no tabs to view past orders !

PURCHASED a couple of items, no delivery went to ifixit to complain and there is no way to view past orders ! NO TAB TO GET IN TOUCH , have given up remember if you cannot see past orders you cannot complain !

Definitely not satisfied

Look, you'll get fast shipping time, that's granted, especially due to the exorbitant cost. As for tool quality, I couldn't even open my phone using their own instructions. I kept thinking it was the iOpener (a "tool" that you heat up, to soften the residue that holds the back glass together) that wasn't hot enough. Until it burst! It was definitely hot enough before, but it barely budged. Not to mention, you have to apply a ton of force, whilst holding the phone down AND on top of that, you have to place the pick in between the frame and the back glass. Even their own teardown videos, they use other suction cups that aren't included in the kit.

Not even going to mention the price, it's ridiculous (shipping included). If you're a beginner or think it'll be easy, seriously, ponder your options, it's not as easy as they make it out to be.

Ifix it ltd is not a proper company if you buy anything from them you get damaged goods and definitely no refund back and you will get a private number call on your mobile it's the seller who then will abuse you and then say don't ever buy anything from me because of the feedback I gave as a true buyer you can't get hold of then even if you message them or contact them you you won't get any reply back unless you give a negative feedback and then you will get an abusive phone call on a private number on your mobile from the seller at the end of the day as a buyer you lose out no refund stay well away from this seller and the company worst company I have ever done business with never again

Quick Delivery & Authentic Product

It was my first time ordering from iFixit as I see them recommended on a YouTube Video tutorial for a replacement of a MacBook Pro late 2014 battery and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the battery which was authentic and the iFixit removal kit which was also fantastic and great quality, the guys also left some haribo in my parcel which was a very nice touch. I will be using this company again when I require anything from there!

Akku für das Macbook Pro Retina…

Akku für das Macbook Pro Retina bestellt. Nach knapp 8 Monaten war er defekt (MacBook Pro Fehlermeldung: Jetzt austauschen). Das Problem geschildert. Absolut problemloser Austausch bei iFixit, genau so, wie man es sich als Kunde wünscht. Ein Akku kann ja mal einen Fehler haben.

Expensive delivery costs, failure to deliver within stated time

Ordered item online (in stock) on 14 October 2019 and paid £7.83 for shipping. The item is some adhesive strips to re-affix the screen for an iMac 27 inch.
Have received no updates from the company regarding the order, whether it has been dispatched, when it might arrive, contrary to the 4-5 days delivery time indicated for the ridiculously expensive shipping charge - which was almost the same cost as the adhesive strips themselves.

Perfect customer service

Perfect customer service! I wasn't very happy with the screen I received. I knew I was buying an aftermarket replacement, but I was disappointed by the colours and contrast. I returned (a bit late) my order and iFixit immediately reimbursed me, I would definitely come back if I need another part.

iFixed it, and I'm real happy about it!

When it comes to speedy, effective and reliable customer service in a world where it's all going downhill in said subject, these guys and gals really do deliver the goods even on stressful conditions, which helps your confidence. The products delivered are top notch from tools to batteries and the instructions on the American website are pretty straightforward to follow. Time, patience and attention to detail are required, and under these conditions the chances of you screwing up self-servicing your electronic device should be minimal. 5 starts easily earned!

Keine Rechnung. Keine Anwort auf eMails.

Neuen Akku für mein MacBookAir bestellt.
Wurde prompt geliefert und war mit Anleitung im Netz leicht einzubauen.
Da ich den Laptop beruflich nutze, benötige ich eine Rechnung.
Unter FAQ´s steht: "Bei einer Bestellung in unserem iFixit EU Store per PayPal oder Kreditkarte wird eine Bestätigung per E-Mail abgeschickt. Ein PDF der Rechnung wird danach ebenfalls per Email versandt".
Die Bestätigung kam, auf die Rechnung warte ich trotz mehrmaliger Kontaktversuche noch immer ( ....ja, ich habe im Spam nachgesehen ;-) )
Leider gibt es keine Hotline!

Repair Business Toolkit

Just bought the Repair Business Toolkit. Came much quicker than expected. Worked out that the price for the kit was equivalent to 10% discount if I had bought all the items individually. I've used the free guides on ifixit many times and tried to follow them using inadequate tools. So glad I can now finally use the right tools for the right job.

Essential Electronics Toolkit

Bought the Essential Electronics Toolkit. It is perfect, has been put to great use since it was delivered and they even put some goodies in the parcel along with the toolkit. The only downside is the expensive shipping but the quality of the item is very good, recommend it to anybody getting into repair. (or more specifically smartphone repair.)

Perfekt

Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen Paket kam innerhalb von 2 tagen jedoch hatte das Erdungskabel gefehlt habe den Support angeschrieben und am nächsten Tag habe ich eine Antwort bekommen und das Erdungskabel wurde mir zu gesendet. Kann mich nicht beschweren!!!

defective, overpiced item. Stay away from ifixit.

I bought a "lightning connector and headphone jack" for my iphone 6s because my battery in my phone could not charge properly due to a loose connection. I followed ifixit's comprehensive (and very good) guide to replace the lightning connector, and once I was done I checked if everything on my iphone worked (GPS, bluetooth, charging, speaker etc.). Everything worked BUT the headphone jack! The problem was that my phone did not register when I plugged in my head phones! I wrote ifixit an email where I kindly requested some assistance to help resolve the issue. I explained that I believed that the part I ordered from ifixit was defective. I did not receive an answer at all. I then bought a new lightning connector (OEM quality) from a local web shop (phone-parts.dk) for 49 danish kroner (appr. 7 EUR versus the ifixit price of 28 EUR). I replaced the faulty item from ifixit with the one from phone-parts.dk and once I was done with the replacement everything in phone, including the head phone jack,worked just fine!
Based on my experience I can only think that ifixit buys cheap knockoffs and resells them at high prices.
In conclusion, I can only recommend to stay away from ifixit.
