For a 99 EUR laptop battery, I paid 18,20 EUR FEDEX plus 33 EUR import duties.
So 50% additional order costs value !!!!
Furthermore, the battery I received is not even a DELL genuine one !
Next time I will order on Amazon to avoid being fooled !
IFixit MacBook Pro 2015 Akku nach 2 Jahren kaputt
Hatte einen Akku von IFixit gekauft, weil ich dachte wenn er mehr kostet ist er vielleicht auch besser. Weit gefehlt, nach fast genau 2 Jahren und 93% Kapazität hat er von heute auf Morgen seinen Geist aufgegeben und wurde nicht mehr erkannt. Angebot auf meine Anfrage bei IFixit, 10 Euro Rabatt bei Neukauf. Jetzt habe ich den von NinjaBatt eingebaut, weil er günstiger war. Der Einbau verlief problemlos. Alles passt wie es soll. Als Baudatum wird 2015 angezeigt, was aber wohl mit den verwendeten original Chips zusammen hängt. Bin gespannt wie lange dieser hier hält.

Do not bother paying for priority shipping.
I bought a screwdriver bit and the heat pack package Tuesday at 4 pm. In their own delivery time diagram is says 1-2 business days delivery for priority mail, and since I needed it to fix my cousin's phone I paid for that.
But it is worth nothing when you have no idea when they are going to send the package.
Thursday there was no update on my order so I wrote an email, that I wanted the difference for priority covered since it wouldn't be delivered the same week.
The day after (Friday) I received a response just saying that the order was now send, not even addressing the refund.
I wrote them back that I wanted a refund but as of today Monday the package is delayed and no answer from the store.

Tuesday i received an email confirming a refund, not in any way or form communication, just a confirmation of a refund of the entire postage price.
I have received the package today (Wednesday) and the delay was entirely on FedEx.

Garanzia formidabile! Ho effettuato più di un ordine dal negozio europeo di iFixit, ma quello che mi ha colpito di più è stato quanto accaduto con l'ultimo acquisto effettuato. Ho preso un bundle che conteneva il Pro Tech Toolkit e, all'interno di quest'ultimo, le pinzette con la punta in nylon avevano un becco rotto. Gli incidenti possono capitare, ma qui entra in gioco la qualità del supporto clienti, il quale non solo mi ha risposto promettendomi una pronta sostituzione, ma ha poi provveduto ad inviarmi il pezzo di ricambio richiesto più un nuovo paio di pinzette complete! Posso quindi solo dirmi soddisfatto e congratularmi per l'ottimo servizio ricevuto.
Sehr schlechter Kundenservice
Den erhaltenen Ersatzakku wollte ich von einem Reparaturservice wechseln lassen, da ich selbst keine Erfahrung darin habe. Eine Stunde, nachdem ich den Akku und mein Smartphone dort abgegeben hatte, kam ich wieder und man sagte mir, dass der Akku nicht passen würde. Das konnte ich nicht glauben und habe es mir zeigen lassen. Tatsächlich passte der Akku nicht. Ich habe dem Support geschrieben und sollte Beweisfotos erstellen, was ich sehr gut nachvollziehen kann. Das habe ich getan, worauf mir geschrieben wurde, dass wohl ein Produktionsfehler vorlag. Ein paar Tage später erhielt ich eine Mail mit der Bitte darum, dass ich das Smartphone erneut öffnen und den Platz für den Akku ausmessen solle. Das habe ich getan und die Werte inklusive Fotos dem Support zugesendet. Daraufhin wurde der Kaufpreis des Akkus erstattet. Zusätzlich erhielt ich einen 10€ Gutschein. Als nun der neue Akku verfügbar war, wollte ich diesen bestellen und meinen Gutschein einlösen. Dann musste ich feststellen, dass mir zusätzlich noch knapp 5€ Versandkosten berechnet wurden. Dadurch bleiben noch 5€ des Gutscheins übrig. Durch die Kosten, die mir durch den Reparaturservice entstanden sind, zahle ich am Ende drauf, weil die iFixit einen Fehler gemacht hat. Weiterhin habe ich durch das Ausmessen des Innenraums des Smartphones die Arbeit für iFixit gemacht. Es ist als Kunde nicht meine Aufgabe, die Arbeit für das Unternehmen zu machen.
Ich habe am Ende Zeit und Nerven hineingesteckt, um meinen Akku am Ende 1 1/2 Monate später zu erhalten und mehr zu zahlen. Diesen Umgang mit den Kunden finde ich sehr schade.
Just terrible
Absolutely one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve ever had. I needed a replacement internal fan for a Nintendo Switch as mine was faulty. I figured I’d try ifixit as they are well known and often recommended. The fan was way more expensive from them than any other store but I figured I was paying for service and quality, boy was I wrong. So firstly their website says that they ship most orders within 24 hours. A week later I hadn’t had any communication from them and no package. I emailed their customer service to ask what was going on and the lady who replied was incredibly rude and aggressive right off the bat. She told me they had shipped the item and they just hadn’t emailed me to tell me. She then gave me some Fedex tracking details but also seemed to be very angry with me and was threatening to cancel my order. Regardless I checked the Fedex tracking page and it informed me the package had indeed shipped but was delayed for unspecific reasons. I then had to spend HOURS contacting Fedex to be told that ifixit had not completed customs paperwork correctly but they would now get it moving and it should arrive the next day. It didn’t. At this point I had given up on ever receiving the fan and decided to order a fan on Amazon, which arrived the next day. I emailed ifixit multiple times asking to cancel the order but they completely ignored me every time. The fan actually turned up today. It was very badly packaged in a large crushed cardboard box with no packaging inside so the fan was just rattling around loose in the box. I was charged £7.99 for thermal paste too and they sent the tiniest tube of paste I’ve ever actually seen. Incredible ripoff. These guys are nothing but scammers who seem to have a genuine hatred for their customers. I would never purchase anything from these bozos again and I advise everyone to do the same. I will now be raising a dispute with Paypal to get my money back. The directors of this company should all be ashamed.
Best store for tools
Wanted to fix an old console having 0 tools, got everything from iFixit store. Super quick delivery, nice sets of tools, that have all you need and great customer support - the pen from the ordered FixMat was not working, got it replaced within few days, I wish everyone had such kind of customer support.
Only downside - the US store has better choice, but at the same time am glad that there is one in EU - no need to order from the US one and pay additional taxes.

Ordered two products from the company…
Ordered two products from the company at the begining of last week and didnt recieve any updates until I emailed them asking for an update on my order where they sent me my tracking number yesterday which showed my package delievered to a completely different place so I have chased this up with ifixit and still no response.
Battery return impossible
I ordered a battery replacement kit for my 2015 macbook pro 13 inch. It took ages to arrive by which time my laptop had died and I needed to find alternative solutions. The problem is that there is no way to return a battery to Germany as it is classed as "dangerous goods" and nobody is willing to ship it from the UK. I have spend 2 days trying. Now I am left with a £100+ battery I do not need and no way to get my money back - the company does not help.

Habe ein Displayreperatur Kit für ein iPhone XR bestellt, hat alles gut geklappt. Leider hat das Display nicht funktioniert (Ghost touch) und iFixit hat den Betrag sofort erstattet.
Bad batteries & evasive support
First up, my lesson and recommendation: Don't gamble on getting a good battery here. It's not worth the headaches of dealing with the evasive and cumbersome support in case you get a bad one. Bite the bullet and get an original replacement.
Got 3 batteries, guides were fantastic, was a breeze to install.
Then all 3 batteries started losing capacity noticeably after just a few months, despite carefully following calibration instructions. Vastly inferior to original parts.
Contacted iFixit when it happened to the 2nd battery. They require you to go through a cumbersome process that's hard to perform if you need to use the device daily. Certainly not respectful of your time.
I can tell from just regular usage that the batteries are not working properly. No elaborate testing is needed to establish that.
The 3rd battery inflated, causing a crack in the trackpad and warping the body of my MacBook.
They offered a refund for the battery, but refuse to take responsibility for the damage.
Instead they shift the blame onto me, because I didn't contact them immediately when the battery lost capacity, to follow their longwinded process. They are probably right "legally".
So in the end, my experience felt like they engineered their processes to make you jump through cumbersome and unnecessary hoops, so as to be able to shift all the blame onto the customer in the end, and rid themselves of any responsibility.
It's one thing to do that in your T&Cs to protect the company from disaster. It's quite another thing to exploit it in ways like this.
Certainly didn't feel like a modern customer-oriented service, and more like they're stuck in some old ways.
Iphone X battery - top
I ordered an Iphone X battery from the EU store. I had some problems with delivery: it arrived in 24hrs but i wasn’t at home neither the second day. However, Ifixit was very kind with me and assured me about the delivery.
Once i got it, I replaced the old battery using their guides. Reading other users’ comments was also very useful.
In the end everything went ok and the battery seems working properly.
Yes, They’re more expensive than resellers on Aliexpress or Ebay, but you have all that free guides and they are trustworthy on the quality of product and of repair process.

I totally agree about UK buyers beware.
I purchased a replacement battery for my MacBook Pro but ordered the wrong one by mistake. I purchased the correct one from iFixit and went to return the wrong one and the couriers require an EORI number but iFixit refused to give me this number saying it is a private internal number. Without this number I have been told it is likely that German customs will hold or refuse the return so I am unable to return the wrong battery.
Update: After more emails IFixit have provided a pre-paid label and customs form, pre-filled, and a quick trip to the post office got the parcel on its way, so problem hopefully solved.

If any one from UK thinking of buying electronic goods from iFixit EU, think again as if for any reason you need to send the goods back for the refund, it will be a big issue of German custom delay and company will not help to claim the goods from the custom so it will be retuned to the sender. iFixit blames the Brexit and German custom.
iFixit EU is not the best company to spend your money as even if your good is faulty you may not get any customer help form this company.

Das Paket ist nie angekommen und am ende sollte ich die Bestellung 4 mal bezahlen, dass ist einfach nur unmöglich. wenigstens konnte der Kundenservice mir schnell helfen und ich habe das Geld zurück erhalten. trotzdem nie wieder!

Delivery is one of the worst I've had recently. Too boring to recount it fully but the missed package note was missing information. Options for redelivery were hard to find. In the end I found a contact number via an app I had to download (FedEx although iFixit said delivery was with DHL) - even though I have indicated on the app (twice just to make sure) that signature is not required and they can just post the package I have been asked to write a note on my door asking the delivery driver to post the package into my letterbox!? Rant over.. let's hope it arrives tomorrow.
