The product is very good, but the time from order to delivery can be very slow.

Efficient service, easy to use

This was delivered quickly and in good order. It is as described - little squares of cardboard compressed into bags - one bag contains a good quantity of bedding . It is dust-free and absorbant. It's also great that it can be used as compost within a short time, unlike wood shavngs/sawdust - great for the polytunnel (and compost worms love cardboard). Two of my llamas are elderly with quite severe joint problems and I have found that it does go quite flat and relatively hard when they lie on it, even when I make it quite thick - It tends to slide from under them a bit and they are quite stiff when they stand up the mornings compared to when they have had thick soft paper bedding. The paper bedding from our local supplier is, however, 3 times more expensive so I've mixed it with the Ecobale bedding and this makes a them a soft nest again and they are fine. This is not really a criticism because I think that it is a great bedding for healthy animals without problems (softer than lying on grass outside etc which is natural) and my healthy llamas are happy sleeping on it as well as digging and rolling on it.
The used bags make good secondary covers for delicate plants in the polytunnel.in winter.

Excellent product and swiftly delivered but badly packed - courier called to say pallet had fallen over and had to be restacked; two burst bags. Otherwise very easy and clean to use and my horses love it.

Fab as always, just wish the middle man courier (parcel 2 go) would provide the ACTUAL couriers tracking number in the tracking email. They said parcel was expected between 9-5:30, I live chatted to them (parcel 2 go) as it was nearly at the end of the day and nothing had arrived, they mentioned something about another courier, so I asked who is my parcel ACTUALLY being delivered by, they said Parcel Force, and parcel force provide LIVE tracking, I asked for the tracking number, which they provided me with. Why don't they just provide it in the first place? I know this isn't an Ecobale issue but I felt it needed a mention. If you need ACTUAL tracking, live chat with parcel 2 go and request the proper tracking number

Pleased to say that our recent problem was resolved satisfactorily and is unlikely ever to happen again. There was an element of the website user experience that caused unnecessary confusion for new hauliers; this has now been rectified and in a timely manner. We would not hesitate to recommend Ecobale as a quality bedding for sensitive horses and have been using it happily for several years. Thank you to Mike for dealing with this.

Great product, shipping is expensive but needs must. I use it for guinea pigs, super absorbent and dust free, so just what they need

Fantastic bedding. Horses love it and it is very easy to muck out. Really absorbent and hardly any smell. Also quick and easy to order and literally arrived two days later.

Good quality bedding at a reasonable price and it was delivered on time I would recommend ecobale and will definitely be buying again
