A Difficult Job Well Done

We purchased a pair of expensive leather swivel manual recliner chairs with wooden bases and frames. Disappointingly, they arrived with the woodwork a different colour than ordered so we reordered and received the correct coloured woodwork.

Brian from Emmiera arrived to fit the replacement woodwork. He'd phoned beforehand and arrived at his stated time. He got to work straightaway on our chairs but after some time it seemed he was having trouble dismantling the seats from the wooden frames.

It transpired that the threads in the internal fixings inside one of the chairs had been stripped during manufacture meaning he was unable to remove the bolts necessary to separate the chair and mechanism from the frame. He ended up having a much more complicated job to do than any of us realised.

However, Brian persevered and successfully fitted the two new wooden frames after much extra work and our chairs now look fantastic! Thank you so much Brian!

Knowledgable and very efficient 5⭐️ service

Following a delivery of new reclining furniture I made contact via the supplier to checkout some minor malfunction. Dave the furniture technician arrived from Emmiera Group and made adjustments which removed an annoying creak and also some alignment issues.
Knowledgable, very efficient and courteous.

The customer service I received today…

The customer service I received today was brilliant,the technician who came was very helpful, friendly and answered all my questions,he solved my problem straight away,I’m sorry I didn’t get his name to mention him personally

Emmiera Group have provided a first class service .I am speaking from experience .My sofa had a leaning fault .From first contacting the group everything was done in a matter of days .I received regular e - mail contact right upto the time of visit.Great, friendly ,Knowledgeable, gentleman engineer ,soon fixed it ! Thankyou .

I had a fauty sofa from Paltronas sofa, damaged in delivery.
Emmiera were instructed to attend to replace the faulty part.
Company are super professional, prompt, keep you in the loop all the way.
Engineer attended today, kept me in loop when he would be here, frame replaced, all clean and tidy, put the frame together so I could dispose off.

Great company, highly recommend. 🙏

Friendly, polite and knowledgeable

Had the technician come out, he turned up at the arranged time, he was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the the problem with my sofa, had a few suggestions and if doesn’t work to get back in touch with them

We had a technician send out to us from Emmiera

We had a technician send out to us from Emmiera Group after having a new oak table delivered, there were some marks we were not happy about, having them come to look to see if it could be repaired without us waiting for a new replacement table was one of several options we were given. Got to say the guy that came did a great job and was extremely pleasant and professional.

I would not recommend Emmiera Group as…

I would not recommend Emmiera Group as a company. There seems to be very little flexibility when it comes to arranging appointment dates or times, contacting the technician directly, or agreeing on a suitable time slot that accommodates ours or customers’ schedules.

The company provided its own time window, and the technician arrived at 7:30am, which was highly inconvenient for us as we had other commitments to manage around that time.

Although the fault with my furniture has been repaired, I am not confident that it is a permanent solution. Based on our previous experience with the same issue, it appears to be a recurring problem.

The estimated time slot was communicated to you the evening before as between 07:30-10:24 the following day.

Due to the logistics of our technicians' work, it is not possible to guarantee arrival at, before, or between specific times.

Regarding the issue with your sofa, we do not manufacture or sell furniture and any concerns you may have about the repair not being a permanent solution, should be relayed to your insurer.

Jobs need to be allocated correctly on TIME

A technician come to fix sofa on 2 separate occasions both asked what needed doing?
First tec was only given 80 mins to fix faulty lumber heat but company didn’t tell him the interiors needed to be replaced so had to rebook. Second technician came at about 3.30pm and did not have enough time to do the job so again had to rebook another appointment, this all takes time as you have to wait for report to go back to furniture company.
I really think people that book these appointments need to have a better idea of the time each job takes and not leave customers disappointed. Apart from that the technicians that come to do jobs very pleasant polite.
