I was really disappointed to receive a message today (Friday) to say that my delivery of a surprise bouquet of flowers was delayed and would now be delivered on the next working day despite being ordered and paid in full four days ago. Surprise was completely ruined when the delivery driver called my relation to advise her of the day.

I placed an order for same-day delivery at 9 am, with the company guaranteeing delivery by 6 pm. This was intended as a birthday gift. Despite multiple emails since 4pm, by 5pm, 5:30pm, 5:40pm and 5:50pm, they were still uncertain if they could meet their promised delivery time. They cited unforeseen events like traffic delays—yet in Ashford, Co. Wicklow, at 5:30 pm, the roads were empty with no traffic in sight - I was driving there at that time. They also mentioned the drivers had other deliveries (??) - isn't mine of them?? Makes no sense to offer a service for which you cannot comply with.
Not only did they fail to fulfill their commitment, but their excuses were nonsensical. They lack a direct phone number, they cannot provide any ETA from the delivery driver, and only offer customer service via email. Even their agents are unable to resolve issues without waiting for a manager's call the next day.

Upon realizing the delivery wouldn't arrive on time, I requested a refund. However, they insist on delaying the refund process until tomorrow, claiming they cannot process it immediately without me speaking with a manager (??). This level of unprofessionalism and unreliability is unacceptable.

The most beautiful hat box of flowers I could have hoped for!

Edit: FlowersDirect.ie gave a full refund for missing the delivery date. This was done promptly and without fuss. It doesn't mitigate the disappointment of failing to deliver on the confirmed date but it does show they took the complaint seriously and made an attempt to make amends.

Original review: Ordered flowers to be delivered for my wife's 40th birthday. They did not arrive on the day despite tracking confirming they were out for delivery. I called customer service. They said they would check with the courier and email me an update. I heard nothing back. Less than useless. The flowers I ordered were not cheap and were ordered well in advance. Even if they are delivered after her birthday it will be pointless. Her birthday is over. I'm appalled by how bad this is. How can you take an order and not fulfill it with the prices you are charging? Woeful. Will NEVER use again.

I ordered the sunflower basket for my granddaughter for her 15th birthday.
I know by the feedback from her and her mother the presentation was beautiful.
Delivered on time and very much appreciated.
As I live in Australia it is important for me to be able to trust the florist for an international delivery.
I will definitely use them again.

Really disappointed with the quality of the bouquet of flowers. First ones died within 2 days, a replacement bouquet was sent and they were probably worse. Completely withered and dying within 3 days. Would not recommend

I ordered the flowers 10 days in afvance and wondered was i ordering them too early?. But they arrived bang on the day for my sisters 50 th wedding anniversary.

It was very easy to make the order and the flower bouget reached my friend's place very much on time and it looked exactly like in the photo- even more beautiful. Thanks for this great service!

Flowers looked noting like what I ordered, too much folage

I have placed an order, the bouquet was Ok(worth 80e?!?!- not really) there was meant to be delivered a box of chocolates too which it wasn't.
Emailed and informed, got email back saying they will look into it.
One week later and no update.

The flowers arrived wilting, limp and a couple of the roses were rotting from the inside. I ordered a birthday bouquet for my friend, they arrived 3 days late, looking like they had been in a van for 3 days!! I sent 3 emails with photos of the beheaded flowers, they did not acknowledge me or reply. What should have been a joyous event, just made me sad..... I do not recommend this company.

I live in Australia and wanted to ensure my daughter in law received flowers on her actual birthday. Thanks to you she did and she loved them. Getting them delivered on the day was very important.
They were beautifully presented and value for money
