Poor quality alarms, they state they alarms last for 8x years. I've had 2x, both of which have failed within 3 years. They then do not provide replacements, as they state Amazon is not an authorised seller and that as a consumer I should know who the authorised sellers are.
They know they've manufactured a faulty alarm, but do not want to help you.
They refused to escalate my complaint and hung up on me.
I believe this to be a scam, they lure you in with a long warranty period, knowing their units won't last this long, knowing that they have no intention of fulfilling the warranty.

This company have excellent customer care.
I was in touch with Robbie about a replacement alarm which he sent out very quickly. Unfortunately I gave him the wrong alarm number. On being contacted again, he straight away sent the correct alarm, even though the mistake was MINE.

In 2021 I bought 10 components for this battery connected, Interlocked, Fire,Heat and CO detection system from FireAngel. They seemed like the best system I could buy and each had a 5 or 10 year battery. One of the smoke detectors started chirping overnight and I recieved multiple alerts on the system itself AND the phone app. The app advised me to contact Customer Care through the app which I did. In less than 10 minutes I had spoken to Alan who talked me through removing the faulty alarm from the system, stopping the chirping AND how to be sent a free replacement. Alan was superb, friendly yet professional and a great credit to FireAngel. I knew I had made the best decision in 2021 and that has proven correct to this day.

My smoke alarm showed signs of low battery power during its warranty period. I reported the issue by phone to Robbie from Fire Angel who was very polite, professional and informative. The process for obtaining a replacement under warranty was very straightforward.

I contacted Fireangel as one of our smoke detectors became faulty. They (Madjid) dealt with the claim promptly and arranged the postage of a new unit within 48 hours. Excellent service.

The customer service is excellent. I had cause to contact them, as my smoke alarm was going off intermittently 14 months after purchase. I spoke with a very helpful agent (Alan) and I only had to upload the sales receipt to the link provided and a new alarm was dispatched. Highly recommend 👌

Purchased 2 mains powered smoke alarms in 2023
Internal battery now failed and unit chirping despite replacement sticker indicating 10 years 2033. Fire angel customer service says this unit was manufactured in 2022 I cant find my screwfix invoice, they only go back 18 months. Fire angel wont budge even though they know their producte have premature battery failiers
Will be ripping these rubbish bits of crap out altogher and looking for somthing else
Avoid Fire angel.....you have been warned.

My claim for a replacement CO2 monitor under the terms of the warranty when purchased was initially rejected even though I had provided the required proof of purchase as requested.
Further correspondence was therefore required at which point the company accepted they had been wrong in rejecting the claim and agreed to provide a replacement ( still to be received).
The warranty on this product was 7yrs and it failed after 6. Keeping the original receipt and warranty details is key.

I purchased the FireAngel Pro Connected system (3 smoke alarms, 1 heat alarm and gateway).
The individual alarm units themselves appear well built and of good quality. The issue is the gateway.
The gateway repeatedly went offline and would not maintain a stable internet connection. After extensive troubleshooting, FireAngel support confirmed that the gateway is not compatible with certain routers (in my case, a DrayTek 2927), and that this is a known issue affecting multiple users. I was also informed that replacement gateways may work temporarily but can redevelop the same fault over time.
Without a functioning gateway, there are no remote alerts, no app monitoring and no internet connectivity — which removes the entire purpose of buying the “Pro Connected” system.
The support process added unnecessary stress. There was an initial reluctance to accept that this was a product limitation, and the return was framed as a standard “change of mind” return rather than a fault-based one. For a life-safety product, that was disappointing.
A refund was eventually issued once the goods were returned, although I was required to cover the return delivery costs despite the issue being product-related.
In its current form, the gateway is not robust enough for a modern network environment. If you require reliable remote fire monitoring, I would highly recommend looking at alternatives such as Ajax, which operate on a far more stable and professionally designed platform.

I had an issue with a 4 year old smoke detector. I emailed customer services and within the same day, there was a replacement dispatched. Excellent customer service.

A combined CO2/smoke alarm bought in Oct 25 started to chirp 4 months into it's 10 year lifespan.
Using the simple to 'Contact Us' on their website, customer services Nikkita quickly advised to dispose of the old unit, and organised a warranty replacement.
Good service 👏
