The technician was very polite and…

The technician was very polite and arrived promptly as agreed, reviewed the situation and set about repairing the conservatory settee, after concluding the job the difference is quite exceptional.

Excellent service and would highly recommended the company to everyone.

Harry came to look at my sofa as I felt…

Harry came to look at my sofa as I felt it was sinking in the middle. He strengthened it for me and it’s so much better. He was friendly and efficient unlike scs who I bought it from. I am grateful for all your hard work and knowledge Harry

Record your visit for proof of conversation

My advice for if you are interacting with this company is record your visits so you have proof of the whole experience.
Ordered a couch from Argos and due to issue with the couch Technician was called from Emmiera. He came to my house and was unbelievably rude to me, gaslighting me and telling me he thinks the rips in my couch were there the hole time and I just didn't notice?
He said originally it was a design fault and not a fault in the couch but when I said ok so it is a fault he said it wasn't and that he didn't say that. He'd say one thing to refute the other then when I followed that line he'd say no not what he meant.

I was trying to argue back to his claims and he was laughing at me. Said one thing to back me into a corner then when I asked for clarification he would change what he said. Wouldn't let me see what he wrote and then wanted me to sign a sheet to say I confirmed? Confirmed what?

They must get commission for reporting no faults for these furniture companies because I've never been argued with by someone as a customer so much in my life. All I'll say is make sure you stand strong and be ready to have to defend yourself tooth and nail because they are not here to help you, they're here so they can get a payout from big furniture companies for refusing repairs.

We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the outcome of your recent sofa bed assessment.

Firstly, to be absolutely crystal clear, we are paid a set fee to conduct a furniture assessment and whether or not there are manufacturing faults, we are not paid any additional fees or commission on that basis.

In the nicest way possible, it does not affect us as a company whether furniture is faulty or not.

Applying the logic used in your feedback, if our goal was increased income, our technicians could just declare that every item they assess is faulty. That way, we would attend again once authorised by the client to carry out the repairs, for which we would be paid another fee.

Our technician made a recording which you took part in where he advised you of an invalid claim i.e. no faults of manufacturing origin. On the same recording he asked if you agreed with his findings and you can clearly be heard saying that you did not.

If you remain unhappy with our expert technician's findings, please contact your retailer directly to discuss this.

We do not manufacture nor sell furniture and attended in a third-party capacity.

Avoid this company.

When you get a visit and are told that your outdoor furniture, costing 2.5k should be kept undercover when not in use and indoors for most of the year you realise that the technicians are instructed to find in favour of the shop and not the customer. Dont use this company. Find your own independent assessor…there is a reason the shops recommend them…doesn’t take a genius to work it out!

Regardless of the cost of furniture, if it is not correctly maintained it will be prone to deterioration.

We do not find in favour of any party; whether this is the customer, insurer, retailer, or manufacturer. In the politest way possible, the outcome of assessments has no bearing on what we are paid as there is a set fee for our service, not the result.

Polyrattan furniture should not be left outdoors unprotected in the Winter as discolouration, cracking, and brittleness can occur.

Andy came to me on 14 April and…

Andy came to me on 14 April and presented a lovely person but further lead me down the garden path by telling me my furniture was indeed faulty, the footstool did not match the sofa, was too tall for comfort, even made his hips hurt etc and on Sunday (19th) I get an email from Novuna (finance company) saying Andy's report states NEGATIVE/NO FAULTS. LIARS, all of you! CLEARLY paid by the opposition to cover for them!

Comfort is subjective and not something that we are unable to comment on. We are also unable to comment on any differences between the item you have received and the one that you tried in your retailer's store.

Our role as an independent company (we are paid for our services but not for the outcomes) is to assess if the furniture is to specification and performing as per manufacturer's guidelines.

Professional Job done

This is the second time they have come…

This is the second time they have come to my rescue, to correct silly mistakes by household members. Both times, the repairs were carried out in a professional manner. I'm very glad they are on hand to really help. I have no problem highly recommending them.

While our technician was there, a new fault was discovered which we could not have pre-empted. Unfortunately, this meant there was insufficient time to fully resolve the issues.

This matter has been referred to your retailer and you should hear from them in the near future.

We understand the frustration you must be feeling however this was a matter beyond our control.

I was very pleased with the service…

I was very pleased with the service that i received, due to being unable to reattach the bolt to the spring mechanism on my manual recliner chair. The technican who came out, was very friendly, professional and the job was fixed in no time.

Not a reputable company

Was quoted £130.00 to replace one broken spring on a sofa and £260.00 to replace two !!!. What a total rip off and the springs were not in stock either and they wanted payment in advance and they couldn't give me a date for repair ??
Got another mobile upholster with 40 years experience to replace two springs etc for £120.00 all in .Super job done .
I will leave you
to draw your own conclusions. Clearly I was being conned

To clarify, the quote was for the part itself, the courier costs associated with that, professional fitting, and came with a 12-month warranty.

It is non-obligational and we are delighted that you managed to find someone who could replace both springs at a cheaper price.

While it was not necessarily like-for-like, we always aim to be competitive so that we can offer value for money.

Outstanding customer service

The service we received from the engineer was outstanding. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and clearly went the extra mile to help us.

The part that had previously been delivered was incorrect, which would have meant a lot of additional hassle in arranging a replacement. However, the engineer offered to try and repair the damaged part himself to save us both time and inconvenience. Thankfully, he was able to fix it successfully.

He also took the time to give us helpful advice on how to care for our leather settees, which we really appreciated.

I would definitely recommend this service to friends and family.

Professional and efficient.

Professional! From initial contact to completion of issue Emmiera were immensely professional, courteous and knowledgable in all communication and completion. The technician kept us updated on his arrival time, was courteous and removed his shoes - always appreciated! He quickly identified the problem which was a sofa arm not connected quite right leaving a gap in recliner. He was very mindful of not scratching flooring as he moved sofa and ensured everything was put back as he found. Quickly resolved and completely satisfied. Wish all companies were as efficient and professional! 😊
