I recently ordered wooden flooring from floorsave but wanted to return as my daughter decided she wanted carpet instead.These things happen.! I contacted the floorave ladies who were understanding and a return arranged at my cost..When I ordered in the first instance I found I needed a further two packs so immediately contacted to add to the order prior to dispatch.When the return carraige was agreed it was at £50 plus vat so I went along with that..Upon receiving my refund, noticed a discrepancy which I immediately queried...I was told that I had been charged for two collections / carraiges totalling £120 Inc vat..at which I am flabbergasted.Explaination was "two orders"....!! The delivery I received was on one pallet and I returned one pallet so I am left to presume that by having two invoices this required two carriage charges..!!That seems to be very unfair..We live in Sheffield but as it happens have a friend who works in close proximity to the floorsave warehouse, Surrey..He could,at a push have dropped the flooring in but to make things run smoothly I decided to make things less complicated. I cannot make common sense prevail here and feel totally humiliated and annoyed that it can cost an extra £50 plus vat to transport a piece of paper attached to another package..It does not make sense at all.I have photographs and cctv footage of the one pallet being collected from my house.. I would like a refund and will follow up on Trustpilot re the outcome. Very unhappy...Followup 11.06.24.Downgraded owing to further negativity and I do not accept the explaination / response..I paid for delivey when ordered so why would I pay delivery again due to cancellation. ! I accepted the return charge at £50 plus vat ( £60 ) and dont believe the outcome is satisfactory. 11.06.24 )

Thank you for your review although I have to say I am also disappointed in this review considering the communications between us. Unfortunately you have misunderstood my email explaining the way it was worked out. You have paid the original cost of delivery to your house, that was £54. That was for both orders as you had one delivery. You then decided you didn't want the goods, ie there was no fault and then you agreed with our quote for £60 to collect and return to the warehouse. We did offer that you could have your friend drop it, which would have done away with the collection/return charge. However the initial charge for delivery, the £54 charge is not refunded unless there was a problem, it was delivered and so a cost is due.
We did send out the returns guide twice to you, once with your initial order and again with your returns request, we also ask that customers read this in our email.
You did not pay two charges for your two orders, you paid one delivery charge, for your amalgamated orders, and one charge to return it.
We also think it is a shame for you to ask for a refund with your two star review rather than come back to us directly.

I received the sample which matched my existing and placed my order. This all went very smoothly and was delivered on time and very pleased with the quality of wood.

Prices and service were both great!
Prices and service were both great. Ordered a set of free samples on a Monday and received them on Wednesday. Ordered the floor on Thursday evening. Got a call first thing Friday morning offering delivery on Monday, and the order arrived as scheduled.

The sample I requested arrived much sooner than I expected. The floorboard quality exceeded my expectations. When I am ready to install the floor I will buy the floorboard from Floorsave.

Fantastic flooring at a great price
Fantastic flooring at a great price. Quick delivery too despite it saying to expect it to take 21 days. Only complaint would be the attitude of the delivery driver but that is probably nothing to do with Floorsave. He was not happy that we lived on a busy road and his attitude was questionable!

I have not bought anything from you.
Your delivery charge to Scotland is ridiculous. I was going to buy SPC tiles for my new kitchen but in the end due to the charge you have become absolutely uncompetitive.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We have had to look at delivery charges to some postcodes after not increasing our prices and covering the difference.
Unfortunately we have to now pass on the actual cost as our goods have to go out on pallets to protect them from damage so can be expensive. Some postcodes are very expensive and I am sorry yours fell within that scope.
We have updated our website to give personalised quotes for some deliveries but we do understand if customers cannot proceed with their orders.
