at Millicents and I get some respite without worrying about him as I know he is in safe hands. It's a brilliant service.

Dads recently been attending ECL Loughton/Debden & its great for him (and family) - He needed to settle in but it gets him out the house, mental stimulation, exercise, social interaction, breakfast, lunch, games, pub lunches - all with friendly professional staff - thank you

The care my Mum received was above and beyond any service I have encountered. Every member of staff put my mum at ease . On the last day of her care , she had 2 episodes of collapsing. The young lady who was one of the carers present was amazing . She assisted the ambulance crew, provided dignity to my Mum , whilst staying with her until she was put into the ambulance. Even helping the crew to lift the trolley over steps to get my Mum out. I don’t know what I would have done without the support of the carer. There are not enough stars I could give to every member of staff who supported my Mum

The experience is that my husband as a great time with his peers and staff motivate him to keep his independence and face challenges in a safe environment

The initial meeting with Linda was so refreshing. Linda and ECL were efficient, warm and friendly. Looking forward to next steps with ECL.

ECL has changed my life, for the better.

I came to ECL feeling lost, unsure of what direction to take next. I had gotten most of my jobs in my life (over the past twenty years) on my own, specifically focused on hospitality. After my last job ended at a theater and feeling traumatised by the experience in Colchester, I was feeling all over the place. I wasn't sure where to try to get a job next in Colchester, it was a daunting time. So I turned to ECL in the hopes of some support to help steer me into a new direction, I had no clue what that direction would look like. But along comes my work coach Erika Schwegmann-Fielding, this person took the time to get to know me and my strengths and quirks. She changed my life in a way I could never have imagined by putting me in contact with a company that now give me work that is fulfilling and a great sense of pride for the first time in my life. I will always be grateful for Erika for thinking of me for this opportunity. She's a very friendly, supportive type that encourages us to go for it, and genuinely believes in us. For the first time in my 40 years of living, I feel like I have a future and that I'm doing something very rewarding as a consultant going out there and educating the masses to help shift the perception of autistic individuals into a more positive light and has also educated and taught me valuable things about myself as an autistic and ADHD adult in the process. Thank you ECL and especially thank you, Erika.

I have visited ECL Loughton a few times now and it has always been a happy, pleasant and welcoming experience. The staff are dedicated and very motivated to genuinely interact and engage with those attending. I would not hesitate to recommend this centre.

ECL has been a huge help in building my confidence and supporting me on my journey into employment. They helped me improve my interview skills, gave me the encouragement to apply for jobs that I might not have considered otherwise, and provided support throughout the application process.

My employment consultant, Wendy Arnold, was particularly supportive. She was always encouraging, patient, and understanding of my needs. Wendy helped me prepare for interviews, improve my applications, and gave me the confidence to put myself forward for opportunities. Her support and guidance made a real difference and helped me believe in my own abilities.

Thanks to the support from Wendy and the ECL team, I was able to successfully find a job, which is something I am very proud of. I would highly recommend ECL to anyone looking for support with employment, confidence building, and developing the skills needed to find work.

Millicent’s day centre .Extremely informative all staff absolutely lovely caring and tentative all activities thoroughly enjoyable and throughout for all the visitors needs . My dad had a taster session yesterday and he really enjoyed it had a lovely lunch interacted with all of the activities and when he left blew all the lovely staff kisses as a daughter whom he no longer knows who I am it made my day xx

I have found the experience of ECL to be exceptional. My Autism Employment Consultant. Radhya Khan. Has been wonderful in helping me find a job. Radhya and Abbey Meech. A job broker. Helped me find out about a crossing guard job not to far from where I live. Abbey introduced me to gill who over sees the crossing guard service, I found a much better understanding of what was expected of me in the role. If it wasn't for Radhya, Abbey, and Carol Basri, who Radhya took over the role and continued to help and support me in work. I would have struggled in whare to start. A great service.

The staff have been great help in finding work and with improving my CV and helping me get better at interviews. They're a great help and have even helped by making me not feel too hung up on jobs rejecting me.
I am now employed, thanks to their help, and I couldn't have done it without their support.

I cannot say enough good things about Oliver and the team at ECL Loughton. The coffee morning yesterday was great! My Nan enjoyed it so much. The singer was brilliant and put a smile on everyone’s faces! I love taking her they’re so patient and supportive that I always know she’s in the best care. Thank you all for everything you do for Nan it’s always noticed and appreciated! X
