Dont waste your money!
After they cancelled 2 appt last min,making me take time off work!
They finally turned up workers very polite, wanted stains removed from sofa they had a hand held shark cleaner which i have the same! Thought it would be something more industrial! I could have done the exact same job without wasting time taking time off work..
Overall outcome not impressed at all
What a waste of money having this insurance!

This is my second review for Emmiera after my 1* last visit review
The technician today was extremely helpful polite, courteous and tidy he carried out my repair professionally and went above and beyond and repaired and reinforced the front structure of my sofa and I am very happy with the result. I would have given 5* only I have just read the reply to my last review from Emmiera where I said "the wood may or could have been faulty"
(the sofa is 4 yrs old with a 20 year structural guarantee) It has been well looked after and it was only a slight bow in the front which wasn't noticeable until we heard the creak, when my husband knelt on it to get the remote control from a side table, certainly I didn't think this was accidental damage in the home as your first technician said it was! but we have to agree to disagree! but then your reply was "there was no knot in the wood where the crack appeared " I have a photograph from yesterday when the sofa was stripped back to be repaired if you would like me to send you, it's of the wood cracked just a few centimeters from a Knot in the wood the same front piece of wood thats cracked. I'm certain over time and in heated homes wooden structures can dry out so it could affect wear over time... It's a pity it cannot be uploaded onto here.
But at end of the day I am very happy with my repair and the very polite technician who attended my home yesterday Thankyou.

Very happy with Serjo who attended and…
Very happy with Serjo who attended and changed the fabric on the sofa. He throughly checked the form to ensure that it was not damaged. He confirmed my view that it was the actual fabric. A new sofa 3 weeks old should not start to show deep creases. DFS did not agree with me and said it was natural and I should “manipulate “ the fabric creases each day to smooth them out. The issue was on one particular place. I have always purchased sofas from DFS, but this time very disappointed with them.

ZERO INTEGRITY, ZERO INTEREST IN CUSTOMER CARE
The Emmiera Group technician was sent to inspect and possibly fix ScS sofa (ScS - another "great" customer service bunch). The person came over, checked the furniture and rightly concluded the manufacturing fault which he was unable to fix. Fair enough. However, after his visit I have not heard anything neither from Emmiera Group nor the ScS. Few weeks passed, so I contacted both companies. ScS said the technician FIXED the problem (he certainly did not, so HE LIED IN HIS REPORT) and closed the case. Emmiera when asked about the issue washed their hands and directed me to the ScS, despite their employee NOT DOING HIS JOB and PRODUCING FALSE REPORT. Absolute joke of customer service.

The technician was very helpful and took about 45 mins to repair both arm rests on sofa. The technician gave me a few tips regarding maintaining the arm pads in good condition.

First class service
This was a first class service from beginning to end.
They kept me updated throughout and I never had to chase them for information.
Our fabric was discontinued but they found a perfect match.
The technicians who came to our home were polite and friendly and worked solidly to get the job done, leaving our home as they found it.
I can’t thank this company enough and would definitely recommend them.

We had a problem with our chair Emmiera were asked to come out and investigate
They found it was a manufacturer fault and a new cushion seat pad was ordered
They came back out today to fit the new seat pad the technician was very courteous and totally respected our home he had good banter and did a great job we are very happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend Emmiera

Fixing of Table and sofa
We have had a technician out to us twice now - once for a misaligned table and most recently for issues with a new sofa. Everything was sorted to our full satisfaction and the service and attitude of the technician was first class and couldn't be faulted.
